Dude I was blown away!

Gonna check this out. I had Swiftkey on my first Galaxy and S2, with the S3 and S5 I stayed with Google Keyboard, love it. Now using stock S5 keyboard as my daily driver but sometimes Auto Correct makes me RAGE.

Do you guys know how to turn off word prediction on Swiftkey???

I boufht bought it years ago but it caused a lot of battery drain

Does Swiftkey offer the top numerical row? I GOTTA have it.

A new and veeerry happy Galaxy Nexus user

Hi poeple!!
Came to say hello...ohh...ohh...ohhohhhhhhh....
Last week, after some research and comparing to One X made my decision for Gnex after 2 years owning a HD2.
What a beauty! And great community/custom kernels/roms on xda
Love this phone
Grtz 0kk0
Welcome, it's very refreshing to have a new owner come in and NOT say "why does my GN suck compared to my ______"
I've had mine since January and couldn't be happier.

Battery Life is also great... with a lot of use i still get 36 hours... And the screen (Brightness 10% or more) is awesome...

Received mine from the Play Store last Thursday and I love it so far. My data speeds aren't as good as my other hspa+ devices on AT&T, but they aren't terrible.
Yeah I just got my phone 2 weeks ago...Stock google is just so...nice.
Just got mine 3 hours ago. I'm loving it so far. Came from an iPhone 4S.

You know, I love mine too. But my friend (who converted me to Android from the dark evil hands of Apple) is having a torrid time with his.
He loves Android and had always owned one, but this is the first time he's absolutely hating the experience. his device reboots at least twice every day (he's on stock, but he tries a lot of different apps) he did so in older phones too but never faced this problem.
I love my nexus and will never give it up, but let's be honest, the build is just not stable for prime time. Not every ones lucky with it.

I bought this phone 2 months ago and then bought 1 for my lady a month later. The both of us couldn't be happier coming from the T-Mobile galaxy s2. I can't find a reason to flash a rom or kernel yet as I can't imagine developers being better that GOOGLE themselves ya know what I mean
Sometimes a phone is more then the sum of its parts or specs. I believe this phone is great example of this.

Just got my Nexus yesterday and coming from the Droid X2 I can tell you it's very relieving knowing you're in good hands.
All of this positive talk is helping me get over the "sticker shock". Lol
Sent from my HTC Glacier using XDA
The sticker shock happens but it is much easier to swallow when we buy 300-550 tablets with accessories. Anyway I have had mine a week form the play store its been awesome. Coming from T-Mobile galaxy s 2. Much nicer and smoother.

Just got home from picking one up from a google employee. Returning my HTC One X for this and i'm liking it so far. Is there a way to tell which build is on here (yakju, etc.)

these devs blow stock out of the water with all the features, customizations & insane battery life. custom roms & kernels in this dev section are definitely worth checking out...

Oh How I Miss the SII Keyboard

I got the S3 after having the Evo and then the SII. The SII was a step up in almost every way from the EVo but the big step down for me in the S3 is the keyboard. Why does it have so many more problems then the S2 keyboard?
I tried other keyboards that are supposed to be like the S2 but none are as good.

I love Swype myself but if you want a good standard keyboard the stock ICS keyboard I have attached is better than both the S2 and S3 stock keyboards IMO.

It just seems the swipe function has get little accuracy in the S3 kb.

Haha.... but I have no big ego... I'm just participating in the xda-community....by posting this thread.... these apps I thought were very useful... since I find my self using them all the time!... and though I'd share my top 5 with my fellow N7 owners.... you don't have to use any of them if you don't too... as everyone has their own opinion and is different...

T-Jingle. I've been on AT&T since 2004, but T-Jingle is just so pleasant yet alert. I hear it and I never get sick if it. I first heard it on my old Vibrant and I thought: "huh, that's a pretty catchy ringtones. It's attention-grabbing, but far from obnoxious." I never really had to explain why I was using AT&T, but had a T-Mobile phone and ringtone. MediaNET ftw, though.

The new blackberry Z10 or Note 2 now?

I use to be the guy walking around with my cool blackberry and use their unified social settings.
Now, I have one line that can be used for upgrading. (plus loyalty discount on all the new phones + 2 year contract)
My dad wants the note 2. And I have the note 2.
Should I use my upgrade towards the new blackberry or get the nexus 4? Or keep the note 2. And why?
I Just wanna hear from different people's perspectives on this situation.
Sent from my SGH-T889 using Tapatalk 2
if you are getting bored of note 2 then try something else new and tell your dad to use your note 2
Well at the end of the day its your decision to make...but with that said...I would say check the Z10 out thoroughly because its new territory and app support and etc... The lg nexus 4 is a beautiful device but you'd be giving up memory card support... Yea I would do a check list as far what you need it for and what features you can and cannot live without ...

Dont buy z10.....my company gave it and battery only lasts 2-3 hours with normal use.....and My note lasts 10-12 hours with heavy use.
I use to be the BlackBerry king.... But at the end of the day a BlackBerry is just that a BlackBerry and the Note is the phone of the gods! Super fast, killer battery and much more.

The one thing about the qnx os, mm is its smooth, the n4 is the only phone ive used that compares. The web browser on my Playbook was awesome.
The app world is horrific, you will have a hard time adjusting. I would wait for the next gen of BlackBerry to pick up a device.

To be honest, on my playbook, the os is superb, using bezel gestures as opposed to buttons is awesome. Android didn't catch up until jelly bean ( 4.2 project butter surpasses it) If BlackBerry can get the app support, and a phone with a decent screen, I would think about it, but for sure not the first generation of bb10. I would have to wait to see if the app world catches up. And for them to debug it. Love my note 2 and nexus 4 too much.
