Installed the APKs, applied the tutorial and it screwed google search on my phone!
now "Ok Google" hotword detection now doesn't *even* works when google now app is active
settings -> "phone search" show a blank screen
in settings> "Voice" there's no "Audio History" item
**edit#3**
Fixed by resetting Google Search and Google Play Service to factory defaults (removed upgrades) than updating both with play store
Will not touch this anymore to be on the safe side.

I had a similar issue and was told by someone who loads a lot of these that the apks for the store have to be installed in proper order. I believe if I remember correctly that it was just one of them that had to be installed first and the others didn't matter, but cannot remember which one. I think it might have been the framework, but am not positive about that. If I am incorrect about this I'm sure someone will chime in and answer! You could always try it and if it didn't work remove them and instal in a different order.
You do not have to uninstall any of the 4 google related apks. Simply reinstall them from adb with -r option.
Also, there are later versions of Google Play Services and Google Play Store apps.
Google Play Services = Latest is 6.1.83
Google Play Store = Latest is 5.0.31
I can confirm they both work on FTVs (with the latest firmware)
Download links for the updated apks
Links for download:
Google Play Services: http://www.mediafire.com/download/4721cgqc9ktjj5m/Google_Play_Services_v6.1.83_(1522025-036).apk
Google Play Store: http://www.mediafire.com/download/l3s46qotly4skkg/Google_Play_Store_v5.0.31.apk
In settings enable unknown source, its next to a adb. Install google account, google play service, framework and google play store. After that I deleted youtube, and installed youtube google tv from the play store. This worked for me.

Google Assistant for the HTC Desire EYE

Google Assistant is a great addition to Android and it works like Siri. You can even ask it whether she likes Siri!
It was previously available only in Google smartphones but Google gradually started giving it out to many others running Marshmallow and Nougat a few months back.
Only for Android Marshmallow users!!! You can find an awesome Marshmallow 6.0.1 ROM from xxMiniWhopperxx on this forum. I'm using it too.
:good::good::good: Thanks to xxMiniWhopperxx :good::good::good:
If you're using a custom OS like CyanogenMod you can get it with the latest Open GApps Aroma package.
The software update which includes the Google Assistant is not available in many countries for the Desire Eye.
Even the marshmallow update is not available in many countries.
To have Google Assistant you phone language should be set to English (US)
Google Assistant replaces Google Now and includes a ton more features !!

Hey. Can you give feedback on the firmware?
works great but i stick to cm12 just so i can use cm themes and xposed. so now we've got 3 roms worth using on our us version
is there any issues with this rom? what about the camera?
i've been using cm 12.1 by betahydri, but i've beeen having stability issues (phone freezes, black screen, cannot answer the call, switches apps on it's own). now i decided it's time to make a change... i hope flyme os is stable...
are there any extra instructions for installing or do I just copy the zip file to my phone and then install it from twrp like usual?
Edit: install is as said, only queue the zip and it works.
One more question. Are there any other launchers that work fine with flyme os? And I'm missing Contacts app although there are contacts in the calls app.
Ok, I'm quitting this ROM. Everything is working great, except for the camera, which freezes if you switch from back to front camera. It also malfunctions if you move it too fast or sth.... So it's not possible to use it normally.
Hello, for the ones that install this ROM do you notice any improvement on the battery life?, i'm on a CUCUOS and the battery life is awfull.
Apart from the camera problem is the GPS problem, i recieve no signal...back again to CUOCUO :'(

Wipe data of Google play services
Does it open at all or does it show some kind of error message in the dialog when you try to open?

It will open but when it tries to contact the bank after I confirm the card details when trying to set up Google pay, I'll get a white screen
On my phone Google Pay (plus a bunch of other banking apps) works perfectly with Magisk Hide. Your problem is probably unrelated to root. Try this: go offline and wipe the data of Google Pay, Google Play Services, Google Services Framework, Google Play Store. Then reboot, go online and see if things improve.
When Magisk hide doesn't work for me, I've found that using the function in the Magisk application to "install Magisk under random name" then deleting the regular Magisk app fixed all issues for me. May be worth a try.

I hid all Google apps services, anything with Google in app sub name. Make sure magisk app is hidden. Reboot. Then wipe storage and cache on everything with Google in it's subname. Reboot. Profit

Android 13 by default doesn't allow apps outside Play Store to grant accessibility.
Try accessibility manager
