[Q] Request: BLU Advance 4.0 - Paranoid Android Q&A

*Ahem*
Hello everyone. I'm rather new to the android hacking scene and I've got a few questions for those who might be bothered to answer. First off, the BLU advance 4.0 doesn't seem compatible with anything. From custom bootloaders to custom roms.
I've found next to no information regarding compatible interfaces with this phone. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a bastion of roms and applications that I've simply been unable to find?
I would really love to load custom roms onto this phone, I've got it rooted and everything is set and ready to go. I just can't seem to find any compatible roms :/
I appreciate all help, thank you guys so much in advance.
Currently Running:
Android 4.2.2
Custom Build Version:
BLU_A270a_V06_GENERIC

Your device is unsupported mate!
Hopefully you can find someone to help you with cooking a rom for your needs!

This forum section is dedicated to the Paranoid Android team and ROM. Your device is not supported by this rom or team, so you would be better off finding a generic devices section here on XDA to make your request.

[Q] Installing custom ROMS

Hi,
I wanted to ask some quick questions about custom ROMS.
I have the Desire HD.
Firstly, is there a review of ROMS available for the DHD anywhere?
I know there's a list of ROMS in the wiki here, but how up to date is that list? and which is better?
Can any ROM work on any android phone? or are the ROMS specific to each handset?
and is there a ROM for android 2.3 that works on the DHD?
Ive seen some guides for installing custom ROMS, but Im nervous about following them because they're not DHD specific.

Please try reading the development forum here and particularly this thread and you should be set
You'll need to use specific ROMs for each handset. I was a bit nervous at first but all went well and I'm glad I did this process because my phone is just so much snappier now!
Ok here is a review.
Leedroid is awesome.
Android revolution is great.
Cyanogenmod 7 is buggy but shows much promise for the future.

Thanx for the info

What is the best Custom Rom?

Hi All,
I just got the galaxy nexus and I'd like to root it and get a custom rom. I'm totally new to android phones (although I have android tablets) and have no clue which custom rom will work best. I know of cyanogenmod. But there seems to be many others and I am wondering what at the moment is the best, most stable, newest build etc custom rom for the phone?
Any help and possibly some download things would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1402341
This is smooth among the available ROMs.
Hope it helps.
My advice is simple... Try them all! then pick what is right for you. There are change logs and other info in the roms OP that address things that work and things that have issues. I tried a few and landed on the Gummy rom so far it has suited my needs.

Thanks a lot! Looks like a nice rom. I noticed the android version is 4.03. I have seen/read different articles on 4.04 and 4.05. I'm curious if there are any stable roms with the newest versions around. Might be too early though and I don't want to have a buggy rom.

[Q] Compatible MODS and Kernels with Android Revolution HD19/ARHD19

Hi guys,
The purpose of this thread is not only to help me, but also to help others find what I'm/we're looking for and to get the ROM more users.
Thanks in advance and appreciated, If ever we reach a certain progress, I'll make sure to make a list of compatible mods and kernels for this rom at the theme etc. section.

New at this help

I want to start to build ROMs my self. Just like from a base ROM. Where should I start? Is there some stuff I can read or watch to get me started. Any help would be much appreciated.
This is what started me down the path http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2662325
This guide is great because it's device specific and offered by the world's most popular ROM
http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Build_for_e980
This would be great to familiarize yourself with the building environment. Keep in mind PA and some other ROMs love to do it their own way and are more complicated. But most ROMs are similar to CyanogenMod in my experience.
Cheers

[Q] would Paranoid Android run on a Verizon Enlighten phone?

Hi,
Question for everyone - will the Paranoid Android rom run on a Verizon Enlighten? I have been trying to figure out the minimum requirements and admit I can't find them anywhere. I am currently running the bloated stockrom v2.3.4, although I do have root and rom manager installed. I would LOVE to be able to replace it from what I have read I think I would like this running - it looks pretty cool. Any info you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Well, minimum requirements for an official release would be an officially supported device. Nexus, Oppo, OnePlus. Your device meets none of those requirements.
If you want an unofficial build, you need to find a developer with your device (good luck with that)
