The One supports QuickCharge 1.0&2.0 from Qualcomm. No 2.0 chargers are available yet, and the one that comes with the phone is QuickCharge 1.0. I'd use the one that came with it hands down, as it'll charge much faster than with a normal charger because I don't think the OneX one supports QuickCharge. Use the charger that came with the phone until they release the 2.0 version, then go buy one of those.

Can one x use Samsung 11pin mhl adapter?

I have a galaxy s 3 so I have to use the 11 pin Samsung mhl adapter. My wife has a one x, and I'd like to only have one adapter. Can the one x use the 11 pin Samsung adapter or will that cause issues?
Easiest way to find out is to just give it a try.

Well, I don't have it yet, but wanted to find out before I searched for another solution. Figured someone here has access to both phones and an adapter and has tried.
Am I the only one with both these phones wanting to use this? I have it ordered from Samsung and waiting on it to ship, but it'd be nice to know. I'm going to use this with appradio 2 and arliberator so it's not going to be exactly easy to swap out mhl adapters if it can't be used with the one x.
I've used my Asus transformer charger on my phone and that's 1.2 amp @ 15v with no issues.

I don't think that's the same. I'm referring to this:

All that work 100% with one x?

I am curious about this as well... I have a GN2 and an HTC One coming in the mail this Friday. I'd rather not have to swap them out on my AppRadio2 if I can avoid it.
As long as it has a micro usb male and female and a hdmi port it should work. You need to have it connected to the charger because hdmi uses to much power.
Let us know if it works.

But very slow..!
Check system and BIOS settings. My motherboard actually supports tablet level charging, so long as I enable it on the BIOS. (Called fast charging, but it's 2.1 amp over usb)

I believe our notes would need a USB 3.0 port like the note 3 or am I wrong?

On mine, it has the charging bolt AND the X. I'm not sure what that means.

Samsung, what that means?
Sent from my SM-P600 using Tapatalk
The Charging bolt combined with the red X means it is not a compatible charger. Basically, it means that it will charge the tablet, but VERY slowly. Almost every charger I have thrown at it has worked. The only thing to generate this on the 2014 edition is the USB 3.0 ports on my laptop (also USB 2.0 ports on my desktop as well). I will check and see if I have any settings in the BIOS that will enable some sort of rapid charging. Will report back with anything I find.
Thx waiting your reply

Sorry it took so long to reply, work as been kicking my ass.
I did check the BIOS on my laptop (Toshiba Qosmio X875 purchased in 3/2013) and there are no USB chare setting other than Sleep and Charge (let's the laptop charge USB devices while the laptop is in sleep mode). No rapid charging setting were in the BIOS. Maybe in newer laptops. basically it means that you will need to connect it to a charger or USB port that has a power output of 2,000mA or 2.0A.
Thanks

Quick Charge 3.0

Could I use quick Charge 3.0 on the oneplus 3 by flashing a custom ROM (cyanogenmod?) since the sd820 supports it? I know oneplus has dash charging, but I feel qc3.0 would be better.

No.. op3 does not support quick charge. Company need to buy license for adopting qc 3.0 from qualcom.

Why no 3.0 or 3.1 cable?

I'm have no idea why Samsung packaged their type C 3.1 phone with a USB 2.0 cable and not even a C to C cable for higher transfer speeds. I understand why the Nexus 6P didn't as it didn't have 3.0 integrated, but this is just a strange move.
I'm pretty sure the Note 7 only supports usb 2 speeds.
At least the Exynos version.

USB v3.1, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector
And when plugged into my computer it states that it can run at a faster speed when using the 2.0 cable.
Took me about 13 seconds to transfer a 600MB file to my Note 7 from my desktop... I'm pretty sure it's supporting USB 3.0, but I'm using snapdragon
When i plug mine into a usb 2.0 port it says "transfers would be faster if you plugged into a superspeed port". Snapdragon here too.
