Hello guys,
I want to know if it is possible to install PA or any other Custom ROM in BQ Aquaris 5.7?
It is a MTK6589 device, Quad-Core processor. I've searched but didn't find nothing :/

Only if someone has ported PA or another ROM to that device. PA definitely doesnt build for that device.
I see. Well it is almost an unknown device, i don't see any development to it. Luckily I've managed to get root access with framaroot .

There are many custom roms available for XOLO Q3000 which has the same build as that of your phone. You can try any one
There a separate port XOLO -Q3000 in XDA Forum Just try. best of luck

Hey there, I was wondering whether I could use the Software "KingoAndroidRoot" to simply root my GT-P5210.
Anyone tried this? Because http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432467 here the Root ZIP download does not work..
I could just click on root now but im a bit scared since I found nothing about my Tablet in combination with this software(kingo android root) :S can it even brick the device?
i have 4.2.2 installed... just want to get rid of all these preinstalled apps... touchwiz isnt too bad imo.
Still would apreciate roms, do you think in the future there might be cyanogenmod or something aviable for this device??

Don't use Kingo...Just tested it for you and after 45 minutes of headache it doesn't work. Maybe the next version will.

suddenly, after some try's (and samsung recovering the stock recovery -_-) i finally got it to reboot directly into Recovery to install root..
now finally I can get rid of these annoying preinstalled apps.. not as good as a whole rom, but a start!

hi everybody, hope somebody can help me as im new to the world of roms and os.... i recently fully rooted my xperia m which is pretty cool, i backed up all my stuff and got some of the best apps available to rooted phones at the play store... i would like now if i can to go ahead with putting a better os or a rom onto it but really have no idea where to start.? iv watched videos on you tube which have helped a bit but am still quite unsure..
if someone could help me to locate some decent instructions to do so i would be very grateful..
You could better use the 'search' option here on xda... Moreover every rom thread has a set of complete instructions on how to flash it.....

can you recommend a ROM to use on here? im running on C1905? and also will i need to remove the boot-loader as well?
Yes.. You will have to unlock your boatloader....
One good Rom according to me is cynogenmod 11...
It's in the original development section along with the flashing instructions...

Dev has provided fix for previous issues.
After installing V2 all seems fixed except below
1)Google play store not working it says "No connection"
2)Super su pre installed but when we open it says "No binaries installed" not able to remove Super su or root phone
3)Debug/ADB connection to PC drops frequently
Apart from these ROM is super cool :good:

For super user use framaroot n I also got these n few other issue (reply if dev reply for solution )
Dev is working on fixing all 3 issues which i listed hope we will get them soon:thumbup:

If you're interest in custom ROMs for i9192 we have cm11, carbon ROM and mokee fully working

You can find official up to 4.4.2, about android L well I think it's too soon to tell, there are no sources available possible cyanogen will bring it but we're not sure if will be compatible with the multi sim framework
i really suggest you but the i9190/i9195 because the dual sim variant will have some dual sim issues with custom roms .. etc .. for now its okay but who knows when android L arrives :angel:
I'll certainly buy a non-duos phone if I find one because every body wants dual phones in my country. I've got 3 other questions:which is better s3 4g or s4 mini(in terms of performance and development) and will rooting , installing custom roms or even factory reset relock an unlocked phone(I'm talking about sim lock) ??? And if I buy a locked (like orange locked phone) will i still be able to install ROMs and root the same way i do for an originally unlocked phone??

Nope .. Do not try it l.... i think there is some thing mistake.. My phone is not getting signals... after some time i fixed it by reflashing and then restoring mac address... This is not working... thank me if i saved your phone... Please do not use it. and visit www.learnhacking.net
I have tried this ROM on my mmx a1 built KPW53 and didn't faced any problem.Did you flashed it through sp flash tool on Windows 7 pc?
Since the official OTA has arrived . I think we dont need this ROM anymore .
