How to install jb update on xperia s??..

Yesterday i bought xperia s in custom... and there is the updater 4.1.2 I got notification... how to install that update??.. pls help me

You got a notification in the mobile or PC Companion ?
Can you post a screenshot of the same.

[q] firmware help?

Hey guys. I bought an xperia m single sim (c1905) a week ago and rooted as soon as i got it. I wanted more so i tried to unlock the bootloader, but realised that my bl was not unlockable. I read on a few sites online that i can still flash 4.2.2 firmware on my phone. Is this possible with a locked bl? What are the risks involved? If so, is there a download.link for the latest 4.2.2 firmware?
1 more thing, is there any cwm recovery for locked bl?

Yup you can flash the 4.2.2 firmware of Xperia M Dual.
It wont void your warranty as its stock xperia rom only.
You may re flash SS M firmware whenever needed.
No Hou cant have CWM in a locked Bootloader Device.
You can use flash gordan instead to flash zips.

Should I update to 15.1.c.2.8 !!?

I have rooted n unlocked bootloader on XM 1904..
I hv flashed 15.1.c.1.17 ftf I want to upgrade to latest version..
Is there any chances to brick the device?

If you do it carefully there are no chances of brick,
Best way is, go to Sony update service and say repair, it all update to latest FW.

DO NOT USE SONY UPDATE SERVICE OR PCC this will brick your device hard as you have unlocked bootloader and Sony state this in their website you will have to download the ftf from this forum and flash it via flashtools

you can download the ftf & flash it using flashtool

Bro I don't think there's a way and Ota updates aren't available in india, so it's gonna be tough to update without a pc... But still wait for other guy's replies may be they got a way
