I brought a class 10, 32gb samsung card online. Its pretty fast.
I choose samsung because I wasn't sure of compatibility of other brand with my note 2 and it have got 10 years warranty. With other brand you will get only 2 to 5 years warranty. Also I got a good deal from infibeam.com magic box.

Hmmmm sounds good to my ears

My girlfriend has the same issue, I will give her my samsung card and she can try if it is realy lies at the brand only.

Guys it is SANDISK and not SCANDISK.
Next always buy card of class 10. Most of the people do not know about it. Class 10 cards will only give you speed.
I am using Class 10 Sandisk 16GB and never faced issues.
Note Class 10 cards are costly rather than Class 4 cards which is easily available.

[Q] Which SD cards have been reported to work with the Note 2?

I know there are numerous issues with 4.1.2 with the Note 2 and the S3 concerning the micro SD card. Right now I have a 2GB (no idea what the class is) SanDisk card in my note 2. I bought a 16GB class 10 lexar, and one day later I got the mounting issues where the phone would keep mounting and unmounting the card. Couple of days later, the card was totally unreadable by the phone. So I decided to take it out and thankfully it was still readable on the computer, so I gave it to a friend, where the card works flawlessly on her BB. Anyway, I've read around that the samsung cards have been solving this issue... Is this true? I am definelty staying away from SanDisk and Lexar as those are the two clear brands with problems. Anyway thanks for any help in advance!
I've been running a 32gb PNY SD card for months. Bought when I had my S2 then used it in my S3, did have an isuue with it on my S3 when I made a backup of the rom I was using but was able to completely restore it. Put it in my Note 2 when I got it back in April all has been good so far.

The red/grey sandisk cards in 8, 16, 32 and 64 gig capacities run fine. Rocking the 64 at the moment.
I had read somewhere a few months back that the Sandisk cards had issues with getting hot and failing but if I remember right it was the black class 10 onesthat where 16gb and higher. Something about them not being able to handle the faster read/write speeds in the S3 and probaly in the Note 2. I'm very happy with my class 10 32gb PNY.

From what I read, it wasn't wide spread but there were reports that some had issues. May have just been defective SD cards

Wow, a lot of you use the SanDisk which I am trying to avoid haha. Maybe I'll go for the Samsung cards. I don't understand why there hasn't been an update yet. Frying a memory card is a big deal in my point of view...

I always get a 32 gb class 4 or up. sandisk has always been my choice. But samsung makes great cards as well. You cannot go wrong with either as long as the class is above 2 (or itll suck and die) and enough space for all your needs

If you have a micro center nearby, just get their store branded one. I paid 19.99 for a 32gb class 10 with a walk in exchange / lifetime warranty. Best store in the world lol.
Works great, speed as advertised, and best of all its an actual brick and mortar location. Name branded ones cost twice as much and have like a 1 yr warranty. Easy choice if you ask me

I have a 32gb Samsung class 6 and a 64gb Sandisk class 10, both are the ush1 or whatever it is. The Samsung one is so much faster! And not that the 64 had more stuff on it, Samsung was fastest even when it was packed full of stuff. I personally am not pleased with the Sandisk performance.

Best 32gig Class 10 Micro SD

Can anyone recommend me a 32gig micro sd card? I recently purchase this POS http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA26X0PJ1516 from newegg and I'm pissed off at how bad it is. It is advertised with amazing write and read speeds but is nothing near that! It maxes out around 6.6 MB write and 10MB Read speed, WTF. I'm in the process right now for getting a refund and want to get a reliable SD that does not lie about it's speeds. Thanks
Go for the sandisk one. Or if speed is what you want go for there extreme 16 or 32 GB more expensive but boss overall

I see a lot of reports regarding defective SanDisk cards though. Do you own one? If so can you run a speed test and let me know how it performs.

I ended up buying this card by GSkill. It has a lifetime warranty which works awesome even if your card doesn't. Google searches found that they have the best replacement turn around and processing.

Does it really matter on the class, I have always been confused by that.
Yeah as each class gets higher, it means the read and write speeds get faster. Class 2 is the lowest. Class 10 is the fastest. And there's
UHS 1 which is faster then class 10

I'm running a 32gb SanDisk that's labeled UHS 1 but also says class 10.
I had a 8gb that was the same until black Friday when bestbuy had the 32 GB for under $20 with tax.
I've yet to have a SanDisk fail and I abuse my SD cards.

Yeah I think my new SanDisk is like that too. But I got my card way before the holiday season it was $23. I know I saw it at bestbuy for $17 but its 6 bucks. What I really wanted was a 64gb card. Saw it on Amazon for one of the sales for $34. But 32gb is plenty for me for the moment.
The one you got from BestBuy was the extreme or regular?

Yeah it has to do with something relating to 32gb. anything above 32gb has to be formatted diffrrently? I can't remember the exact details about it.
64gb is crazy amounts of space. I only use about 15-20gb. But I've seen some of these apps in the play store go up to 1gb now which crazy for an app.

[Q] Maximum MicroSD capacity?

I'm buying a new microSD card soon, and I wonder what's the biggest one I can safely use with my Xperia T2.... 64GB? 128GB?
Also, a bit related, how good are Samsung branded SD cards?
Thanks in advance for your answers.

32 gb is the maximum capacity for t2 ultra.
I dont really know about Samsung sd cards, sandisk is recommended, though.

You can also use 64GB card. I had one and it worked until it got broken (was a chinese one). But if you try google you will find many t2 users happy with 64GB. I am currently using a 32GB SanDisk ultra and it is pretty fast.

Ok, I see... So I'm guessing getting a 128GB one would be pushing it too far?
64GB is just fine, if it works withouth hiccups.
Just wondering... what happened to your card? Did your data get corrupted or was a physical flaw?

Try out the Lexar 64gb micro SD, or the Samsung UHS 64gb micro sd, ive had both , no complaints, dont have them now cuz i lost the phones which harboured them.
