If your phone is rooted, then Titanium Backup or Root Delete or /system/app/delete app from the playstore are the best. If not rooted, you cant do anything, unfortunately.

I installed the app to remove but when i tried to remove the device restarting and start optimizing apps again

Which app are you using to delete the apps. Some versions of Titanium backup may not work. So use root delete app or /system/app mover app.

I have tried this as well, using paid version of Root Explorer and TB PRO. Unable to delete system apps.
I am thinking that this maybe because of the S-ON that we have.
As of now, I cannot delete bloatwares inside the system app.

Did u use the system write disable mod in the original development forum... Use that and u will be able to have most of the features like that of s-off.... Before this mod i couldn't permanently delete the apps and couldn't install some of the apps like adaway xposed etc... Using this mod disables the system write protection... So we can enjoy most of the benefits of s-off.....

Use adb while in recovery mode to remove it, as the above poster said, you need s-off for write access to /system/ while booted

How to preserve softwares

Just a question regarding upgrading from a one ROM to another ROM, can we like preserve the applications that we had install in our phone so that we don't have to reinstall them again? Or we have to reinstall everything? What about paid applications does market automatically knows that you've purchase the app already? Thanks...

You can use an app called Titanium Backup to save copies of your applications and their settings. Then restore them back again on the new ROM. Usually the apps restore automatically anyway once you enter your google account details onto the phone, it will download all the apps you had installed previously. If you do it this way all your settings will be lost though.
And yes, market will remeber what apps you purchased.
Thanks for the quick response.. Much appreciated...

How to backup apps in sd card?

Hi all
I am running the stock rooted froyo rom...i am also s-off and have installed a2sd+ and almost all my apps have been automatically shifted there....
My question is, if i wanna flash a new rom how can i retain those apps and its state (like lvl 2 in a certain game)...is there a way to backup and restore?

Titanium backup in the Market, there's a free and a paid version.
Free version backs it up just as the paid one.
The main difference in the paid version I noticed is when restoring, you don't have to click anything when batch restoring.
With free version you have to backup and restore every App manual.
If you have 100+ Apps, it will take a long time....

you can just click batch/backup all apps + system data. no need to click them all
Thank You!
DidnĀ“t see that....
I've seen threads reporting issues on app restore of titanium backup.
Is compatible wif apps alrdy on a2sd+?

i think its the best backup app there is, never had problems with it

integration of downloaded apks into rom.

dudes does any one know how to integrate any downloaded apks( those with a backup copy) into cm7 #177 or any other rom from the phone itself( conditioning that the rom is currently installed and running) . i know ther is an option in titanium backup latest version, but it implies only to integration of updates of system applications only. but i need to integrate downloaded/ installed app to the current rom. is there any apps available in market or some where else which can do what i need? i ask becose i know rom cooking is a hard process and that needs an update flashing. so i just want to avoid it. or can i do it with adb with a mounted system partition? can any body help me?
to moderators:- if i posted this thread in wrong section, pls move to appropriate section. as i know it is a question topic, but i put it here due to the reason that it is some thing about rom cooking/ updating.

not exactly adding into zip. but need to add into the currently installed rom, all the way from phone itself( more convenient) or from a computer.

I tried this moving of downloaded apk to system app long time back.
It has both positive and negative effects. By moving an app to system , it loads everytime the system boots making the startup slower. And by moving apps to system u don't need to reinstall those apps on hard reset.
To move a downloaded app to system just move the apk from /data/app to /system/app and change its permissions to rw-r-r. Then clear the application data and cache (also dalvik cache). Then restart the phone to check whether the app is working or not. One thing is recommended. Donot rename the apk. Most of the apk names in /data/app will be like com.xyz.abc. Eventhough most apks I tried worked with any name.
And inspite of doing all these some apps will not work when moved to system partition. Perfect examples are "x-plore" , "swype" , "operamini".

[Q] Random reboot when trying to uninstall apps

Hi guys need help regarding random reboot after trying to uninstall system apps like Google Drive, newsstand, etc.
The problem is right after I uninstall system apps it will reboot. And after I check it again using root Explorer, the app is still there.
My device is a5dwg stock rooted.
Already tried the wp_mod.ko file but it didn't work.
Did something is wrong or did I miss something?

Flash this, it should solve your issue.

After flashing, then delete the system apps you want to get rid of.

If you flashed that already, maybe it's the file explorer your using?
Try ES File Explorer as I have had no issues with that, or the app "System App Remover"
