I am thinking to buy LG G3 Korean version but can anyone test about USSD/MMI Code? (For example *100# *118*8# *123#)
I use Prepaid Sim card so if USSD/MMI code does not work then I cannot top up(reload) or check balance or make a subscription...
The reason why I am asking this is because I have used LG G2 and Optimus LTE2 (Both Korean version) and For KT version, it did not work at all and for SKT version only half of the contents were displayed...
So can anyone check whether USSD/MMI code works?

USSD code is running but MMI it says incorrect and it DOESN"T allow me to recharge my balance.
I'm aslo pre-paid in Australia

Me too..im using f400k lgg3...ussd not works, after rooted n using cloudy rom its work,but another problem is cannot send sms..so i flash f400k baseband and the sms problem settled but the ussd problem happen again..anyone know how to to? A lot of time trying and trying.mhelpp me..

Yeah should be.... could you help me Root? I try purpledrake light on 10n but no luck... Im stuck on waiting for device. I installed lg drivers and put in PTP mode... any help will be appreciated

help required for installing TWRP recovery.

I have D855-HkG version with v10o kitkat version install, very uncommon version over lg g3. I want to move on lollipop but i didn't receive any OTA update. However, found new update after connecting with LG PC suite. Now i want to keep save my kitkat version too with modem settings, so that i can keep save my LTE carrier. but for that i need to install custom recovery.(TWRP). I have unrooted my phone quickly but not able to find TWRP version for D855 HKG version. Is HKG version and International 855 version same.? Any threats for installing TWRP / soft brick chances?
I will appreciate any help.

when you go on lg website and you put your imei that tell you if its possible or not .

i know. i put me imei and its say that impossible to unlock. can you explain? h815 singapore this is what lg site say.
It's the SEA variant. And no, you can't change it to EUR and unlock it.

Yea, they've been slowly adding them over the last month or two.
I had purchased a supposedly international unlocked LG g3 D855 32gb from eBay. Currently I am running kitkat 4.4.2 rooted rom which came pre-installed on the phone and it's rooted. There is no update center on my phone
Now I want to update it to lollipop or may be marshmallow but the problem is that I can't find which version of rom to flash as there are lots of D855 models in market there is European version, Korean version, Hong Kong version, Indian version. There is no clear indication on the box or on the phone abt the version is there any sure shot way of knowing what rom should I flash as I can't take risk of hard / soft bricking the phone. I am attaching screen shot of software version.

Download the app LGPhone From from play store, run it and one of the entries under serial no. will give a series of letters which denote area and carrier. E.g AGBRVK which is Virgin UK. Hope this helps.

If it is an original LG D855 the first entry should read OK, and then should list serial numbers and IME. Possibly your phone is a fake. I don't know as I have never seen one.

and red notification led with charging
itz not led/screen issue coz i changed with another bootloop phone screen but facing same issue itz hardware issue or software?
i also tried to install f500l .tot and f500l .kdz but wont install due to model changes to H815 or H818 dont know exectly.

Here it shows that my phone model is H815T, In box, inside phone there is written that its H815. Which one correct???
I tried your tricks with H815 firmware. it flashed. But no improvement. Tried with H815T, it could not find H815T by HxD.
any solutions please???

As long as it’s same region just open/unbranded all should be good..
But you won’t or may not get anymore OTA updates.
Forget this clean android pie korean firmware. I can confirm that for dual sim lg g7+ the network does not work - no calls, no data. IDK if it works for single sim, but reverting to another firmware brings back the network.

Yes had the same issue, so for now I'm sticking to Korean bloatware. I'm looking forward for the Indian version for my EAW
