Add a blank homescreen on the left? - One (M8) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Ok so I can remove blinkfeed from the left side but can only blinkfeed back onto the left when I go to add a homescreen page. I want to add a blank homescreen for shortcuts, widgets, etc. but can only choose blinkfeed. Anyone know of a way to add a blank homescreen page on the left? Thanks.

Set the home screen in the middle then you can have pages on the left and right

I don't want to have to re-do all my shortcuts and widgets. Is there a way to re-arrange my screens like move my 2nd one to the right to the left? Thanks for the replies.

has this phone got the weather animation?i cant get the rain to go on screen
It is off by default. You need to remove the clock&weather widget and re-add, there you can choose to shown full weather animation.

You don't have to remove it. You just drag the widget to the top right and pick the correct settings.

How to add more home screens?

Does anyone know how to add more home screens? I have my M8 converted to full GPe and I don't see an option to add more home screens. I checked in settings/display and no option is there.
If memory serves me correctly, try taking an app from the drawer, hold it, and then when it goes to the homescreen, hold it to the left or right edge of the screen as if there were another page there. I think it automatically creates one if you have an app that your holding.

Settings/Personalize/Manage Home Screen Pages
Then just move to your right most page, and click the "+ Panel" on the partial screen to the right of that one.

With Google Play Edittion you can have many home screens.
With Sense you can only have max 6 (including blinkfeed). Is there any way to increase to say 9 home screens. Do any custom roms have this option?

If you want that many home screens you could always use a custom launcher like Nova. And although you can't have Blinkfeed as one of the screens there is a pretty easy workaround to make it accessible from any of the home screens.
Either add a shortcut (Activity) on a screen to the HTC Launcher after deleting all but the Blinkfeed page, or even more convenient, set the Activity as a gesture launch action.

Use nova launcher or google now launcher
I tested it but I don't like because the apps don't fill the screen
Use Nova launcher and change the settings. It's under desktop and margins. That will give you the full screen to use.

You can just hold each widget and slide it to the trash if you do this for all of the widgets the first whole window will disappear... as far as the second window goes you have to leave one widget on there, I left the calender and it doesn't do any harm I use the calander a lot so it's useful for me other then that I dont really swipe to the left.

First home screen removal

I hate the screen to the left of my home screen, how can I remove it?
Open the home screen you want to remove, long press anywhere on that screen until you see the WIDGETS button at the bottom, press WIDGETS button, then just long press the screen you wish to remove and drag to the top to remove.
To change or add back just do the same, but instead just put a check in the widgets you want adding. HTH

Unfortunately, there is no way to remove it with the touchwiz launcher, unrooted.

What did I just post above? You don't need root or anything else to remove it. However you will have to leave at least one widget, that cannot be removed.

Your response does not make sense. You can't remove the screen and you must leave at least one widget on it.

There are 2 screens to the left, you can remove the first one easily. The last one only the widgets can be removed except for one.
Just use an other launcher...
Use different launcher. Even custom Roms have that screen. I think it is unremovable.

Can you set a home screen in OP launcher?

Are you able to set a home screen in the OP launcher? For example I like for my 2nd of my 3 screens to be my home screen.
Every other launcher I've used allow this but I can't figure it out with the OP launcher.
Is it possible?

2. You'll see all your screens.
3. Press on the screen you want.
4. Select and drag to the position of the home screen.

I think he wants his homescreen to be the middle of his 3 screens so that there is another screen to the left and right of his homescreen. I've looked around it it doesn't appear to allow you to do this. Perhaps it's because it needs space for the Shelf.
