I accidently increased the DPI of my phone to 240(which war originally 160). the touchwiz launcher was continuously crashing, so i thought that factory reset will work. Now i am stuck at the initial settings of the phone with UNCHANGED DPI and cant go on further. I tried to extract build.prop file using adb but its gets stuck after the command and doesnt proceed further .I am unable to get the build.prop file for editing.
Please help me please!! My phone is GT-S6812 (dous)!!

this is for s6810p. i guess will work on s6812 ,here flash this build.prop via CWM or recovery

okay,i will help you,but i need time to research about your device to make build.prop is compatible with your device
EDIT:
after i compare with corsicanu rom of your build.prop,now i upload here,please report when is working or not,if you have a problem with ringtone tonification, i am clear that line cause when the noif or ringtone not available on ypur device,is can make a crashes

It happened for me while flashing doky's DDLA3...just remove battery,place it back...enter recovery mode(vol up+home+power) and wioe data...then reboot

Just few mins before with the help of ur team i finally rooted my htc wfs n took backup of my current rom.
I started installing jelly bean 4.1.2 as my first custom rom, but while installing first i got "status 7" error....So i searched and got a solution to delete first line in updater-script and started reinstalling, but now i am facing "status 6" error...
Please help me out in installing this.

okay this should be working put this meta-inf in your rom and then flash it.
FYI. use .zip format whenever it's upto any zip related to android because .rar won't work with recovery.

Its my first custom rom m using n its fine..
If i open camera nor video, the screen is blur i cant see the exact image nor video. But once i captured it then the image appears fine in gallery..Reason behind this...?

That's because the camera app in jellybean was not fully compatible with our wfs... BT now it's made fully working by the genius dev jdevs..:thumbup:
So u download the latest 4.2.2 jellybean built by jdev... It is almost bug free...

Then I realized than my Grand was working great, but I can't make phone calls. I found this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317298
and tried to flash the modem file from there using ODIN, but when I try to do it, it always ends with "fail". I don't want to go back to stock rom, anyone can give me some help?

If you've got the FAIL message is probably because your phone is the i9082 and not the i9082l.

Thanks! It didn't work because my phone is the i9080l, the one without dual sim.
How can I find some modem file for i9080l instead of i9082l? I think if I can find it my phone should work.

I am sure someone can help you with that or tell you the procedure how to extract modem file.
Instead of giving your post just "[Q]" as the title, if you write a few words briefing your problem, you might get more replies.

Search on the internet hot to extract the modem file, you're surely gonna find. I'd do it for you is a had a PC, but i just have a MAC

1.Download adb bundle windows
2.Enable usb debugging on ur phone
3.Extract adb bundle windows in pc
4.And go to tools folder and open cmd window(shift+rightclick mouse)
5.Type "monitor" and new program will be opened
6.Now flash the latest xposed v68frm original thread thru dual recovery
7.After that connect ur phone to pc Wen u see the Sony Xperia logo
8.nw in pc it will be like this
I think this guide will help yu to get logcat in bootloops even noobs can understand it

Let me put my two cents here. One way of getting a full log from boot is using Liveboot By Chainfire. This is how you can use it:
Install the app
Grant SU privileges to the app
Open the app and select "Save Logs"
Reboot your phone and see how the liveboot works
Using your file explorer copy the file /cache/liveboot.log to your SD Card and save it for later
Install the exposed apk
Reboot again your phone but this time enter to recovery and flash the framework
Wipe cache and dalvik and reboot
The liveboot will record the log file and wait for the bootloop
As soon as the phone reboots and vibrates enter into recovery
Using the file manager from the recovery copy the log on your SD Card
Flash the uninstaller and get rid of the bootloop
On your SD Card now you have two logcats, one without the xposed and one with it.
Finally we can share both of them so the devs can analyze them

Hope so...because once Sony builds a software to a phone it continues with that framework table so iam nt thinkn dat they will change wen upgrading to 5.0.2>5.1 so there will be 50-50chances..
