ZVA TO ZVC INFORMATION:
To upgrade to ZVC ROM's coming from ZVA:
1. ***MAKE A BACKUP*** If the modem does not flash properly (i.e. ROM won't boot) you can restore. If modem flashes and ROM boots, you CANNOT restore any ZVA ROM without downgrading your modem which is in autoprime’s thread here: Flashable Modem Zips [All G2 Variants]
2. Flash ZVC ROM. (Wipe cache, data, system, then flash ROM)
3. Flash ZVC Modem in SAME Recovery session.
4. IF SUCCESSFUL, reboot to System.
5. After successful boot, reboot to Recovery.
6. Flash ZVC Firmware, reboot to System.
7. Profit.
MY DISPLAY IS MESSED UP! HELP!:

Okay thanks.
Will wait until you confirm

Ok, not sure what is up with the zip, it's corrupt but I'm going try and see if I can repackage. It may not work but @youdug will need to uploade the zip again when he can. If I get the zip to work, I'll host until he can get to a computer and upload again. No promises here folks but working on it.
UPDATE! I repackaged the zip and have flashed.... uploading new zip now.

hmm i guess upload mustve messed up somehow.
started uploading it and got off the pc and watched Taxi Driver.
ill check it out right now too.
dropped the ball again lol
Edit: uploading again, about 10 minutes left

Same here. Failed as well. Hows the upload going? Thanks bro.

done :good:
op updated guys.
edit: added mirror to op courtesy of @mrrogers1

SwiftKey users, there is a known bug in the official app that will cause a gapps crash on boot.
Solution #1 is to do nothing, it will only crash on boot and there are no other issues.
Solution #2 is to download the SwiftKey beta app and use it as default until the full app is updated. No idea why SwiftKey didn't include *Sprint in the support link but it is def been broke since we got it.
I went with #2 and will leave the full app installed so I know when it's updated and can confirm its working. [emoji106][emoji106]

it is a 'stock recovery' flashable zip. and with all zip files, yes it is viewable on the phone.
its mostly full of patch files. and patches around 200 files. 178 of those are system apks getting patched... largest patches going to samsungservice, flipboard, polaris , clock package, browser, and datataduh!!! googlequicksearchbar.apk ***removing universal search i would be guessing... for anyone that keeps up on the apple/nexus debacle..
I put this on the SD card (btw i was stock non rooted) went into recovery and ran it.. i lost all my files smh! it was a ten mb file .. wth?
it wiped the system. only takes a line of code. dont matter how big the file is..

I haven't, but I work from home and am on wifi most of the time. One person reported that calls were being dropped when switching between two calls (call waiting) using the LEM modem but that was fixed with the LG1 modem. Another person reported in the OTA thread better performance with the new modem.
Give it a shot. You can always go back to the LEM modem if you want.

[Modem/Baseband] TMO GS3 UVLH2 Flashable Radio

ONLY FLASH IF YOU HAVE T-MOBILE
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
Disclaimer:
Flashing radios is among the most dangerous thing we can do to our devices. If you flash any of these on your AT&T, Sprint, Wind etc., you're very likely to brick your phone. While I have tested this file, you flash at your own risk. Again, this is T-Mobile only.
Flash this file from CWM recovery:
TMOGalaxyS3UVLH2Modem.zip
Mirror - TMOGalaxyS3UVLH2Modem.zip - 19.57 MB
This flash does backup your original modem.bin
Flash this file from CWM recovery:
TMOGalaxyS3RestoreModem.zip - 418.93 KB
***Note: Though it doesn't have to be at the root of the card, this zip should be placed somewhere on your internal SD card (aka /sdcard) as well otherwise it may not see the modem.backup file.***
If everything works, you'll see a progress bar during the flashing process. Don't see a progress bar? Then the radio hasn't been flashed.
If you flashed the TMOGalaxyS3UVLG1Modem.zip twice and lost the original backup modem here it is...
Download and move to /data/media overwrite existing. The change permissions to rw-rw-rw
Now flash the TMOGalaxyS3RestoreModem.zip to return to the original modem.
T999UVALEM Modem Backup
modem.backup - 60.00 MB

Please hit the THANKS button if this file helped you!
I flashed back and forth 5x it works!
:good:
Thanks

thanks so much for the great upload.
I flashed this successfully. working well.
i just did not do a speed test on the previous radio (ULVG1) and was wondering if this is a major update?
im also throttled at 5gb right now and my speed sucks........
downloading now!! awesome thank you!
is flashing this the same as if we would have done the OTA update? i remember the ota update being around 93 mb, and this is only 19ish mb?
Previous radio was twice as fast in the speed test compared to this one.

I don't normally like to post a non fully functional rom, but today I am.
Some of you are curious about KitKat and CM11, so I thought I'd share an early build I put together.
Consider it a preview, since the cell data and calls do not function in this release.
There is nothing left in the rom that will cause any unwanted harm to your device or the radio, so do not be concerned with that.
If you are worried about that or think you might wanna throw darts at me if anything happens to your phone, then don't flash this!
What's NOT working?
RADIOS
Expect that nothing works, and you should be fairly happy with it.

Download CM11.0/KitKat No-Data Beta
Download KitKat Gapps
Flash Rom using CWM ONLY!
Twrp needs to be updated for KitKat
Flash Gapps
Reboot
I also have a more baseline Aosp 4.4 build I've been working on since before CM11.
Maybe that will get posted as well once it gets further along.
I hope some of you enjoy trying it out, even without functional cell radios.
Wifi and camera both work...enjoy! :good:
Break me off a piece of that..........
Installing ClockworkMod Touch Recovery:
Download - Clockworkmod Touch
Put your deice into fastboot mode: Power and volume down until the white menu screen appears.
Then select fastboot by pressing the power button.
The image is then easily installed via an unlocked bootloader with the following command:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery imagename.img
For example, recovery named CW_touch_recovery:
fastboot flash recovery CW_touch_recovery.img
The image must be in your fastboot working directory.
If you need more specific help with unlock/recovery flashing you can use this guide.

Yeah thanks, you're right, sorry about that.
I forgot, the new metadata that gets written, needs cwm to be able to read the script properly.
So you will have to use CWM Recovery.
I had been using TWRP as well, but since making these builds, I switched and forgot about that altogether.
Was trying to tweak a version of cwm a bit as well...
To build updated twrp u need cm source. Which I haven't done yet so. If @santod040 can do it that would be great

Great work...thank you...Shouldn't it say [ROM][KK4.4] not [ROM][JB4.4]?
Odd, perhaps stupid question, but, would 4.4 gapps work with cm10?
When I install this using CWM recovery, I get the following message: "This package is for \"m7wlv,m7vzw\" devices; this is a m7ul" It then error's out. I've run into issues like this in the past, and I have usually edited the "updater-script" to remove the assert statements at the beginning of the script, which then will allow the ROM to install. But in this case, when I try and update the file inside the download, I get an error and 7zip won't let me update the file
Any ideas?

RADIO INFORMATION:
To upgrade to ZVA radio and use Spark:
1. *Flash this TWRP with Flashify from the Play Store.(See below.)
2. **Flash this ROM, reboot and make sure the ROM boots up. (See below.)
3. Reboot to recovery and flash the ZVA radio. If it flashed without error then you can reboot to the ROM.
*You only need to do this if you do not have the loki'd version of TWRP 2.6.3.3. If you are unsure, follow that step.
**If you are already running the ROM you can skip this step.
More Information:
You DO NOT have to downgrade to the ZV8 radio now to run AOSP based ROMs. To run an AOSP based ROM with the ZVA radio you MUST flash Savoca's or dr87's kernel immediately after you flash the AOSP ROM.
Big thanks to @[B]Savoca[/B] @[B]autoprime[/B] @[B]garwynn[/B] @[B]Shelnutt2[/B] @[B]Dougie2187[/B] for all of their work, links, and infomation with this update.

no you shouldn't since its a stock rooted and booat loader isn't being changed but don't quote me on that
If I'm running the unrooted stock of the ZVA ROM, do I need to flash anything but this one rom? Also do I have to wipe anything?

Thanks youdug!
Also I see LG has yet to remove the Google Shopping app, an app for a service which was shut down before the phone was even released...
Flashed the ROM and it said SuperSU was not installed and asked if it should be, so I hit install SuperSU and got stuck on the LG screen. I was lucky enough to be able to boot into TWRP still
So if I'm not in one of the spark cities but in one of the 4g LTE upgraded cities like in this post:http://newsroom.sprint.com/news-releases/sprint-rolls-out-4g-lte-in-more-cities.htm?view_id=7889, will flashing ZVA and this ROM have any added effect?
So is this rom bloat free or are all the Sprint apps still included? I'm asking because I took the ota and then rooted after, but I never made a pure spark backup before I added all my tweaks. If this one still has all the bloat I can just use this as a backup incase KK ever drops, I can ota using this.
