Yes. If you search it was available the day before you posted.

Funny thing is that you posted something that you have no idea how to install, that doesn't help much. Like @hyelton said, search before you copy and paste.

Yea there has been a thread on "How-To" Since Aug of last year lol..

[Q][ROOT][SU640][V20d] How to Root LG Optimus LTE?

Dear All
Previously i was on V10o and unable to root it and also unable to install CWM. so i updated it to ICS and now its on V20d . but couldnt found root method for V20d .. i want to install CM9/CM10. plz tell me how to root.. thanks in advance
You can install cwm only in gingerbread firmware!
If you try on ICS, can brick your phone.

Sorry for my english.
10i-root-kdz update to 20d( no wipe)-root -cwm-flash rom as you like

Yar , if you are already on v20D firmware (official ICS) you can easily root using root20D.rar given or
you can follow this tutorial
http://wiredsoup.blogspot.com/2013/02/rooting-lg-optimus-su640-on-official-ics.html
may i add, you can only root ICS, not install CWM on it. for that you need to downgrade
I wanted to ask that when after i root my ICS V20D, can i remove/uninstall all the bloatware. Cause i heard somewhere that if you remove some bloat it might brick your phone?

Some of the bloatware can be removed... but some will end up in brick phone. best approach will be to freeze the unused apps.

Ok. This new "update" released by ATT on 8/7/14 is real fishy. It is only 5.15 MB. Yes, you read that right!! So there is going to be absolutely nothing worthwhile in it. They claim it's a security uodte, but if you re on a custom recovery it will make it unbootable...! So the "security" issue may be custom ROMs ......This update can be forgotten. That makes me feel good..... ATT/LG stinkers.!!

Yep this update will automatically install, so have LG FlashTool handy for having to go back to stock in case your phone bricks itself.

i had cwm recovery on my phone, running stock 4.4 and it told me there was an update but i ignored it so i could research what it would do. I had no idea it would auto-update, checked my phone after going to movie, and it was stuck in a boot loop and there was nothing i could do, could not recover an old backup, nothing would boot. had to use lgtools to return it back to stock.
I wanna try this little update.. Is there any diff?... Speed or better connectivity?... I saw that lg was gonna bring g3 ux to other phones... I hope

The phones are different, there is no way a LG G3 ROM would work on this phone. Now that the Vigor is available I would love to see if the LG G3 ones can be ported.

Hmm...that's strange i have the Sprint version of the vigor and it worked for me. Make sure u follow the instructions given to the t. Make sure u have all files and drivers necessary. This includes not only drivers necessary for the device but also files necessary for the pc i got an error when attempting it the first time because i was missing some kind of necessary file on the computer. If u get an error on the pc do a Google search to find the necessary file. Google is your best friend!

Pie update for US wifi only model

Edit: The OTA has come out in France and can be downloaded via Frija or Sammobile. I installed it on my US version and it's running fine! \
I know some people like to see what they are installing before hand so here is a video running it on my SM-T830: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wcNZ850IUrg
unless someone has a copy of the update uploaded somewhere we can download and do this... then no.
Gotta wait. Only t835 has been release so far in France

Omg. NO, ITS NOT OUT! The only update available right now is for the France LTE. That means no WiFi model for any country.
I don't know how I can say that differently for you to understand.
Is it was out there would be links. There would be news articles. There would be information. Just be patient and wait. It will come soon.

You may add some question marks on the thread title so no one enters thinking it's available for download when it's not
you can, you just need to skip flashing modem. but there is probability that may brick it...
Looks the the T830 9.0 update is out for France according to sammobile. I believe you should be able to flash that on the US model.
