Gummy rom for 5110? - Galaxy Note 8.0 (Tablet) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooti

I just installed 4.4.2 Gummy Kang rom on my old Nook color and on my newer Hisense Sero 7 pro and am really impressed with this rom. Is there any devs thinking about possibly developing this rom for the gt-n5110? I would be happy to give any feedback on the rom for you along with logs if needed.
What other roms are as light yet as full featured as Gummy? I would be interestested. I have tried most of the roms in the note 8 section and none are quite like this rom.
Thank you for any and all input.

What is this ROM?
What are the key features of this ROM as compared with CM11.0? Many thanks for sharing your experience

It is very smooth and has custom features that you would normally have to load Xposed Modules to obtain. Such as customizable notification bar and drop down window for starters. It's like carbon rom or pacman but much lighter and I think smoother.

thoughts on best rom

I know this question will cause some debate but what would you say is the best rom for the galaxy nexus?
ARHD

What does that mean??
You didn't see a rom in the dec section that might be abbreviated ARHD? Or any of the other "what's the best rom" threads, for that matter?

How about AOKP? Try that abbreviation
Terminators run on Android
I'm using rootzboat. I'm really good.

Definitely Android Revolution HD (ARHD). I tried others but none were as sweet as ARHD.
I used android revolution but was tired of being on 4.0.2 as the developer was waiting for Google to drop 4.0.3 binaries.
And Franco's kernel was for 4.0.3 only. So I started using Aokp and I simply love it. Aokp + Franco Kernel is a amazing mix for performance and battery.
Aokp also adds new features such as power saver to help with battery and with various status bar tweaks.
Aokp +, Franco kernel.... Nothing gets any better. Also Aokp pushes updates every other day so you can expect goodies every 3-5 days.

Always use Paul O'Brien Modaco roms. They simply work and let you get on with customising your phone.

RootzBoat is by far my favorite. I like how it stay's true to AOSP and just adds little extras. Nothing too fancy and feels smooth.
I haven't installed one yet...I'm looking at Android Revolution and AOKP right now, but leaning toward the latter because I'd love to give Franco's a shot. Problem is I'm kind of thinking I should just wait for 4.0.3 to drop and go from there. I'd like to get it the day it drops, if possible.
Right now I'm just using stock rooted+unlocked with the 4.0.3 radio firmware. I'd love to install some graphical mods (mainly a status bar battery mod) but can't on Stock =(

I used arhd since getting the phone. But wanted 4.0.3. So switched to aokp. But for some reason had delays when unlocking the phone. And sometimes when typing. Tried wiping etc. No joy
So I am now using eagles blood with Franco kernal and can't fault it at all. Fb sync and the lock screen and great features.
For a perfect from I would want the power saver and UI mods of aokp. With the cm9 launcher mods. And the eb lock screen. Someone want to make it for me!

Haven't tried any others, but Axiom is great. Wait for 2.4 update for VZW services fix though.
AOKP looks cool. They have the HC quick settings menu and a slew of options. Pretty slick.
RootzBoat has a good rom too with lots of options. I just hate how they label everything RootzBoat (wallpaper, carrier id, etc). I'm also using AOSP CM9 Kangs too. They're all fun. I typically flip between them when one has a few feature that I like.
RootzBoat has a Centered clock option, notification LED color options, and a 4-way lockscreen... but no notification toggles.
I get awesome battery on my CM9 Kang. BIG difference between it and RootzBoat.
I also noticed that MIUI was updated yesterday to a pretty usable state. I haven't personally tried it, and there are some bugs still, but it should be useable now.
AOKP rocks! But I cant wait to see how CM9 develops. They have to add something special to make me leave AOKP.
Me too I've tried other 4.0.3 but to me they just don't compare to the constant smoothness of ARHD

Tweaked Rom is the way to go since it would offer All the TW goodness you would need but debloated and has options to customize the rom further with a built in app (Status Bar Mods, Lockscreen Mods, etc....)
Also look up the "Pimp My Rom" thread to read up on their App (Which can be found on the Play Store) but it will offer many tweaks that you can conduct on this rom. (WiFi tweaks, 3g 4g tweaks, etc....)
Tweaked rom is that what its called ? Sorry

Here ya go brotha
Yes, tweaked for a TW ROM or if you wanna know what vanilla android is kinda about, we have a great Cyanogen Mod 10.1 ROM that is updated nightly

[Q] Need fully stable att sg3 rom with theme chooser

Tittle says it all I would like it to be fully stable with theme chooser and multi view etc.
You could try the omega rom
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1663656
Currently using it but I have difgerent custom kernel.
So far it's pretty stable like stock and I haven't encountered any problems yet, been using for about 3 weeks now.
Hope this helped!

ALL of the ROMs are fully stable. Just read the threads and you will see what the members think of them
Only YOU can decide what is stable for YOU the way YOU use your phone

[Q] is there any good AOSP ROM fro N7100 ?

i need an AOSP rom for my n7100 and i can't choose one
i need stable system and battery life saver ROM
Pretty much, all of the 4.2.2 based roms are good. Personally, I use either ProBam or Carbon. Anything that is 4.3 is still in alpha stages and are unstable

AOSP Rom
I second that, Probam v4.2 is really nice. Rootbox as well

For battery combined with no bugs, stability and speed I recommend thors rom, google tegraowners.net it's not on XDA. Carbonrom on here is a great rom too, I'd also combine it with thor's kernel.
Then last but not least, SlimBean rom! It's my current daily and battery with included kernel is very decent and it's the current AOSP 4.3 rom with the least bugs imo. If you really can't live with any bugs go for the 4.2.2 version.
Only bugs I have in SlimBean beta2 4.3 is graphic glitches in stock browser and gmail.. But it's absolutely doable, besides that it's ultrafast and the customisation options are sweet
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda app-developers app
Probam is excellent..it has various features and is updated frequently (recently 4.3 was release)..I personally used it for 3 weeks and found it working smooth and lag free
Then comes resurrection and illusion rom..I haven't tried them but they were the 'rom of the week' in note2root site by zedomax
Sent from my AweSoMe ☆♥Note2♥☆
Well although its TW Alliance is good. It looks exactly like a AOSP Rom anf it even has the CRT effect but it keeps the S apps

Tablet UI

Was wondering if anyone knew a build.prop edit or any other method that would enable tablet UI on cm10.1

As far as I know, only Paranoid Android can modify the System UI to achieve these changes. Thankfully we have a PAC ROM (Combination of Paranoid, CM, and AOKP), in the Original Development Section! It does not support Tablet UI at the moment, but I am using it right now, and I have it in Phablet mode, which is amazing, because it maximizes the screen size.
Has the same bugs as CM, as they took the build tree and repos from the CM build, and ported it over, but I've been using it for 2 days, and it is AMAZING. Has Halo, PIE, ROM Controls, and Hybrid Options. you should check it out!
