Yes i flash it with mobileuncle but nothing.....again Chinese recovery...

If ur mobileuncle have root access suppost it can be done. Try rename to recovery.img then reflash again or use flash tool to flash it..

i guess what you're seeing is not a full recovery but a prerecovery test menu, the same as for me. The cwm is there, i am able to acces it through android with restart to recovery function.

i dont get u?? meaning your phone come with precwm?
yes. it has a Chinese language menu that comes up when i press vol up and Power button. i can acces the regular cwm only through restart to recovery menu from within android

Hello guys
Well i have just received my phone yesterday and im back on the modding part.
Sooo happy that there are people out there already developing for this phone.
Problem is, i downloaded the recovery, from both links, tried to flash it with mobiluncle tools, it took 2 seconds, maybe its to fast and its not really flashing??
rebooted to recovery and i can only see 2 lenovo logos overlapping and in the lower screen text saying Recovery mode.
It hangs a few seconds and then reboots normally. but no recovery.
Then tried to flash with flashtool. same story.
i could never access the original recovery anyway, it just said no command.
all information on the phone or other apps says unknown recovery, is this normal when its a stock recovery?
Any other ideas? need help, this phone is awesome so far, except for the internal memory, its too small and i have all of the phone memory doing nothing, i have my sd card, but i wanted to mod it in the first place to make the internal memory partition bigger.
Anyway this is not the thread to talk bout that, but any help with flashing this recovery?

hi.. if the recovery file name to long just replace it as recovery.img.. make sure ur mobileuncle grant root. it should be fine.. as many user can flash it..
there is 2 model out there.. A850p and a850i.. make sure its a850p because its not for a850i.

I own a Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 ( GT-I8610)
I installed JellyBean on it, and now I think I made a mistake.
Its official version, but my phone since the update is much slower and it laggs :/ If i want to open cam - i have to wait like 5 seconds untill it opens and then 5 more until controls appear...
Tried to put back 2.3.6 but after flashing GB phone just gets stuck in bootlog and I cant do factory reset or anything.
Is there maybe any other way how to optimize speed of my device leaving the JellyBean on it ? Maybe some good custom roms or something ?
Because I mostly need a FAST DEVICE not one that looks good with the new UI etc... and is so damn slow.
P.S. Tried rooting and removing bloatware - no effect. still works slow as hell.

When I flash my phone to GB I cant go in to recovery mod. It just has this loading icon wich freezes and thats all.. (same happens when i simply turn on the phone.)

Ok,at that time (after restoring) just flash the recovery.zip of ur mobile before rebooting.
Then try reboot ..:thumbup:

first try to boot into recovery mode, if not then try to do so via temp recovery
after that wife factory/data/ca* etc
then slash it via your stock GB rom,if you have,if not then you will have to download the rom.

if you fastboot option,then you can by cmd
fastboot boot cwm.img
where cwm.img is your supported recovery:angel:

use odin tool
& download Android_AIO_Flasher from this forum & use the different options to restore in good state
there you can find the fastboot option reboot too. just try it.

or you can use my zip file for you,just run the batch via admin
& it will do rest
what you need to do is
copy the working recovery.img in c drive by making a folder named adb & rename that recovery to cmw.img
now extract the zip content to that folder & run the fastboot.bat file via admin
if it supports fastboot then it will load into that recovery mode,then do your operation.

can you still access download mode? if so, flash jb and then a custom rom(cm10/cm10.1). if you prefer gb, use this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2141930, i dont believe you did(used the guide) because i didnt get a bootloop.

I would love to flash CM but It hasnt been released for Ace 2 yet.. only unofficial release which has some major bugs.
And link in there doesnt work :/

But i thought the procedure was bit lengthier and complicated
So, posting a simple and another easy way
1. Get Flashify app from playstore or any other source dosn't matter.
2. Download lewa recovery from https://www.mediafire.com/?3j3la130jydk4s9
3. Flash the recovery then with flashify app.
4. Then download the rom from http://bbs.lewaos.com/down_detail.php?id=94
5. copy the rom to sd card
6. boot into recovery and flash the rom.
7. Bingo! you have flashed the first ever custom rom for your nokia x now.:good:

you dont have to select twrp or cwm you just have to:-
1. go to flashify app
2. click on flash header then click on recovery option
3. then there would be three options (choose file ,cwm ,twrp) click on choose a file.
4. then select lewa_recovery_nokia_x.img from your sd card.
5. enjoy the lewa recovery.

Flashing back to stock rom through nokia care suit just takes 5mins after you have the rom downloaded.
for now thats the easiest way.
Its a very beautiful rom indeed.
Two little problem
It automatically unmount sd card
Phone dialer is laggy.
no multi tasking at all... every program restarts if u press the home button...
this is developer edition not a daily drive yet....

solution for bad zip :
fine.. u must hav unlocked bootloader, rooted and custom recovery like cwm 6.0.4.x..
if its ok then verify your downloaded zip
..
this can be done by double clicking it on windows or in your mobile use file explorer..
if the zip contains meta-inf folder, system, boot. img.. then your download was good.. otherwise re download it..

check if recovery is working or flash a custom recovery via fastboot and do three wipes..
and did u just flashed the oem nd logo or the complete rom? if not, try flashing the complete ROM with replaced files

after flashing rom ur oem gets locked.. if u have already unlocked, now root the mob again...
if that isn't the prob, as i already said, verify your file in memory card if it s properly downloaded nd copied

well the cwm currently does not support flashing zip from sd card.. try adb side load if u hav unlocked bootloader and rooted..
if u don't want to do adb sideload, try flashing philz cwm.. its working perfectly..

Kitkat overwrites recovery on every reboot. So here is the solution:
When you flash cwm via ODIN, untick the auto-reboot option. Let the odin flash the file and wait for pass message.
Now reboot directly to recovery (not to phone). You will be in cwm. From there you can reboot to your phone.
Now power off your phone and see if you have a cwm recovery.
Press thumps up if you found this suggestion helpful.

Well that is certainly weird. Are you sure you are using correct cwm file. Can you put the link of cwm file you are using?

Ok, here is the problem , you must root your phone first and after you can install a recovery like Philz or TWRP.

I am trying to do everything here on this thread and the first thing he said is that i need to have CWM Recovery first installed before rooting or doing anything

A custom recovery is necessary to install a custom rom but you can rooted your phone with Odin PC and CF-Auto-Root-t03g-t03gxx-gtn7100.zip
For example there is an explanation here :http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/galaxy-note2-n7100-root-android43-xxuemk4-jellybean-523833.
You can find others in google with search "how to root samsung galaxy note 2" .
The most important before installing is to copy your important folder to your PC.

Okay guys i have installed Root on my phone using these two threads

Now what i should do actually because my problem still remain , that i cant install CWM and it keep reboot into Android not Recovery and i have tried all the methods but nothing works for me so far still

didnt work because the twrp doesnt install well and this is the key for root the phone, i need a twrp work fine anyone have something.

What problem do u face?
Didn't u unticked auto reboot in odin menu?

I install with Odin twrp and the Odin finish and reboot de phone automatic, i turn off de phone and star in recovery mode but the initial in de original recovery not in twrp if i did anything wrong i dont know, i saw you question i´m not unticket auto reboot do you thing this is the problem?

Yeah, you will need to untick auto reboot and then manually u will need to go in recovery. Dont boot in system after flashing twrp bcz it will overwrite twrp with stock recovery. Once you boot in recovery then ur twrp will be permanently flashed...
Btw, is ur battery removable?

Then it is very easy.
First, when flashing through odin, make sure you untick auto reboot. Then, once it is flashed, and you gets pass message on twrp, remove the usb cable and them remove and reinsert thev battery. Now boot into recovery. Make sure you boot into recovery not in system... Now you will be booted in twrp. Now from twrp reboot in system. Now twrp would have been permanently flashed :fingers-crossed:

you had the file then you install TWRP with Odin in your phone in the forums have the instrction for that

So I just need this file "recovery.tar.md5" from the apnea that you linked?
Did you used the guide posted above, the one that you said didn't work?
Oh, and what about the USB drivers for the Sm-j250m?
I can't enter on developer mode... touch compilation or others info don't active... only build number showing the android animation
