You can select the ART runtime by enabling developer options. Go to settings --> About Phone --> and tap build number about 8 times. The runtime options will be in developer options.

I haven't tried Samsung stock KitKat. But, you can still enable developer options in the same fashion in Samsung ROMs.
Oh, and to get more to the heart of your question, I am running Paranoid Android at the moment and it does have the option to enable ART.

As soon as I figure out the flashing problem with the 4.4 stock rom, I'll be working on bringing MOAR up to kitkat.

on that Tablet UI thread,you can sift through the pages and find a flashable zip version for CM9 ALpha 6...that's if you don't like to use adb to do your deeds...I'm going to just flash it in recovery right after I flash the rom then gapps....let me know if it works out for you bub!

Can you use this with themes like Purple Kush (which is the cat's pajamas, btw!)? I'm also running a nightly, are they still compatible?

Sure. When I was using the tab mod, most themes worked flawlessly.

Haha, I saw this started a few days ago and decided not to start on the burn wagon. I love the responses of those who did and by those who did it.
There is one theme that I know doesn't work on the tablet. That's the Crimson Cobalt for CM9 and AOKP...that one will send all kinds of crap spinning.

for me it opens chrome and stock browser both at same time . i just want the stock one to open but it open stock and then chrome above it. so irritating.
If you are getting a update for the new att rom and can't get rid of the notification make sure to freeze this att software update

The modem will flash fine ...
The kernel will not ...
Just to set the record straight for other new users who may stumble onto this thread.
The UCAMC3 zip files will flash over the top of the UCAMA4 builds correctly ...but only if they are touch wiz roms ..
The kernel will soft brick any AOSP/AOKP builds...
The radio image is fine for any ATT based build...g

fade out, fade in. Or in other words it will be

Stock Animation included in download section if you want
to revert back to stock.....
First make sure you have a backup just in case something goes

You can try it on AOSP.....but the Stock Animations is TW. So I dont know if it will work or not bro....
