Only edit updater script or install manually
put Googlekeyboard in system/app and set permissions 644 and move lib to system/lib and put 644 permissions

I installed Velvet.apk first then play service.

Won't be that clear six months from now, when everybody will have forgotten about the developer preview and someone will stumble upon this thread. How will he/she tell whether it is about the "real" apps or the developer preview versions?
Doesn't cost anything to be precise, IMHO.
Nevermind, i copy the apk on System/Priv-app put the right permission and restart with wipe cache/dalvik and no error, anyway i don't know what is the difference

Really? Then you should ask him to specify the devs preview version (there'll be more) and that is for Nexus 5 and 7, and integrate the details in the file name since you might download and later on forget where from.
Come on dude...
P.D. And the apps are real, not imaginary. Dev preview doesn't mean fake, but early stage developement.

Shouldn't cause any issues cos the CM OTAs only update system. There's no user data being wiped with the OTAs. I for one haven't faced any issues with CM11 and the Android L apps.

Hey I have a nexus 4 and everytime I try to put the file in the system/app it does not work. I really like the transparent any help would be nice.
Not working for me as well, replaced the file after clearing data and after reboot nothing changed.
EDIT:
Replacing the file not working with ES explorer since it doesnt have write permissions, i managed to replace the file with root explorer, but after reboot the play store getting FC right on start (wont even open).

Did u 2 follow the instruction exactly? just tell what u have done
I cleared the data of google play, then renamed the file to Phonesky , then moved from sd card to system/app, rebooted, and thats it.

So what happens is the I'm running cm 10.1 and while using file manger I try to paste the sky.apk and it keeps failing when I do it in system/app. I have no clue why but any help would be appreciated.

maybe its because you dont have write permissions, use root explorer, and when in system/app press the "mount R/W" button at the top.

yeah, because this is an old version and the play store always auto-updates. check the version after the colors have reverted...I guarantee it's been updated and that's why.

I can add option in AROMA to install unified storage by Coldbird. Is this good?
I asked Coldbird for his permission and the setting to fully implement this in KulayOS.

Have you ever flash other rom before? and have you unified the storage yet?
I suggest you to wipe everything. the system, dalvik-cache partition, user data and android secure(in TWRP)
*optional - wipe internal storage
Make sure to copy the ROM into sd card.

I do allways make a FULL wipe on everything except External SD... i don`t care about bakup`s because i have all my aplications on APK on external SD...

that is my problem, too...but nobody does give an answer to that question...applying theme stopps at 20% and nothing changes...

Outlook and bugs CM 11 M8 is stock themed and it has less bugs since it has somehow as clear code as this ROM.

Even if it don't make the recent apps exactly like android lollipop. It worth a try [emoji4]
1. Download the l - recents for cm11.zip from the below link
2. Put the zip in root folder of phone memory
3.boot into recovery
4. Flash the zip
5. Wipe caches
6. Reebot system
7. Install any theme which has bigger recent panel like paper ui, l kat etc.,
8. If u want to revert back??? Just flash the ROM without wiping anything.

1. Download the l - recents for cm11.zip from the below link
2. Put the zip in root folder of phone memory
3.boot into recovery
4. Flash the zip
5. Wipe caches
6. Reebot system
7. Install any theme which has bigger recent panel like paper ui, l kat etc.,
8. If u want to revert back??? Just flash the ROM without wiping anything.

Recent application,I'm getting like this,it is correct or not.
I'm using levo theme in cm11 r23.

asslamu alekum..here is the MIUI v5 4.8.9 by dom3616 but i try to make some fix on it:
what i did fixed is
v2 change logo:
-fixing apps to SD and make SD card the default for saving.
-add Reboter app to use it for boot to recovery etc...and a good athan apps.
v1 change logo:
1-wifi and hotspot working fine now even if you change the settings of the wifi hotspot it will change.before it was not save any change of hospot wifi settings.
2-contacs import export working now.
3-make the lock screen smother and faster.
4-apns fixed.
5-fix the proximity sensor.
6-i add some programs as: estrong file manger and OPMM( opera mini mod and translated to english too) xposed and xposed model nova launcher and its telsa appk...
**to use nova launcher you must go to settings>disaple>default lancher and change it from there.
**bug still noticed:
-widget contact cant be created..

**Download the RAR file and extract it you will find the rom inside
**flash it as usual by team win recovery v 2.8 7 wipe cach and system delvi cach etc...

to fix that open any working root file manger and go to system\etc and delete the gps.conf file then reboot your phone:good:
for nokia XL users you can use this rom but after flashing this rom you must flash this patch in the attachment before first boot

the problem with APP to SD is solved with alternative application like APP master . Link2SD and .....
This Rom i think is the best Rom for NokiaX every thing (WIFI, Portable Wifi, Sensors, APN, ....) works fine and the battery life is very very very good.

sins I am happy to hear that.and abut the point 4 of what I did fixed.I mean mass storage fixed.I forget to copy the files that's responsible about that and it will make the apps to installed in SD by default..I will upload the files soon.so brother sins you will have just multi language problem now...
