For any development to commence, the phone must be available to buy first..................as of now it is only available in Taiwan, China and Romania with an Indian release just around the corner.

Hi
since I can't find any news or informations regarding to CM 10.2 releases for the Nexus 7 DEB (the LTE one)... are there any news available? Are sources already released by Google or what's going on with that release?
After using CM for some years, I can't stay with stock Android for no longer

Which cyanogenmod build (official or unofficial) to use ?

Hello,
I tried to search "cyanogenmod" in this forum but the search engine crashed repeatedly. So let me post my question here.
I plan to purchase the Samsung Galaxy note 10.1 2014 (SM-P600) for mainly hand writing notes purpose. I also would like to install cyanogenmod (even if it voids the warranty),
but although this device is within the officialy supported device list, there is still no stable release for it, just nightly ones.
Within the developer section of this forum, I saw several cyanogenmod threads where some unofficial roms are proposed. So my question is : which cyanogenmod rom to install ? preferably the most stable one and with a working S-pen.
I would be grateful to one developer to lead me towards a working rom for this device.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Best regards

Flash the unofficial release. Official CM doesn't have proper device support and never will. Also, don't upgrade the stock rom to Lollipop in order to keep the KitKat bootloader. The Lollipop bootloader causes CM not to play well with the s-pen.

Actually cyanogenmod changed their minds and just updated to our new repos just a few hours ago so you should be able to grab the next official build of CM13 when it gets released.

MIUI Developer ROM update frequency

Hi all, I have been making use of the developer ROMs from the official site because they tend to be much more stable than the nightly betas and also have an optional fastboot version available for download which I prefer.
The frequency of these developer releases have been weekly or fortnightly until the 19th of last month (April).
I was just wondering if anyone had some inside information on when the next possible release for developer ROM would be and if they know if it will include the newly seen Android P-style appearance of the May 11th nightly beta.
Hanging out for the 19th of this month as maybe they've changed the release frequency to monthly but I got the feeling they were dropping it momentarily to work on the Mix 2s. Any information would be wonderful! :good: :good:
Edit: Found my answer, Xiaomi has discontinued further development builds as of April 26. News that next release will be MIUI 10. https://gadgets.ndtv.com/mobiles/news/miui-9-development-xiaomi-discontinued-miui-10-1843365

If it's the China dev rom you are on then the official releases have been postponed until june.
The new UI will probably be officially released then, but miui 10 is also around the corner.

[Q] mix 2 updates

Hello.
Does someone know why xiaomi mi mix 2 doesn't have support from the manufacturer ? The last update is from 01.08.2018 ,this is not an old phone,it's a flagship.Does someone know the real reason?Anybody have any news about pie ?
That's the reason I decided to go for a custom ROM. I had a Huawei P8 before mix2 and their support was a piece of s..t too. The worst about that was that there was almost no custom rom development become of Kirin.. I am glad I have SD device now because I can make decisions I couldn't before. If you want to be up to date with security updates, use a custom ROM. They are built by developers that do care about your device ?
A Miui 10.2 update is currently in the making. The China ROM already received this update like a week ago. Global Stable update should be coming soon.

That link has a anotatation next to our device. If you scroll down you will see that Android 11 is excluded from the One Action if sold in the united states and Canada. I'm in the US so I will need to install A custom Rom.
I saw that as well, but am hoping that maybe I will be able to flash an international rom sometime ion the future. I had an HTC M9 that started as a US phone but flashed an international ROM to it. Will see what transpires.
