I am gonna tell you how to theme your galaxy nexus like window phone
So let's start:
First is the list of app needed for theming
Launcher 8(free)
Wp7 contacts(free)
Wp7 dialer(free)
Wp7 phone(free)
Wp7 mail(free)
Seven+wp7 calculator
A.i. type keyboard(free)
Optional apps:
Icon 7(paid)
Photo safari(laggy) (free + paid)
Soft keyz with busy box installed(paid)
Steps:
Install launcher 8
Move ,change or shrink the tiles
When satisfied download all wp7 apps stated above (available on play store)
When you will press any tile it will ask for the apps, link the downloaded apps with their respective tiles
Install ai keyboard and select windows 8 theme
To make it look more realistic you must enable notification from launcher 8 and disable the notification bar from the desktop and to add more spice try omnirom as it offers cool scroll animation.
Optional:
If you want you can download icon 7 and you can change the icons on the drawer list by going into settings of launcher 8
You can install soft keys and download the windows 8 soft keys from the net(it requires root)
I don't recommend photo safari as it is very laggy.

This is my second WAD2 theme, based on 'White Overlay' by newone757.
The Theme was made on a German ROM and may contain shortcuts to programs you do not have installed, therefore you will have to edit the shortcut paths yourself.
I have also attached additional black icons in case you want to exchange some of my program shortcuts with your own ones.
You can also assign any actions and labels to the softkeys at the bottom. Just open the Author Menu (in Start --> Programs --> WAD) and go to Page --> Properties --> Softkeys.
Feel free to customize the theme to your liking and share your modifications/enhancements with the community!

Thats pretty cool, sorta reminds me of the palmpre in some respects. I did not realise WAD had those sort of animated effects. White theme seems to work in well with the rest of the HD.
I think if you use a Vista like transparency (black - or maybe just a vista glass like effect for the white) combined with some icons on the bottom dock instead of text you would have an even better and awesome theme.
I use to skin WAD/WA myself, tempted to play around with your theme myself. Keep up the awesome work.

Looks very nice mate, but the calender icon is missing. Instead there's a button from the additional icons package. Can you upload the text icon like in your screenshot?

How to install
Install as a normal apk
For rooted phones:
- Download and install the apk. Installation may take about 2-3 minutes as there're many sub apk(s) in it
- Move the .json file from data/overlays/jsonfiles/trialjson into userjson
- Delete preferences folder in data/overlays(don't worry. It will be created again after reboot)
- Reboot
- Apply the theme. If some status bar icons doesn't change correctly, reboot again
For non rooted phones:
- Download and install the apk. Installation may take about 2-3 minutes as there are many sub apk(s) Once you see Install Complete on Homescreen Your Good To go.
- You will need Package Disabler Pro Cost less then $2.00 , can find it in Playstore https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ospolice.packagedisablerpro
-After you got Package Disabler Pro , for the Custom Themes On Here locate it in Theme Center From your phone hit Trial , Then with Package Disabler Pro Look for Theme Store and Theme Disable Both That's it now it will stick, picture below shows you what to disable!

C.A.F. like the name suggest allows you to create contextual folder on your homescreen and access to the right apps and shortcuts just when you need them. The app offers 9 different trigger (e.g. Headset, Bluetooth, GEO Location) to create your custom scenarios and it should also work with Tasker for more advanced stuff. Custom folder styles and color options are also available.

I downloaded this app called Palette by Sam Beckman. Check out from the link in he's name how he applies all the customizations.
It's a great app to get inspired and ultimately customize your phone.

No matter how many times I customize the homescreen, I always come back to this version. Black wallpaper should help with burn in issues, and it's very easy on the eyes at night. Minimal icons on the desktop that take me to my often used apps, and that's about it. ) Nova launcher helped me shape the icons.
