In my, before and after the update the charging time is the same as you mentioned. However, LG announces a charging time of 4 ~ 5 hours.

[PROBLEM] One X Not Charging

Ok so I just went to plug my phone in to charge and it's not charging. No LED and no indication from the phone itself that there is charging going on. This is totally random as I charged it last night without issue and haven't modified anything for a few days now. Any ideas?

The funny thing is if my phone is turned off it charges quicker.. it could be also a service wich consumes alot of battery but i dont see anything unusual in the battery history..
I also use Greenify so the services should get turned of.

So there are two possible things now. One is the phone is faulty, two is you installed an app that caused this problem.

I have noticed same on My honor8.. but only If i leave FB or Snapchat running backround. Also old FB update (cant remember when) has issue when i "cleaned" from taskmanager FB was still running and used lots of battery. So im quessing that your problem can be caused by app or two..
I hope Huawei will make their own quick charge implementation like VOOC from Oppo.

Well I dont know if its just a placebo, but I think since im rooted today it charges up quicker... dont know if thats even possilble but I got Greenify now running with root permissions.

Quick charge not working anymore.

I've been having this phone for a few months now and at the beginning the quick charge was working just fine but then, suddenly, I'm stopped working. On the screen it said only "In charge". In the meantime I lost the original charger so I bought a new one that supports quick charge but there haven't been any results. Is there an option or something to activate it again? Do you have any idea what might be the problem?

Check the specifications of the new charger. It should be able to support 5V/2A and 9V/2A. Also check your cable if it supports that.

Yes that's probable. Maybe, go to the mall, and ask to test your phone with original Huawei quick charger. If it's still not quick charging, then the problem is your phone.

If any service centre nearby, please visit to avail the warranty options. It may be hardware issue as well. Is it happening at the same time you started using the new charger or few days +- ?

I don't remember it. The fact is that when I tried to use my powerbank that supports quick charge, even if it didn't show up on the lock screen it was indeed charging really fast. Much faster then with the normal charger

What is your HONEST Charging speed? (10%-100%)

Just vote in the poll please.
ONLY VOTE FOR DATA USING THE SUPPLIED CHARGER AND CABLE .
Your charging data must be for phone in ON state with WIFI on.
Which is I assume most normal people would charge their devices.

Average
10% to 100 % in 1 hour 51 mins. Been 2 weeks since owning this device. The maximum i have noticed is 2 hour 18 mins , i,e from 4 % to 100%.

Could have just used a logger app, but decided to go ancient.
