[Q]: Cam-Sound too quietly - Desire 816 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi good evening,
I know that I can toggle the Cam-Sound (Klick) on and off.
But the sound is tooo quietly. I´m not able to hear when the pic is taken.
Is there a possibility to make the "clic" louder?

Yes, try to use another .wav-s, which are louder. Jasjar has no volume problems, but default sounds are very quiet. I use my own ringtones, which are so loud that my friends hate when it rings, they are scared then. Or You can edit the volume of the high-middle frequencies (3-5 kHz) of the default sounds with a sound editor software (for ex: Sound Forge), and normalize to 0dB. It will be much louder.
just upgrade with last M5000 ROM (June Upgradeà and it's Ok

I don't think between ROMs there are volume differences. I think You maybe forgot to check volume level with the previous one.
nope I have tried everything before upgrading including Regestry twicks
I have a 2d SPV and same problem

can wmake the loudspeaker louder?

ive noticed on some roms the loudspeaker is attacked and made really quiet is there a reg edit to make it louder?
ie for ringtones
If the ROM have WOW SRS, disable it, it should restore volume level.
hi i done that already thanks for the reply
and as for bloody SRSwow shud be more like SRScr*p but still cud do with being a tad louder

What did you change in the registry then? Nice to see the location but what did you add / remove?????
Finding a ROM that enables setacousticparam during initial boot up increases the speaker volume a lot. I dont think SRS WOW does any good for speaker, it does a great job for head phones though!
Yeah, most of the DVH roms have setacousticparam during initial boot up and it makes a difference!
Im quite sure CRC's roms also have that.

Louder Volume Hack???

Hi guys,
Is there any app or some sort of hack out there to make the ringtones louder or have the speakerphone louder. I came across this thing but the signing up is closed for now so I can't really check it out.

+1
im running ICJ 3.4
volume is overall extremely low, but especially in calls
already tried awesome beats, ac!d, v4a and codex sound, but it doesn't really help...
as awesome beats gives me issues, i'm on codex v2.0 with v4a now.
i have the feeling it makes it a little better, but not the incall volume.
any help would be highly appreciated! :fingers-crossed:
Just an idea, i'm not really sure if this can solve the problem but you can always try (make a backup before) and go back if it doesn't work:
