CM11 Pulldown settings icon cutoff - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4

For those of you guys with CyanogenMod 11, I'm having a little issue with the settings pulldown menu. The icons are cut off when the phone is on landscape mode... Here's a screenshot. I know it's a very minor issue but it seems to bother me quite a bit, any fix for this?

set your launcher to NOT DISPLAY ICON TEXT. You KNOW what the functions you set up by looking at the icons, so you won't need the text, right? That will give you more display area without cutting off the icons. Also, you might use smaller icons and closer together (all configurable in your launcher's software.)

I'm using Nova Launcher and there are no settings that change anything from the pulldown menu.

[Q] LauncherPro Icon Resize

Hey I've switched back and forth between ADW and LP quite a few times and I feel like I know both well enough to say that LauncherPro is better for my tastes... but there is one thing that ADW does a lot better. Auto-resizing icons to fit the grid on the homescreen. I like to have small icons with no labels on my homescreen. It gives it more of a minimalistic look. Has anyone else noticed that anything past 5 columns and 6 rows starts to chop off the edges of icons in LP? Is there a fix to this? Is there a way to at least remove the glow for selecting icons? That gets chopped off really bad leaving only two sides of an icon glowing/being highlighted.
Menu > Prefererences > Appearance Settings > Hide Icon Labels
For the glow around the icons, you could change it to a color that matches your wallpaper, then you won't really see it.

Some launchers e.g. Smart Launcher have a option to normalize icons. OP launcher is missing this option as far as I know.
How about some unified Icon Pack e.g. Whicons?
Icon Pack alone should fix the size problem.

Transparent or semitransparent navbar?

How I can get a transparent or semitransparent navbar? Would prefer semitransparent.
Only way I can imagine that working is making it yourself.

would the be so that you could look at the bottom of your background through the navbar?
I ask because that would be the result. an app window wouldn't appear under it, unless in immersive mode... which in full immersive mode - the navbar is transparent...
your typical app is constrained to the screen space between the statusbar and navbar.. they are in non-immersive mode... to better understand what I mean, look at the diagram here;
https://developer.android.com/training/system-ui/immersive.html
also, when u do see apps where the statusbar or navbar look more integrated with the app, that's probably hinting to colourize them to match the app...
anyhoo, I just thought I'd throw my 2 cents in, because I don't think a transparent navbar is going to do what u want it to (?).
I recommend nav bar apps, at least with it the nav bar can dynamically change colors based on the foreground app. This is the app to go-to if you're worried about screen burn.

How to change default navbar color to black?

In the settings, by default, there are only light colors for the navbar, which don't fit quite well dark apps like Spotify and Reddit.
Is there a way to set it black?
I already tried:
- LG themes and high contrast mode: they work, but also change the whole UI look.
- Nacho Notch, Navbar Apps and other applications on PlayStore: they don't change only the default color, but the color used everywhere (e.g.: Nacho Notch sets the navbar to be always black, even when it should be transparent, like in the launcher).
- Alpha Substratum theme: it doesn't affect default navbar color (or, at least, I wasn't able to let it do it).
Does anyone know how to do it?
Thanks.
I don't see it either. Apart from another launcher, I think your only option is going to be a dark theme.

Use nacho notch or navbar apps.
Or double tap the left hand dot to hide the Nav Bar in those apps you don't like the look??
I just use System UI Tuner. A few ADB commands for permission for the app to run and all is good. Find it in the Play Store. Instructions are supper easy to follow and you can hide either the nav bar status bar or go full immersive and hide both even on the home screen like I do.

Alpha most certainly has this option. That was one of the first things I did when I added G7 support! You do have to go and manually select black but the option is definitely there
Thanks!

I finally found out how to do it! I needed to "force" the black navigation bar selection in the settings after having built "System UI".
I also quickly followed a fellow XDA members advice on how to enable High Contrast to phone in the settings and makes the phone dark as can be. It solved my Setting Theme to all black and Navigation bar to black as well. Just had to change the wallpaper back but works well.

Do you mean the adaptive icon shape? That's under Display > Home screen, but the option is only available if you don't have a custom launcher set as default. Which is kinda silly since the adaptive icon shape is applied system-wide, not just in the stock launcher. I also wish there were an option to change the adaptive icon shape for adaptive icons only, without "boxing up" non-adaptive icons, as that looks really ugly the way LG does it.
