[Q] LG G3 Model number. - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

The title says it all. Has all the models been announced and will each model be different in spec? Will the international version contain 3GB of ram?

There will be 2 variants. One with 16GB of internal will have 2GB of RAM. One with 32GB of internal memory will have 3GB of RAM

Hi all,
I live in Australia,
I am wanting to buy either a 32gb or 64gb galaxy note II (the international version), but I cant find any word on when they will be released here.
Does anyone have any idea when the 32gb or 64gb versions will be released in Australia?
and does anyone know what kind of pricing we will be seeing over here (off contract)
Thanks in advance
Cheers
Corey

Actually they're available in South Korea, LucidMike has a 64gb LTE one.
I don't think you'll be able to use any of the ROMs or anything here on it though.

64 gb

Can it support 64 gb?

Depends on which model you are talking about. The Canadian ones can't. They are only 32GB without any expandable memory. I don't know about the Sprint and Verizon models (although I think there is one that has a microsd slot) but they have their own sections so I would recommend that you ask them in there about it.

T-Mobile 32GB SGH-M919 Variant

I've been waiting for T-Mobile to announce the availability of a 32GB variant of the S4 but everyone I've asked at T-Mobile has no clue or ETA for the device.
Has anyone heard anything about the availability of the 32GB device?
Does anyone know of an alternate S4 device that has 32GB of storage and will support all of the bands that the SGH-M919?
I have to use my device as a business device so I don't plan to root it as my company's MDM and monitoring agents freak out and I get beaten up by the IT police so I'm not worried about being able to load custom ROMs onto the device.
I have a 64GB UHS-1 MicroSD so it's not SD Card storage I'm looking for but actually more storage to use on in the phone's actual memory.
Any thoughts?
Why not just get a memory card?
I have a 64gb microsd card but I want the option of having more than 8gb free that the 16gb phone comes with.

Yeah it's cool to be able to play with it now and as I mentioned I have a 64 MicroSD UHS-1 card but I'm more concerned of having the memory on the phone available for app data or some apps I use for work that I dont have the ability to offload content to the MicroSD for.
So with all that being said does anyone have any idea for the original question I asked about an variant device?
You can buy the AT&T 32gb version, enable AWS and flash t-mobile rom. The phones are the same with aws disabled by software

Thank you for that info mxmarcus - I didn't know they were identical... do you know if I will have to unlock and root the AT&T version to put the T-Mo ROM on the phone?

Here is the link to enable AWS on AT&T variant
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2291589
Root and unlock should be easy.
I just order mine and I am planning to flash T-Mobile rom after enabling AWS
dont think that the ATT version has all the LTE bands that the tmob one has.
and about the 32gb version its an IF not a WHEN

yes, I have a ATT 32gb sim unlocked (via code from ATT) and AWS bands enabled, look at the thread in the ATT i337 forum on how to do it. to enable AWS you need to flash a new QCN file to the phone.
you can also now fully flash tmobile rom to an ATT S4 look on Galaxys4root.com for that video and also the aws enable video.
Everywhere I have read att has exclusive to the 32gb.
And no they're are not exactly the same, the att has less bands of lte support.

Are you certain? I thought they both have the same specs, modems, and everything. (other than the locked boot loader).

by the way, I see LTE band 2 and band 5 in the configs and they do enable. (can't really test).
I'm pretty sure U.S. GS4 are all the same, capable of using each their own bands of lte. *Obviously I'm excluding gsm vs cdma* we all know that difference.

Yes.
T-Mobile's SGS4 has more bands. ATT's has less bands.
You can use the T-Mobile SGS4 on either carrier no problem. You can't witht he ATT one.
Just google them, you can compare the specs on Samsung's official websites, they list the bands.

You can also google or search XDA on how to unlock AWS on AT&T S4 to use on TMO.
but you can't just walk into an AT&T store and buy one, right?
ebay or some other site.

No you can't unless something has changed. They will not sell you a device, even at "full retail" if you don't have a plan with them.

I did i pay $760 without getting any plan they just give me a new dim to activate on gophone 65 plan

If you wait there's a thread in here about an update that let's you put app on the sdcard and Samsung was able to squeeze a Lil more space into the device but it said it's only available to Germany right now

So I am planning on purchasing this phone variant
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Produc...220028&cm_re=zenfone_2-_-75-220-028-_-Product
Could someone give me the compatibility breakdown in general of the zenfone 2 variants because there seem to be a ton of variants and tons of roms.
Sounds expensive to me, that model should sell around 225 canadian

260 after tax in Alberta for the 16 gb model and any 551ml rom for the zenfone will work fine

D855 to D850 conversion?

I currently have a d855 and was really wanting to use 4g but the d855 doesn't have the correct bands for my area. Would it be possible to get an att motherboard and swap it out? Also if you could, would it matter to get a 32gb, since I currently have a 16gb model? Thanks!
