Hello , i got Huawei Ascend p6 with B103 firmware Jelly bean 4.2.2 , and i want to upgrade to 4.4.2 Kitkat B506 CN version ,so my quastion is , do i have to upgrade first at B125 ,than to BETA kitkat, than to the official Kitkat b506?
Can some one give me the right suggestion thanks

You can upgrade directly to B506 but make a backup of the stuff you wanna keep otherwise its not completely safe for the data on the phone

hi my p6 build number is P6-U06V100R001C00B130, just wanna know if that is official, i just bought it brand new yesterday, its 4.2.2 emotionui 1.6 and the version says custom version CUSTC433D130
how will i go about rooting and installing custom rom on this?

I got some questions regarding JB and KitKat.
I'm right now using Huawei P6-U06 wit Android 4.2.2 and MIUI-3.12.22 wich is JB and i would like to use Huawei P6-U06 KitKat MIUI V5 4.8.18 by Ry09iu wich is KitKat.
I want to know if I have to first flash back to Stock-ROM B125/B132 and then upgrade to B512 to get KitKat Android and so I can flash the KitKat MIUI 4.8.18 or can I just flash the KitKat MIUI 4.8.18 over my current MIUI 3.12.22 without getting problems?

I want to know which one is best to update first as I am still quite new to the whole android system.
Which one should I update first to prevent issues on my phone?: the android version to kitkat or the EMUI?
Also, does updating the android version change the firmware?

Updating the android does upgrade the emui and changes the firmware too. Strarting from B10x to B132 firmwares are running android jellybean 4.2.2 with emui version 1.6, from B506 to B508x are firmwares with android kitkat 4.4.2 and emui 2.0 (but these are Chinese ones), from B510 to B521 are kitkats with emui 2.3 (international ones) and from B704 and above are kitkats with emui 3.0 (both chinese and international can be found).
