Hello everyone, i have question, i have sony xperia M with android 4.3, full rooted, my question is i want play games like GTA, NOVA3 etc., im using foldermount but i have games like thor who have 1gb, gta has 2.5 gb and i cant get obb file to internal storage can someone tell me how i can use foldermount when obb files is in sd card and not in internal storage ? there are two option...
use sd swap..no need of foldermount
if u want foldermount...create a folder[just empty folder no need to paste .obb] with exact name as in game obb folder in internal [sdcard0/android/obb]...then refresh foldermount and u can create link with that..

Can you tell little "tutorial" of second option ? im new of foldermount, i had swaped memory on 4.1.2 but now on 4.3 i all time got bootlop thanks

In free version only three folders to mount.. But in gl to sd unlimited folder mount..

Hi installed folder mount but i don't know how to add the games in this app. i m confused how to add the path in settings when it's just showing in source Path:/storage/emulated/0 ....it was showing same in path in gl to sd that's why thought to use this app. but here also same confusion. i saved my asphalt 8 on the external memory card i.e. on my memory card in storage/extSDcard/games folder & install asphalt 8.apk but i'm unable to mount the memory card path as it's not showing but just Path:/storage/emulated/0...kindly help
as i have used gl 2 sd recently and find it easiest to use..
just 1 thing..move data to phone memory first and install apk...after installation....... then u move data in ext sdcard ..from gl2sd app....not by urself...(for easiest way)..and then nount play!..

The latest versions of 4.2.2 (on the 9082L) have native "Move to SD" and I have transfered my games, and they run fine.
I like foldermount.
Add luckypatcher and buy pro, then you have unlimited mounts available. And also this program is better cuz it is MUCH simpler to use.

I would know if Link2SD can move data games (like Minion Rush, Rayman Jungle Run etc..) in ext2 partitionned SD Card?

AFAIK, it can't move OBB ("additional resources for ..."), but I think it's possible to bind-mount a folder (in any partition) over the expected location.

I saw I can move my obb folders and all other apps in my sd card without swapping memories or part sdcard !

thanks God i successfully installed cwm and my phone rooted, now i want to swap my 16g external to internal, thats the prob, is there any easiest way to do that? i used to use same technique for my lated phone, but its failed, and i tried use some apk call external 2 internal, and it dont happend, failed,,, uh, can someone guide me...

if you want space specifically so that you can play/install more then 1 hd games, then use gl to sd...it will move ur game data from phone to memory card and all you have to do is open gl sd app and Mount game and play...... that way you can have as many games you want.. i have fifa14 mc4 and asphalt 8 @ same time.. thanks to this app ..

swapping method only works in JB 4.1.2 not in 4.4(CM11) or OFFCIAL JB 4.2.2 as the workaround is that you can download GL2SD which actually mounts the particular folder for you to play the game with data on external SD card...but remember before installing any game you have to have to place data FIRST in internal sd card then TRANSFER the data through and only through the APP(gl2sd) and game will work fine..

thanks a lot, but now im using folder mount, i believe its has same function as gl to sd, where can mount installed hd games to sd card, hehehhee, now i have fifa2014, and 3 more hd games, thanks :laugh:
Dear All,
I rooted my s4 mini and installed a stable CM rom.
After a while a realised that the SD card was not recognised, I could not move apps to it!
after playing a bit I found out that there are 2 SD cards: the first one is a partition of the 8gb internal storage,
the second is the physical one!
So my guess now is that, if I manage to format the internal storage I will get rid of this partition.
So my questions are: am I right? is there anybody else with the same problem? how do I format the
internal storage? will that work?

its not a problem its the way it is, stock behave the same way 2 sdcard, one emulated (sdcard0) and one external sdcard (extsdcard),
y use folder mount to "redirect" all folders I want to the ExtSDCard (32 gb class 10), moved all obb files, music, downloads, pictures, documents etc, never had space problems, once I had installed fifa13, batman dark night, nova , maxpayne, asphalt 7 and asphalt 8, thats easy 6gb only in games all working flawless

I still don't know how to mount and redirect all folders I want on the external one.
In principle the SD card is mounted I can see it and the content with file explorer but I can't move apps with app2SD
I don't really know what to do!

So after so much efforts i could hardly free 1.60gb on my internal memory but still the game's data file is of 2 gb....I have already read about foldermount app but according to it, that app is used to move data file from internal to sd cars and then game can be played, but in my case i dont even have sufficient space to use flodermount...so is there any other way to do this....i have already rooted my phone..

Same Problem here , I am using HTC Desire 816G and about 3 GB in internal left.
I am unable to install any game.

Hey, i have got a solution,root your phone,install xposed framework and download 2 modules in that- one is savetoexternal and the other one is obbtosd ..this solved my problem regarding playing games through sd card...
Now all my games are able to detect the data file from sd card and not through internal storage..?
