Android 4.2.2 was released January 2014. I think you can't expect a KitKat upgrade. BUT you can use a KitKat custom rom e.g. Cyanogenmod 11

I have already used cm11.It is awesome except for the bugs.Even the new camera app by google crashes a lot.

Best custom Rom for GT-I9082 Resurrection Remix 5.0.8 try it..
Only one limitation it is a single sim rom..
Will try it,but won't be able to use it for long as I need dual sim functionality.

Unfotrunately according to Sammobile Official KitKat will go to the second generation of this device ( Grand 2 )

Yes File manager that can access root folders such as Root Explorer or ES File Explorer File Manager.
Very simple. Just replace the TouchWizHome.apk in /system/priv-app and give pemission rw-r-r

Hello! I did a theme for SecThemeChooser with the new touchwiz of Note 5/S6 Edge+.
Just put the S6+.apk in system/app and reboot.
~ The official icons are still leaking, sometimes I will upload the new apk with original icons
