[Q] Animated weather on lockscreen? - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III

Anyone know a weather widget I can use on lockscreen that works like HTC Animated Weather? That made clouds, sun, rain across the entire lockscreen. I remember I use to have one that when it rained on one ROM you would see a wiper wipe away the rain drops but I can't find an app that does that. Using MOAR ROM with Android 4.3

Fancy widgets has that option

Thanks will check that out. Checked it out and does not work.. Fancy Widgets! Beautiful Widgets! Animated Weather! None work with MOAR 9 ROM. Maybe something broken with the Android 4.3. All I know is I can not get a single animated weather to work! Is there some mod that I can flash that will give me animated weather?

I wonder how to add weather widget in lock screen, too
I'm also using MOAR 9

From what I understand the feature is no longer available due to Google and there stupidity removing feature from the kernel. Why does the kernel seem to be getting less and less features as they update. Google we'll give you one feature but take away 2 or 3 but because of the 1 you will never miss it.. I really hate Google.

Are there any animated weather widgets?

Would be cool to see moving sun rays or rain falling from a weather widget.
I'm curious about this too...
My HTC One X had an awesome weather widget... one of the many things I miss about that phone.
Bump.
I want to know this too

Beautiful Widgets has animated weather when you tap on the widget. What I think the OP wants is the actual home screen widget to be animated.

Bingo.

Beautiful Widgets also has an animated wallpaper that changes with the weather and time of day. Battery friendly too. For the weather (or clock) you can select from hundreds of themes.

Default Weather Widget - Shortcut Change?

Hello,
Does anyone know if there is a way to change the shortcut for the default S3 weather widget? Instead of it directing you to Accuweather, I would prefer that it opens up Weatherbug.
Why don't you just place the weather bug widget on your screen instead of the stock one?

Thanks ... I would use the weather bug widget, but it doesn't have the clock built in. I also considered using Fancy Widgets which is similar to the HTC interface ... I just liked the way the stock one looked and was hoping there was a way.

Yeah would be nice also if you touched the clock it would take you to your alarm or other alarm app and when you touch the weather it would open whatever weather app you wanted. One thing i miss about HTC is there widgets nothing else compared IMO
Hd Widgets isn't like the stock clock widget but it's highly customizable and 2 set ups look like the sense clocks. From the original evo is one and the other is from the new Evo 4G lte
Also weather services include accuweather, weather bug, and weather underground. I've made posts about changing the provider on the stock clocks and usually don't get a reply saying someone knows how so I just use a 3rd party one
thanks look good keep up great work
Thanks for the follow up ... I am going to check out HD Widgets ... it looks similar to the version included on the EVO
I use it and love it. You will not be disappointed.
I am using it now and agree ... very very cool!!

aha ok thanks
and how can I keep the widget full page? I installed a calendar widget but it stays minimised and I can see only one appointment...
gosh this new lockscreen is crap
I think the only way to expand it it's click on it... and yes, it's not one of the best designed feature in JB...

I'm using this for a week now but i still can't figure it how to remove that black transparent background.

Seen this on android central feed, I like it a lot but my only gripe is the fact that the stock LS collapses it. I would love if it can stay "open" all the time instead of having to swipe down to see missed calls or texts. And the damn settings button always shows as well.

Works very well, i like it.
May be more options will be included in the next upgrades.
i'm using it as well, you should try battery ext from play store.

Good question.

It uses Yahoo Weather, as stated, and apart from adding the extension it should just pick up your location. I didn't have to manually add it. Whether it is done by GPS or Mobile Network location, it just seemed to take for me.

This used to happen to me . Then i disabled the option to use home screen widgets in lock screen from my custom rom menu.
But now there is a new version from this app, that allows your homescreen widget to have full transparent background.
Yes i just updated recently, now how can i resize the overall icons and texts? They're so big... and i have to slide down to see the rest of the notifications.

I wish there was support for Whatsapp too.
Also,
I hate having to manually expand the widget when it's set to default.

There is one. Search for dashclock extensions on the play store.
I love the widget. Its fantastic. The only issue I've had is refresh time. I don't know if its there app or what, but I had a missed call yesterday morning. Even though I cleared the notification and even called them back it never went away from the widget. Hope he fixes it soon

Did you have a solution for this issue ? My LockScreen also take 2/3 from the Screen, so i cant see the full DashClock
Unless you have some sort of Lockscreen control built into the ROM, and enabled maximize lockscreen widgets or however it's worded, then there doesn't seem to be a way to force it to max size. Unless someone has found another method, which I am eagerly looking for.
I'm loving this, but the weather doesnt seem to show for me. Even tried defining a location in the default clock to see if it was connnected.
looks nice...

[Q] Transparent Stock Weather Widget For LGOG

I'm new but not really new to xda. Was wondering if any of the brilliant minds are working on making the stock JVB weather widget transparent or other options like fancy widgets does. Tried using the fancy widgets app but dosent work well on my phone since jumping from OGEVO to LGOG. Thanks in advance. And great work guys.
Beautiful Widgets is my go to for weather widgets. Thousands of themes to choose from.

Thanks for the reply
Another suggestion is the WeatherBug app. The widgets it comes with are nice. They can be clear too.
I usually just stick my head out of the window while driving.
Admittedly, this does not forecast the weather for me all that well, but I'm a live in the moment kind of guy.
In all seriousness though, Eye In The Sky has been my favorite weather widget to date.
