Hi.
Do you want it to connect to the internet?
If so, Do you have the web services? Like Website and ....
Or the developer should make it?
If you have the Website or you don't want it to connect to the internet, I'll make it for less than 550$ and in less than a week.
With very good graphics.

I can suggest you a company that provide android app development services that is Code Brew Labs. They can surely create this app for you.

If you have some art skills and no program skills, simply use software like 'Construct2' to develop this app yourself. Takes you about 99$ and some time

500$ with material design and all new stuff

Spotify to WM!

http://www.techradar.com/news/internet/spotify-heading-to-tv-consoles-and-mobiles-590398
Spotify is set to launch a new toolkit this week, opening up its application programming interface (API) in order to encourage developers to build the service into a range of comms and entertainment devices such as mobiles, consoles and TVs.
Someone who arises?
This woud be AWSOME!
Please, anybody?!
Would love spotify in my mobile!
That would be a fantastic app for the Touch HD. If you check their homepage, they have been advertising for developers with Windows Mobile experience, presumably for exactly this reason.
I can't imagine iPhone users will ever see Spotify - it would kill sales through iTunes!
According to Swedish IDG they will focus on iPhone and phones based on Symbian. So I think it will take some time before we see this for the Windows Mobile platform. And it will also be premium service, which will cost a few bucks.
This is the article translated into English with Google Translate:
http://translate.google.com/transla...ir-en-betaltjanst&sl=sv&tl=en&history_state0=
please somebody develop this
PLEASE - Spotify is one of the best things i've seen in AGES - if someone could make this - I WOULD PAY MONIES!
I'm pretty sure Spotify won't allow any 3rd party applications to connect to their service. At least not if you don't have a premium account.
yep, premium customers are able to connect to spotify with unofficial clients.
I've created a survey for peeps to fill out, I'll then forward it onto the guys at Spotify for them to see the results. Hopefully there is enough interest to persuade them to develop one!!

I have been working on a Windows Mobile Spotify client called mySpot.
The first alpha version is complete and I have uploaded it to the forum today.

Image Sizes and Costs

I downloaded somewhere some image sizes - below are two. I am not too sure which one I downloaded these for / from. But can these icon information be used for Windows Mobile 7, Android, and iPad / iPhone?
From what I think I remember speaking with one developer helping him with testing his game, I think he said it was $99.00 a year for 100 applications. If I only wanted to submit one (free) application, would it be better to find someone that already has the feature to develop this application? The application is very small - mainly to read one specific RSS feed.
Hey
the developer account costs are not connected to the image license price. If you want to submit a WP7 app to the marketplace, you have to own a developer account, that costs $99/year. But this price does not grant the permission to use these pictures. You have to ask the creator whether you're allowed to use them.
Regards
Chris
Thanks - sorry I did not mean to imply I would use these images, I just did not know if it was these image (sizes / quality) that was needed.
If the developer has an account though and he develops the app that I need, can he use that account to upload the app?
Hey
For the licensing procedure and requirements you should visit this link:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh184843(v=VS.92).aspx
But I don't get your question. If you're asking wheter you could have another developer programming and submitting the application you need the answer is yes. Every developer that has an account can send apps in. You just have to find someone that wants to create your application. Another possibility would be to program your app yourself and send the compiled version to a developer, so that he can pass it to the WP marketplace...
Regards
Chris
If you need an app built for something easy like an RSS feed, check this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=941248
it discusses a build your own app website.
http://thirdlabs.com/
I have never used it and have no afiliation with the site, but it looks easy enough...
Anywho, once the app is made, you can
sideload it (if you're unlocked)
pay for a dev account and submit it ($99 a year)
try to get a free student account and submit it (see here )
find someone with a dev account that will submit it for you
good luck
Thanks for the links! I have run into the RSS feed link - but it was not that site.
Yes, Chris - that answers that question. I thought as much but wanted to make sure. (Sorry it is difficult for me to sometimes get my point across due to my health).

Is there a programing App/website out there for Non Programmers?

I've not seriously programmed since I was 10-12 years old and Peek'd/Poke'd my way through in BASIC on my C=64. I'm wanting to create an app to use on my phone and even release into Marketplace for others. It's a general Ballistics program. I've noticed there is nothing out there that I can find for the hobby or competitive shooter. If someone else wants to take up the challenge, please feel free. But, if not, I'd be willing to do one if I can find the programs to help with this. Also, does anyone have any books or other sites that will explain the programing languages needed to make a current (Mango) compatible app.
Thanks
JTMcD.
If you know a website with rss feed, you can try FollowMyFeed
http://www.followmyfeed.net/en-us
"FollowMyFeed allows you to quickly create your Windows Phone 7 application for free without any technical knowledge.
Let us guide you through a simple interface for creating an application to your image..."
Do a seach for "Windows Phone touch studio", maybe this is something fou you.

I'm with you!
I don't want to create a feed based app either, mine is strictly texted based with a search feature. Not quite as easy as it looks
I've spent all day looking at the attached document. It's a small tutorial on WP development.

[Q] Website into an App

I'll keep this as simple as possible.
First:
my coding experience is that of a Kindergartners. I'm sure at this rate if i want to get anything done i may need to hire someone.
However, i would still like to learn.
SO MY QUESTION:
Is it possible to make an app that pretty much is just a website?
For example, the app would essentially be the website. I.e rather than go to m.Facebook.com you would be downloading Facebook App.
However the only difference would be that one is via an app and one is via the mobile browser. No feature difference. nothing.
I think of it as a "Drag and Drop" you take the website and drop it into the 'framework' of an app.
it must be possible, if so. How? is there a tutorial? or is someone willing to explain this?
I Do know exactly what i want done, so if you're super educated with something like this i am willing to pay a small amount for the app.
Or if you want to know more about exactly what i want message me.
Of corse it is possible - that's what a Web App is.
Take a look at developer.android.com/guide/webapps/index.html
Basically, you just toss your web stuff (html, css, javascript, ...) inside an app acting as native wrapper and displaying your content through a Web View.
But if your app is just ment to be an identical copy of your website, I would not advise it:
WebViews are not exactly state-of-the art, and may show little inconsistencies or behave differently than mobile browsers
Every time you update a single file on your website you need to release an update for the app as well - unless you leave your content on the web and the app loads it remotely, but that would mean a very slow app
Web Apps are tipically a choice when you need to target multiple platforms (android, ios, ...) at once or when you want to fast-prototype an app and you're more skilled at html development than Android.
Unless, of course, you have other specific reasons to build an app for your website.
There is also another way to make your website look like an app (at least, for those using Chrome Mobile):
developers.google.com/chrome/mobile/docs/installtohomescreen
Mobile App Developers
Yes for sure.. We can convert an website into app. This is all covered in Mobile App Developers work...
Yes, of course. Use PhoneGap
Hi,
of course, that's possible. All you have to do is try out PhoneGap. Use google to find it.
I did not use it before, because I like native apps without any "gaps" between. But for a quick'n'dirt hack you will find it usefull, I think.
The site says:
Easily create apps using the web technologies you know and love: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Sure. It is just what phonegap can do for you.
