I'm sorry if this is the wrong place but which themes can i use on my N5 with 4.4.3? If any i would also like so reccomendations.

For what I know (and tested) you can install any AOSP theme. There is a couple on the Play Store.
just google CM11 theme, there are a TON of them here on xda, there are some on Google Play, and CM has a theme showcase app on Play Store.

That is not a Rom actually. That is a launcher.
And that launcher is called ssLauncher. I'm using it right now, and I love it. It's able to be completely customized, but you have to do it all yourself, or find a theme from somewhere.

Does anyone know how I can change the Google 'Play Music' app from the orange themed headphone icon to the blue? My current ROM (RR 3.1.0) seems to have issues with installing the inverted apps. I've tried a few times over the past few releases to install the inverted apps, but it doesn't seem to affect Play Music.
I've got a .zip file that mods the green Messaging apk to blue, but can't find anything for the Play Music apk.
Apologies if this is somewhere else, but I've been searching forum threads on here all morning and can't find anything that relates to my question at all, which I'm quite surprised at! Usually XDA has the answer somewhere! It could be hidden somewhere in the RR ROM thread, but there's something crazy like 7100 pages and even searching within the thread brings up nothing useful!

Thanks. The theme looks good but I'm kinda happy with my current theme and also don't want to pay the £1.20 (cheapskate I know!). I just wish there was a way to flash just the blue apk to my phone (I have a similar .zip that I flash to change the green messaging to blue after install).

I thought I'd share this modded Play Store app I found in the SGSII forums. I've tried a few different mods and this was the only one which worked to enable Play Store compatibility with my phone since I changed the DPI to 280. I don't think this is a problem for folks running PA, but for everyone else, this works.

im a newbie from india in xda and got a fair bit of knowledge of rooting through this awesome xda.
i have rooted my note 2 and installed a custom rom.
however,i updated my play store when google asked me too.earlier in the older version of play store app,the recommendations used to update regularly with different featured apps and games . but now with the new UI of play store ,the recommendations never change, there are categories like Comics ,new movie releases,personalisation,platformers,actor highlight etc. They never change.Tried clearing cache too.Any suggestions why this thing is occuring? or can i go back to the old version?

Maybe try downloading other apps. Like music, and photography only. So maybe it's going to update??. Or try downloading custom playstore from xda thread somewhere here.
I really like the default apps from Google and replaced everything I could with them, but the Play Store won't let me download the phone app and if I get the apk directly the installation always fails. Could anyone port the app over so I could use it instead of the Xperia phone app since that made some weird design choices and I would prefer the Google solution. Thanks in advance.

Many function doesn't work on this modded dialer.
New dialer is avaible only when you have root and copy dialer files to system apps.
You must waiting for DRM and root. Better install version non Nexus from apkmirror.

I'm not sure where I got mine, there is an old version you can download that works perfectly. Nearby features and caller ID.

If you want basically the same features and the ability to have a dark/black theme...then use ZENui dialer and contacts and black theme all from the play store. Works great.

I had some non nexus version installed over my sony xperia x compact, and suddenly i got updated to version "google phone 14.0.176716531" 0_o
But in this version speed dial doesnt work well, so i was searching a little and found there is also newer version 15.0.179075669

And its working without any problem on xperia x compact. Don't have to mod anything, just install and thats all
