The included shatter proof screen protector

So the Sony Acro S comes with a shatter proof film or screen protector which is supposed to hold the glass in its place if it shatters ? , what good will that do ? now i was thinking of removing it an apply a standard screen protector over the screen, my question is many people say the raw screen is much more responsive (specially the buttons) and the screen appears brighter ? so should i go for it or keep it ?
It will keep the pieces in the phone and thus protect yourself, your children or pets from cuts. You can also probablys use the phone with the cracked screen if all pieces are in place. I got some nasty scratches in mine, so I removed it and ordered a gadgetshieldz screen protector. Can't say I noticed any difference with factory protector off...
Installation of the new protector was easy, since the phone is water resistant.

Moto 360 cover glass question

Does anyone know what Motorola might charge to replace the glass face on the watch? I read that if your watches damaged in any way you can get it replaced for $99 at Motorola but there was no mention of just doing a glass change in case of a big scratch. I just put a Illumishield screen protector on which is quite nice even if a little difficult to get perfectly even.

[Q] screen protector

Hi,
I'm gonna get a zenwatch for my B-day , just want to know if a screen protector is recommended?
and any more tips are more then welcome!
Thanks!
I wouldn't bother - Gorilla glass is tough and it stays very clean.
Several have reported scratches on their glass, if you're ok with that then go without one. I use Skinomi TechSkin screen protectors on mine, they seem to work ok.
I have the XtremeGuard protector on mine. I love it
I got a zagg invisible shield for mine, and it's good. Can't tell it's on there really, which is always what I like to see. I would never use a phone or other mobile device without a screen protector, scratches drive me crazy.

The gorilla glass 3 is almost impossible to scratch. I often advise people to remove screen protectors on phones as well. Taking out my pocket knife and violently running it over the screen produces some shocked faces and instantly convinces people

You can use ZAGG - HD Screen Protector for Asus Zenwatch. It features a scratch-resistant design that guards against damage. The screen protector allows easy interaction with your watch's touch screen.

Screen durability?

About to get the g4, debating on whether i should get a screen protector or not, how scratch resistent is the screen? Also i think my carrier puts screen protectors on when they give the phone like they did to my lg g2, are pre installed screen protectors good?

IQ Shield Screen Protector LG G8 ThinQ

I have been using these protectors on my devices since the screens became curved. Today this one was put to an extreme test. Slipped right out of my hand, slammed onto the top step of concrete, proceeded to bounce down 3 more steps, landing face down. Only damage was done to the screen protector! I do have a case too, but that didn't sustain any damage. So just replace the protector, and get on with life. If it had been naked, or even a glass protector, my screen and/or protector would have shattered. So I will stand behind these lifetime warranty protectors forever. ?
