About Theme
Based on Windows phone Metro UI.
Port the theme as much as you like.

Theme is optimized for resolution of 768x1280. But might work on any device since TWRP can resize it now.
How to use:
Download the theme of your choice and rename it to "ui.zip".
On SD card open TWRP folder and create a folder called "theme" (case sensitive).
Copy ui.zip to 'theme' folder.
Reboot into recovery.

v2.85.0 - 04.03.2015
Total rework and is based on latest original theme, so all features works.
v1.1 - 01.05.2014
Updated Back button.
Updated Strings.
Added Padding strings that touches right edges of screen.
Redesigned File manager: Added App bar, added new folder option. Added new folder option while copying/moving file/folder.
Timezone: removed "set time" button. Now Time zone changes directly from the lists and switch. Moved 24-h setting to time zone page.
Added AppBar to settings page: Moved "Restore Defaults" button to AppBar. Added About page.
Fixed Console button not working when pages are overlayed. Tapping it again now dismisses Console.
Combined backup and restore at home. Added "New Backup" option to AppBar in Backup+Restore page.
Changed background of Slideout console.
Increased list size to touch bottom (navbar).
Redesigned Terminal Command. Added AppBar to keyboard.
Removed auto reload theme on changing accent. Now, recovery need to be manually restarted. (This prevents reset of theme's settings)
Improved navbar divider.
Clean up.
A lots of little improvement in XML and pngs.
v1.0 - 22.04.2014
Initial release.

Now that is something unique. Well done.
How many pngs did you add for the battery icon? One hundred?
Wait. I'll have a look under the hood...
EDIT
Yeah, that makes more sense...:highfive:

This theme is freaking awesome!!
I notice that it does not support multi-rom menus.
Is there any plan to bring support?

Beautiful work!

Only 10-11.
Any suggestions, master?
Do you have all the devices for which you make themes for? I mean one for each resolution.
How you resize the theme? Any faster trick or way?

I'd say you've mastered theming TWRP yourself, this is very well done.
I played with it on my Nexus7. Couldn't find any glitches, very polished.
I like the way one changes categories and how unavailable functions are greyed out. The only visual nuisance is the windows logo...
I wish the TWRP guys would make swiping available as an action that could be used to change pages, would make our lives much easier...
As for testing, I use the old Nexus 7 for testing 720/768/800x1280 themes, and Nexus 5 and 7(2013) for the other ones.
My so called workflow is rather clumsy, I have no way of doing things with scripts or batches. This is becoming the limiting factor to what I can do, as even simple updates involve a lot of repetetive manual labour.
However, keep up the good work :good:

Should I replace windows logo with android face?
Yup, swiping feature will be great. I once talked with TWRP founder, he said the priority level of UI is very low for them. They focus on stability and porting it to another devices.
He said, as it is open source, you can add the features you want yourself.
I know Java, but not C++. But it is not so different. My plan is to learn it soon and add few more features like TTF font support..
Hmmmm, that's the problem, we cant make scripts that do the Photoshop work.

awesome

This is amazing work!!

is f....ing ugly....buhuhuuuu

JUST replace the windows logo with flat n square Microsoft logo

Having been studying custom .netcf control for several days
gr8 realese.!
You want to say that terrible and long process of resizing/porting is in the past?
And it can resize only new packages like from Leo and Rhodium, which have grafics coordinates stored in .xml, am I right?
Will wait for release

I believe this is a developer tool, ie netcf library for use with visual studio or similar program. This should enable developers to make applications universal to all resolutions that will flow nicely with manila interface. Very interested to see, as I am trying to learn a bit of programming myself. For resizing new packages that use xml I suggest programatix' xmlgui tool
cant wait to see some applications developed or updated with this. if it is easy enough to use, I would love to make some to replace some of the custom mortscripts that I am using in my ROMs now
wow really nice! i'll try it!
thanks!
I know people hate these kinds of questions, but any news on how SOON the coming soon is?
waiting for release...thank you so much, this will be very useful!

Awesome Man,
I'm trying it rught now.
Only missing a textbox. If we have and a textbox it will be great!
Good work one more time!!
Sweet. Thanks very much. I didn't expect it this soon.
Beautiful! I think this is the one thing WinMo is missing - a decent standardisation of UI controls
This is awesome! As soon as I get some cash, I will donate for this. I tested it out, and it works like a charm. Keep it up. For the love of God, KEEP IT UP!
Move over Iphone! Here comes WinMo!
OK, I am trying to work something with this...
How do I check if an item in the listbox is selected? Thanks.
BTW: This control also works with Windows Apps as well.

You are the man. You deserve to be in the windows mobile history books. Excellent contributions to WinMo community!
I noticed the rate it which it scrolls though is very slow on my Omnia. Is this something that will be corrected?
Any idea when we can see some documentation on this? Thanks again!

Really weel done! But there is some work left to do...
I tried the Checkbox button. The text entered int the text property isn't displayed eihter in design mode or runtime mode,
Furhtermore, the control looks ok as long as the backgrounde is white, but not as goowd when (as in my case) having a background whit another color or a picture.

Welcome to .NET You'll need to override your OnPaint method to get semi-decent background images without either flicker or that white you're seeing. Another thing which MS will take years to implement no doubt.

Not sure how I managed this already!
Added a note, then went back to edit title, confirm save box appeared behind onscreen keyboard, hid keyboard and the confirm change popup disappeared and app crashed.
Other than that, nice simple app.

I reckon the only thing this little app needs is to be added as a tab in manila, that'll make it perfect!

Unfortunately this is quite difficult and beyond my ability... Hopefully at some point HTC will redesign Manila with plug-ins in mind. Until then... we can only bug them to do it!
Other languages might be a good addition
Thought this would have a Manila look and feel. Still, good work.
Shame you're going to end development here as I know a lot of users would like a more workable and full-featured task management in Leo.
Priority levels and due dates are now included in the new version

I hope HTC will open manila up a bit more to the devs. I know in theory how to do it, but it's a lot of work like you say. If I had the time I might have a bash at it. First job will be to tweak the layout xml (mode9). Anyways...
Very nice app! Maybe you could add a simple category editor and the possibility to pick a category from a drop down box when you edit a task.
I like the layout.

Categories for the time being are generated automatically based on what can be found in tasks... A nicer editor is my current priority though
A really nice application. Congrats. I would love to be able to use selected text options in the edit field (long press in the memo box) so I could copy, cut and paste. This is something I really miss and everybody too.
Additionally it would be great if you could scroll with your finger not using the vertical scrollbar but directly in the text (just like you can in Message Compose in Manila)
Great app.
Great!
Hi All,
This app looks simple and spot on in my mind. Cannot imagine why HTC has left out task capabilities in HTC Sense (and why the standard today plugin task app in windows mobile is so basic)... anyway: this would make out the perfect fit for me, IF it had possibility to filter out future tasks (so that only todays due - or overdue tasks would be shown). Great work anyway!
... but "please please" as for the filtering option
/Lars

Oh my, not another tab in Manila! Information about tasks on the Home tab that is clickable and allows to launch an appropriate application is the way to go for sure.

[ICONS/MODS] [3-1-12] Icons and Nav Mods **ANOTHER HUGE UPDATE**

Hey all. Here are all of the icon sets I have made thus far. They all come in FULL sets. They are *NOT* flashable zips, just regular ones. These are probably best used with Nova Launcher or your alternative launcher of choice.. I will add more as often as I make them.
Enjoy and hit that thanks button if you like my work
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
POST 1: Premium Icons
POST 2: Basic Icons
POST 3: Navbar Mods
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
**I'm always open for requests**
Please private message me with your request and I guarantee a reply within 24 hours.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Thanks to NatemZ (RW) for creating the sexy Rootzwiki wallpaper I package with most of these sets. Make sure to thank him!
-Thanks to Fawkes (RW) for finding a working method to replacing your system apps with mine so they will even show up in you app drawer and so on. Make sure to thank him!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*These sets are NOT flashable zips! Extract them with something like Root Explorer*
Instructions:
-Method One (Easiest, but does NOT replace system icons or show up in app drawer): Download the zips from the links to your sd card. Use an app like Root Explorer or AndroZip to extract the contents of the zip. In Nova launcher (or whichever one you use), long press the chosen icon and hit "edit" when the little menu pops up. Browse via gallery or root explorer to said extracted icon. Apply. Enjoy.
-Method Two (Advanced, Replaces system app icons):
*I am not responsible for anything you do to your phone. You do this at your own discretion*
1. Perform the all important Nandroid backup. Just in case...
2. Download the icon set of your choice to your SD card.
3. Use Root Explorer to copy the .apk file of the app you want to edit to your sdcard.
4. Unzip the app.
5. Copy the icon of your choice to the res/drawable folder of said extracted app.
6. Rename the old "ic_application.png" (original icon file) file to ".old" (or whatever)
7. Rename the new icon to the same thing as the old one (ic_application.png)
8. Rezip the entire app up, and then rename it from .zip, to .apk
9. Place the app back into the system/app or data/app folder that you pulled the app from originally.
10. Reboot
11. Place the icon back on the homescreen if you want it there.
12. ...
13. Profit!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Textual (sexual text): Contains 94 white text based icons made with the beautiful ICS Roboto font.

I am actually in the process of that right now! I'll be adding to almost all of the sets here shortly, as well as I'll be adding a bunch of new sets and bringing my softkey mods here as well.
Also, I will be updating the OP later tonight with a BUNCH of new sets, updated links as I switched my hosting to goo-inside, Metamorph/Zipthemer softkey mods, and a far cleaner format!
I would also like to apologize to the XDA Galaxy Nexus community as I haven't done my part to maintain this thread and keep you guys updated. I promise from this point forward that will no longer be the case.
Stay tuned guys! I'm about to open the floodgates on a collective 92 hours worth of themeing and mods.
If anyone gets curious and doesn't feel like waiting, download the goo-inside.me app from the market and find me under the devs section. All of my icons and navmods are there

I'm not expert but I had played around with the multitask when I'm using Nexus S.
I learnt something from the tutorial by evilisto's, the WP7 style/stock browser tab/chrome browser tab multitask
In order to get better preview image, something should be modified in the framework-res.apk
I made my own version too
Actually I'm just too lazy to look into your zip so I ask you the exact files you edited and it saves my time
Anyway, thanks

In order to get better preview image, something should be modified in the framework-res.apk
I made my own version too
Actually I'm just too lazy to look into your zip so I ask you the exact files you edited and it saves my time
Anyway, thanks

What I mean is the quality of app preview image, the version you made can be improved, only two values need to be modified in framework-res.apk
The version I made is for Nexus S and I just got my Galaxy Nexus few days ago, may work on it and share when it's done
In my opinion l, to personalize anything in Android, the first priority is to make it more convenient, in this case, the multitask
* Maximize the number of app previews in the screen for fast switching with less chance to slide and search
* Maximize the size of app previews and we can distinguish them with ease
* The above two points oppose to each other so there is balanced point
By following this policy, it's better design a theme to match the best layout instead of modifying the layout to match the theme

Yes i ment the app preview quality too..
But i must agree with you but in this case it wasnt my purpose
To do that.. i just made a theme to an option that was already there

[THEME][4.3]SC86's Nocturnum beta FullDux Mod [2-22-14]

Android v4.3
I started modding the DUX theme I found for the Galaxy S4. Right now, its base is the DUX, but I've Modded a lot of the icons and things you see a lot while using your device throughout the day. Notification icons. Status bar icons. Power menu icons. Framework background. Etc.
I've also changed some user app icons that you may use. If you use these apps and want them Modded as well, before you flash the zip you must convert those apps to system apps from within titanium backup, or whichever app you'd like.
These are the apps which I have Modded so far :
Ttorrent
Tmo visual voice mail
Lux
Power amp
There is also an icon change for the dark version of gmail I have installed from the dbmods aroma installer.
Will mod more as time passes, and I'm going to try to figure out how to avoid converting them.
I'm continuing to build this theme, and plan on having Modded it in its entirety within the next couple months.

This is for 4.3?

Yes. 4.3
This should be in themes.
Looks good tho. Nice work
Theme is looking great. Very nice work! Icons are sharp and well defined. Did notice that the settings check boxes (when unchecked) have a black gap in the box frame (where the check mark goes when enabled). Driving mode and blocking mode notifications are also white when enable. Maybe a little less clear on the notifications backdrop and some options in switching keyboard colors and backgrounds. This being a BETA thread, I thought I would mention these for improvement in the future.
TIA for the work put into this.
Thanks for the info.
The keyboard will be changed. As will the dialer n contacts. I'm still in beginning stages.
If your talking about the check box having a small gap in the top right when unchecked. It's supposed to be that way. However, I DID notice when it's pressed down, there's a different type of icon it calls to. I'm going to have those check boxes throughout the entire ui and Framework including the settings.
I haven't messed with the blocking mode or driving mode Notification icons. Never use them myself, but I'll look into it. Shouldn't be an issue since that's system app territory.
I haven't learned how to compile a flashable zip from scratch yet. When I do, I don't think I'll have to have people convert apps to system apps in order to theme them. They don't flash the same way with the zip I have. Still learning, and still working on the theme.
I'll be updating it frequently, since I'm basically tuning it to my device as I go. I do a little each day. In order to track specific things I want to change, takes time digging through the system folders, although at this point I've got a pretty good idea where things go.
I did post a thread in the themes section though, it's link is in my signature, This thread can be closed if a mod gets around to it.

Where you get the floating keyboard?
Sent from my SGH-M919 using xda premium
Samsung keyboard. hold the button on the bottom left, one key to the right of the "Sym" key.
Choose the floating keyboard option. You can change that button to pull up the mic, the keyboards, the hand writing pad and even the clip board.
