if threads get closed it may or may not be justified. I know of some significant cases of wrongful thread closing/moving etc.. Since so much stuff gets deleted here, one must be forgiven if s.o. cannot read up to certain cases, such as CIPS GOHKLE. so what was the problem there ?

i know your intension and you are just helping bro. but the mods have rules in closing threads and they gave their reasons why they are closing some threads. some cm7 thread where closed because its for development only and it became a off topic and Q &A thread and the OP have no further development in porting the rom. maybe mods only teach us how to be a responsible member here in xda.I know you know what i'm talking about you are a senior member in xda. thanks..

Great one mai thanks for the thread, and about news yes you right
Well if you look at most of the Dev threads here 50 out of 60 pages are people asking for updates or or saying wow this is great.
They are probably being closed to teach a lesson. Not that anyone will learn.

Is cm9 based on ext4.

Xperia ion needs more roms

Dear devs,
Could you help us port more roms to xperia ion
Sent from my Xperia ion using xda app-developers app
Obviously not. Not every section has lots of developers. You can't do anything about it.
Thread closed and moved to Q&A.

Xperia Ion users: Time to stand up. Let's ask for an update.

My guess that most Xperia Ion users are fed with the lack of updates for our device. While Xperia S, SL and Acro S had gotten the 6.2.B.1.96, we are still stuck on the 6.2.B.0.211. Yes. It's smooth and fluid. But the 1080p video bug and the volume up issue are getting on my nerves.
I request all Xperia Ion users to create an account and ask at their support forum. That's the only way Sony can hear us.

I had tried it long ago.
But it seems they just ignore us. No official person or moderator replied to my query.

[Q&A] [DEVELOPERS-ONLY]CyanogenMod 12 EARLY Builds Discussions

Q&A for [DEVELOPERS-ONLY]CyanogenMod 12 EARLY Builds Discussions
Some developers prefer that questions remain separate from their main development thread to help keep things organized. Placing your question within this thread will increase its chances of being answered by a member of the community or by the developer.
Before posting, please use the forum search and read through the discussion thread for [DEVELOPERS-ONLY]CyanogenMod 12 EARLY Builds Discussions. If you can't find an answer, post it here, being sure to give as much information as possible (firmware version, steps to reproduce, logcat if available) so that you can get help.
Thanks for understanding and for helping to keep XDA neat and tidy!

Good luck every developers!

Barra needs to learn that the GPL is a "constraint that [he] has to live with".
Well, the code is almost here, we can soon have lollipop
There is a video released ..in which he flips the device, its surely not Redmi 2
Will Syhost share his work?
Do you guys think that Syhost will share his work with other devs?
It's Pre Rooted
Activate the developers option and select Apps and ADB in the root access.
I flashed this ROM and my device keeps boot looping.
Tried it several times and have also wiped system before flashing.
Cm11 works fine.

Any help is much appreciated.

I don't think we need a thread like this before CM12 nightlies start rolling out. By then it would be dhacker29 or maybe ATTACK, not you, taking care of the thread.

I would assume the reason a post to inform people of the availability of a nightly build would not be useful for you as you may have already known...
I have no intention to maintain anything, only yo provide this information.
If yourself or anyone has the ability to setup a nightly build for us I would greatly appreciate it.

And info ≠ development.
I'm not saying this shouldn't be posted, just not in Android Development, where people share what they made or what others made *under their permission* (<- I emphasize this because we've had someone "maintaining" a CM12 thread in the Galaxy Mega forums and sharing private links without any permission).
Then again, we have a discussion thread in General, so the info might already be widespread enough.
