At first...i was sceptical about this rom,but eventually i flashed it :3.I must say that the outcome was amazing.Overall this ROM is one of the smoothest there is and the sound output unbelievably clear alongside a punchy bass.Battery life has been jaw dropping until now.
I must thank the developers and whoever has been involved in bringing this rom to our devices

Yea looks pretty good. Got almost everything i need. Im only missing custom hardware key binding like in slim.

Exactly what I thought! I wasn't impressed with the unpopular name at first, yet the experience proved me wrong. This ROM has everything you'd want. Fully functional. Have been playing this for 4 hours without issue. Thanks dev!

Quick update we are rebasing on slim so it will be a while before we update and it will have new features and less while we transition

Hey guys! I just bought a LG E977, I can run this rom on it?And about battery life, how much it lasts?

Is the development stopped? I'm eagerly waiting for the new rebased version.

ٌwow, nice to see that you're around. I checked the beta one but the link is dead.

Tried one of those betas some days ago. It was really smooth and performance wise it was good also. If this will be ready it's a good candidate for daily use, think that slim sources are a good choice. But for now it looked more like a down stripped slimkat rom.

Hey, I've Been running the previous beta build for two days now. Absolutely loving the minimalistic slim base! There's some fc when choosing battery saver, but overall it's pretty good. Some features I missed are lock screen setting and add new tiles directly from QS just like carbon.
Oh, and which kernel I can use on it? I tried using my fav kernel matrix but apparently it wasn't compatible. No display after boot up and the colors are inverted.
Keep up the good job mate, hopefully this ROM will become more stable as it's maturing. [emoji106]

PLEASE READ:
This AOSP is not limited to CM, Vanir, CNA, EOS, AOKP etc. you get the best of all of them.. custom tailored for the galaxy nexus (and nexus 7 soon). no bloat for other devices or unusable additions in the source. the benefit? less bugs and a more optimized experience. More major features will be added from your favorite roms as soon as i can port and improve on them. I will listen to requests but don't get offended if i put them on the back-burner or decide against including them.
Disclaimer: my op is out of date. if you've been following my rom it's kindof a running joke. real disclaimer -> Because I'm using building using commits from every major repo in existence it may take a while to integrate some of the major features to my standards. I may release a stock AOKP feature as a beta until I have the chance to improve it but I'm not interested in band-aid fixing things or duck taping **** together just to get more crap under the features list and change log. Also, If you have questions or interest in building or joining vanirAOSP please message me on gtalk: [email protected] and feel free to add me on google+
here is a link to the parent thread where you can view previous change logs and perhaps find an answer to a question
general features:
vanirAOSP base: all features included, always the latest
customized-for-speed launcher2
optimized memory usage
current bug fixes and improvements from all major repos
additional features not present in vanir
attention to the details
minor custom UI theming
custom embedded beats 5.1 drivers
louder volume
multimedia enhancements
A-GPS enhancements
inverted theme included
add removal
T5UNAMI v8 speed script
vanir kernel parameter config GUI bash type "vanir config" in terminal
improved performance settings
custom browser tweaks
fast torch
toggles, nav bar, yatta yatta
full Linaro optimizations (now following their gerrit)
optimized networking
quicker network tower connect on boot
better multi-tab browsing
major bloat removal
email and exchange available in add-on packs
Lean Kernel
Issues:
none on my toro or nexus 7
notes:
a lot of the features are hidden in the normal menus for a stock-ish look. look before you ask!

RELEASE NOTES:
it's been a while since i published on xda for maguro
this build is definitely noteworthy and i figured i'd share it.
v2 changelog:
tons of new features
tons of speed tweaks
full linaro build using GCC 4.8 and the latest linaro toolchain snapshot
fully optimized O3 AND fstrict-aliasing unlike other "linaro" roms that only offer O3
you've got no idea how much stuff has been added since i released publically for maguro
it would be best to take a look at Vanir's source here
additional speed tweaks and features can be found either in our gerrit or i will explain them if you PM me.

for toro. i leapfrogged builds because my SSD is just barely big enough to build let alone make ccache for multiple devices and it takes a longgggggggg time to build if you don't use it. both have 1.11 though. if i have enough time to build for both I will but until i have enough money to buy a bigger SSD i am gonna have to leapfrog.
Yay a new PrimeDirective ROM! I'll check this out over the weekend when I have time.
Look forward to it I'm always impressed by ur ROMs

Why is this ROM "taking CyanogenMod to the next level?
CyanogenMod does not want to include many customizations like they did in cm7
But why not? We want to customize our phones!
This ROM adds more options and cherries to CyanogenMod, cherry picked from the CM gerrit, Google gerrit, AOKP gerrit, SGT7, TeamEOS, TeamBAKED, Slim ROM, Root-Box, ChameleonOS, and ParanoidAndroid
Basically this is one big mixture of all the great ROMs out here!
Stock but still highly customizable the way we like it

oops sorry official site from main dev screenies old and my phone is broke I will ask main dev to get some new ones http://www.owain.biz/
All settngs are in settings>domination those tabs do swipe over you have to swipe at the top of them.
also under halo tab in domination>user interface you will find HALO )) which is the app not just words
Anyone enjoying if not it wont matter pac is merging our features into their rom so you will run this rom regardless lol
just a small question, everything works right? I mean is this a daily driver?
I just took some screenshots for you not a lot but see attached:
I have been running this since you posted last night and it seems SMOOTH! Great job on everything!
I did have one question: what does the SELinux status button do? I noticed that if I press it repeatedly like the build number button, my phone freaks out (screen goes black and is not responsive to button presses) and I have to reboot.
Thanks again!

So what you're saying is that pac man will no longer be supported and will become domination rom?
"Give a man a fish you feed him for a day, teach him to fish, you feed him for a lifetime." In other words help others find an answer don't just give it to them.

Domination will seize to exist which is sad I liked it when it was just me and owain doing commits. Now they will have all his features and we will join pac so I dont know if I will have to build pac since I am an official dev over there or what. If I do have to build pac both pac and domination thread need deleted or closed so I can open a new one. There is no telling when pac will have all our features so I am likely to do more builds after 4.3 is finished.

Flashed last night. Looks nice. The custom theme is fun. I did notice navigation bar height didn't work, and by default the navigation bar seems really big. I did a clean install. Wiped system, all that good stuff. So I'm not sure if I did something else wrong or if it's just a bug. And the 3 dot menu even for the big menu is a bit odd looking but that is just a preference thing and I can change that easily enough. XDA app wouldn't get past the splash screen, don't know if the rom could effect that. I restored another rom and it works fine. Not sure. Overall though nice work on the rom. Keep it up!

I really like this ROM! I like all the animations and stuff..but I am having really bad reception issues with the ROM. I was previously on Purity and didn't have any issues with reception. It keeps getting poor signal, or sometimes drops calls, or no bars/grey bars. I am using FK01/FK02 radios. I just noticed this is also 4.3.1! haha
Are there any screen shots? I'm using Sourcery and I love it but they stopped developing at 4.2.2
Is there anything in 4.3 that's worth leaving a ROM I love and don't really need anything changed?
The crack flasher in me is asking.

4.3 should be smoother and is what is currently being developed (roms/kernels actively being built with new/more optimized features)
One big thing with some 4.3 kernels now are that many have commits to reclaim more ram the os had dedicated to different things (which wasn't really needed)
For example mpokang kernel has anywhere from 750+ to about 775 total ram available vs less than 700 available stock

Be careful in saying the reclaimed ram wasn't needed. To get the full benefit you lose 1080p video. Its not necessary for some but I like to have it. A lot if people really like those kernels though. So definitely worth doing a bit of research.

It depends on which kernel (and in mpokang kernels case, which version) some, like Franco kernel reclaim quite a bit of ram and everything still works perfectly (including 1080p video)

I just noticed this is also 4.3.1! haha

Not sure about this ROM in particular...but from what I understand this is a common issue amongst many 4.3.x ROMS.

Downloading the latest update!! I have seen the SS now. Let's test this baby!
Great ROM! Thanks.
I've tried almost every GEE ROM and most have their issues but LEGO has been pretty stable.
Here are some of the persistent issues that I've experienced with other GEE ROMs (even some official LS970 builds):
Data: no LTE just 3G (i live in a strong LTE area)
GPS: locking was spotting that I would have to flash stock ROM, lock signal, update PRL and then flash choice ROM (pain in the arse).
Calendar: some could not connect to my google calendar account via app (could not connect to server would be the memo. Very basic need)
User personalization: each has their strengths/weakness but LEGO has the best of the best for me. (nice to have NOVA launcher as default)
Kernel Tweaks: most had a very thorough tweak menu and LEGO did not disappoint.
Portable Hotspot: hit or miss with them all. Have yet to try with LEGO but will report when I do.
Anyway, that's my experience and thank you again for your work to update.
I might've found a home with LEGO.
Hey, this ROM is actually pretty cool. Good job, mate! Gonna have to check this out for a couple days and see how it runs after some stress

Did you switch from nightly to beta? Currently downloading 05/04 beta.
/edit
Looks great only missing screen record, advanced privacy guard, clear all recents button and touchkey leds settings. I can live with that, as you mentioned it will take its time till all lego gimmicks are added..

Can it be flashed on sgh-t999L?

Wow...I'm impressed and from what I can see it is the best KitKat Build available on S3.
Running this on my T-mobile T999 unlocked and rooted and your version 5.2 is running perfectly so far. Few items of interest that I need include:
Bluetooth - works perfectly for me and my headsets
Clean Interface
Open Ended Customization
Black (everything)
Keep up the great work and Big Thumbs Up! Sorli...

Nicklovell23,
I know this is not in the right forum, but by chance would this work on Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-i8190 Mini (International) and presently running native JB and using ATT/Straight Talk cell service?
My wife and I have been waiting patiently for Kit Kat on our S3, but as you are aware both phones were dropped since they wouldn't support Kit Kat and TouchWiz with only 1gb of RAM. SlimKat is working pretty darn perfect and I'm not having any problems with it and not missing TouchWiz at all besides maybe dedicated VOIP (originally provided by T-mobile and that I'm looking now for other options).
Either way, would this be possible and would like your opinion if this can even be done? on a S3 Mini GT-i8190?
Thanks,
Sorli...
I am getting a no root privileges error. Nevermind it has to be activated in Developer Settings.
Thanks

Look for the link for "d2lte" - that's the one you want as it's a unified build that supports all US Variants of the Galaxy S3. It's near the bottom of the list in the second column.

Build I'm using is: Slim-d2lte-4.4.2.build.5-OFFICIAL-4053
Only change I've made after restoring my apps what setting the default dpi to 300 that is a little closer to S3s default.
So far working very well even without LTE (not supported by my t999).

Launcher request
Installed the rom seem like everything is working ok. I have been using google launcher theme and like it a lot. Is there a way I could install Google Launcher theme on here. The part that I like about google theme is if you say OK Google the search come up with voice recognition. Thanks
Never mind found it it would included in the rom. Thanks
Does this have the unrestricted tethering mod?
Since it's not a T-Mobile ROM is it even needed?

Great firmware. Just looking for expanded power menu, if there is one.
Thanks been waiting for slim for awhile
The expanded power menu option is in security which is weird, would of never thought to look for it there.

I love this Rom
This Rom is so clean and so far I haven't had any problems. I just came from liquidsmooth 3.0 beta, and that Rom had a strong UI crash problem. This Rom on the other hand is amazing. Clean, responsive, and customization is noted. Can't wait to see up dates.
Such an amazing ROM.. Everything is running very stable.. Loving the smaller ui as well.. However at low battery percentages(15%) it starts struggling a lot? Is this normal? Maybe the kernel I'm using? I'm on slimkat 5.2 with kt747 kernel

Looks like this is the official build 5.0, not the 5.2 weekly build. Flashed it yesterday - finally got sick of all of the bloatware taking up storage space. Everything I've tried seems to be working as it should. I had run slimrom on a T-959 and really liked it. I'm going to have to change the dpi, though. My eyes are too old to enjoy the default.

Not sure what version I'm using since is reports 5.2, but this ROM is still ROCK Solid. Also bumped my DPI to 300 I think and working much much better for another older guy.
Hope to see more from this developer and keep up the great work!!! Sorli...
