Bluetooth Speakers - Kindle Fire HDX 7" & 8.9" Accessories

So I decided to try bluetooth portable speakers with the Kindle fire hdx 8.9 and am pleased to say that even though it is locked tight in Amazons ecosystem they got the sound output right. Might have less to do with the hdx and more to do with the lepow modre bluetooth speaker I was using though. No stuttering and crystal clear audio quality. Does anyone know if there is a way to change the DSP manager on the HDX 8.9 though?

No issues with bluetooth with my Velodyne vFrees either. As for sound there are a few apps out there that may help.

[Q] headphone jack issue

My kinde fire have noise when i use headphone and listening to music or typing or what ever .
Is there any fix for it ?

What do you mean by "noise"? Do you mean static?
There is a fair bit of static unfortunately with the kindle fire, and you can't do anything about it. You don't notice it that much if you turn up the volume, though.

Just because I am a Senior Member doesn't mean anything.
I do not count myself as higher than anybody else.
Try using a different headphone. But yeah, as the above user said, if you turn up the volume, you won't hear the "noise" aka static. It's a fairly common problem on budget Android devices from Samsung and Motorola.

Fire Tv wont play any videos and doesn't make any sound

Every time I click on any video it say "video fail to play"
It doesn't even make any navigating sounds.
I've already done a factory reset but that hasn't helped me one bit.
Do you have any other HDMI wires to hook to your Fire TV?
Mine gets that issue occasionally, but I can always fix it by using the Ctrl+Alt+Delete hotkeys to reset it.
Don't use any cheap or flimsy wires with the grey or "silver" metal tips because they don't work so well.
I was getting slenderman vibes when using a cheap wire on a Sony NSZ-GS7 I once had because it got evil looking static distortion at random.
I reccommend a Vizio HDMI wire like the one I got on my Fire TV with big savings from Wal-Mart quite a while back.
Or look for any trustworthy brand with a gold-tipped HDMI and 4k support even though the Fire TV can only go up to 1080P.
I swapped hdmi but still had no luck.
I will try the hotkeys you mentioned.

[AFTV2 Gaming Controller] Thoughts on listening to audio through the headphone jack?

I currently have a wired pair of headphones connecting to a bluetooth receiver to listen to audio from the FTV 2 while on my bed. There is some interference and depending on where the receiver is placed, there is an occasional drop in sound for a split second, that reoccurs every 6 seconds.
Thus, my next best option would be to spend $50 on the Amazon's second gen Gaming controller that has the headphone jack. Wifi Direct is better than Bluetooth, but from the recent experience with my 2nd gen remote and there is very limited reviews regarding the audio on the headphone port.
So has anyone that purchased the gaming edition tried out listening to videos / audio / gaming sounds via the headphone jack on the controller?

I've been using the game controller headphone jack connected to a pair of AKG Q701 headphones. It sounds fine, no drop-outs or noise issues, but the level is a bit low. These headphones have low sensitivity and I normally use a booster amp when I connect them to my phone or tablet, so I don't think the low audio level is Amazon's fault. I did test a pair of high sensitivity in-ear headphones on the game remote and they were really loud, but they sound like crap compared to my AKG headphones.
Last night I was was using a pair of Bluetooth Sony headphones with e the Fire TV. They sounded great, but there was a noticeable delay between the video and audio. I did not notice the delay when I used the headphone port on the game remote.

I've been doing this as well. Th sound quality is great, but it sacrifices the controller's battery to the point that it really isn't economical. IF there were a rechargeable battery for the controller (I'm speaking of a controller dock instead of rechargeable AA's) then it wouldn't be a bad option. As it stands it's okay, but not ideal.
Maybe Amazon will come out with a rechargeable battery? Sort of like the XBone controller?

Chromecast audio rocks.

Thought I would just mention for those who may be sitting on the fence about the Chromecast Audio, it absolutely rocks and is far better than any bluetooth solution out there. Tried directly connecting my Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10 headphones into the unit and am pleased to report that the sound quality is first class. I don't know what dac is fitted to the unit but it sounds great.
I agree it is a really cool product. In my case it meant that I didn't need to buy a new networked HiFi from Denon, Marantz etc. I now can cast my music from my phone or laptop. And I can use it to get internet radio through say TuneIn or use a streaming service like Spotify Connect. My Denon DM37DAB has another lease of life.

High Pitched Feedback Using Fire TV Stick with Vizio TV

I apologize if there's already a thread for this somewhere but I couldn't find anything here or on the greater Googlesphere. So, the issue is: when my Fire TV Stick and the TV are both on there's this terrible, whiny feedback noise. I can't really tell for sure but it may be coming from the TV. I've tested for it on a computer monitor at work and couldn't reproduce the noise. I'm wondering if anyone else has ever experienced this issue or if it's unique to me. The noise is NOT a distortion of streaming audio or anything like that, it seems to be produced by hardware somewhere in my setup.
