Hey a friend of mine has asking me to release my own rom for the hermes. Some of u may know me from the Athena Project and my rom for the athena. Want to know if u guys are interested in a rom by me for the hermes. would probably be 18533 build. If there is a request for a rom then i want to know if i should make a exact replica of the AP Touch 3.0 rom for the hermes or take some stuff out? Also is there a need for a vanilla?

That would be great if U cooked a replica of the AP Touch 3.0 rom for the hermes arena!!! I saw the 2.0 detail thread but no detail info on the 3.0 thread yet.
Yeah please post us a nice Hermes rom, as I am the friend that's been bugging you for it the whole evening.

I would love a new ROM to try and your Athena ROMs look interesting!
My only request would be to take a look at the possibility of lighter ROM as there are a lot of CABs for load the various features.

I really liked the ROMS from Schap. And his 4.4 beta ROM had VOIP enabled. Unfortunately this ROM is beta only and is time-bombed

how do i know what type of rom i'm using?
there is any software that i can installed without changing my rom? because i'm prefer to use current rom and not changing it which it not cause any trouble to me yet..

1 more question, what actually they mean by rom?
i'm new user, quite not familiar with the word.
ROM stands for read only memory. Basically your phone will have come with the Stock ROM (Windows 6.1) but its like a basic version. Now because HTC and the phone companies like Orange, O2 etc are not that forthcoming with updates etc due to new phones being constantly announced, there are some really clever people on here who have taken either Windows 6.1 or the newer 6.5 and made if you will, custom ROM's.
I was quite confused as to how to update to these new ROM's with their being so many of them but its an easy process once you get the hang of it. I have tried about 3 different 6.5 Roms, and at the moment have gone back to Dutty's 3.9 XT which is a 6.1 rom.
Windows Mobile is so customizable, and thats what these Chefs (Rom creators) are doing. Check out the ROM's from Dutty, Miri, NRG etc they have all done fantastic jobs.

Well I don't have any troubles but there is always some bugs since most of the roms are not stable yet since (as far as I know) neither windows mobile 6.5 or htc sense is completed. When they're updated rom cooks update their roms also so when you start flashing you might want to flash new one when cooks release it, but you don't have to of course. But I started flashing roms one day after I bought my Blackstone.
The screenshots are from NRGZ28's energy rom photon with manila 2.5. I haven't use Miri's rom but I can suggest you NRGZ28's.
Also you'll need to read Dummies guide: flashing 1.56+ roms [v 2.0] carefully. Good luck and have fun with new roms

Hey guys this isnt my first time flashing my device but ive run into a little problem:
I flashed my HTC diamond before to the Gen.Y D2 R5.5 ROM. After I had to return my device for warranty so i flashed it back to the original Rogers Rom and Radio.
I got my new device and now ive been looking at these few ROMS or themes or w/e u want to call them:
|6.5.5|WWE| ★ Energy Series (23563/21899) ★ |Apr 21| Sense 2.5 ! - GTX Themed is what i want to put on my phone if i put this ROM
GTX Sense 2.5 - (looks beautiful but i can see its cancelled and is continued by the lower ROM chef)
[PRJ] [THEME] [Prev] GTX Sense 2.5 Theme - Continuation of development - Continuation of the above one and is so nice but I dont know how to add it since its a theme and not a rom. Also how do i put it if i just got my diamond straight from Rogers.
I would like to put the last of the 3 but Im not sure how since it isnt a ROM so can someone please tell me step by step?
Also if I want to put the first one as well is all i need to do again do flash it with signed hardspl 1.93...and then upgrade the radio and put that rom? Because I tried to use hardspl signed 1.93 but it doesnt show anything in the folder but a .nbh file and no custom ruu app inside.
