Note 2 "died"?

Hi guys.
Someone help me. Was having problems with my note 2 switching off by itself so tried factory reset. While the reset was in progress I springed my battery off by mistake. The phone now just reboots from "Samsung galaxy note 2 n7100" then shows the Android robot, then back to"Samsung galaxy note 2 n7100"....
Cannot boot into recover but can get to download mode. Tried reinstalling another rom (not custom) via odin but outcome is same as above.
Is my phone a write-off? The phone is currently not even being recognised by the computer. ..thought it was usb drivers but not the case. Reinstalled drivers and my friends phone is recognized very well.
Kies does not even detect the phone.
Please help guys.

Hi. Sorry for bothering again. The site you referred me to had a Mexican telcel rom. I am using the international version of note 2. It's it fine to Flash this rom? Secondly, I did not see any PIT file links. Might you have a link to this?
Thanks

Well this link has most of the roms..
Try a different usb port if phone is not detected in download mode & exit kies while using odin!
Thanks.

There is no solution
There are PIT flashing instructions in the first link and you can get the PIT file here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2140636
I'd suggest reading over Dr Keaton's guides first to be sure too.

I think your phone has an SDS bug.
Check your phone's product name in download mode.if it showing blank/unknown then surely you had bricked this device beyond repair.

Happened to me earlier tonight
Extremely stressful
Was expecting to have to buy a new phone
However managed to salvage from your exact situation...... Which model do you have.... If it's the 16gb ... There is pit provided by dr ketan. Flash it with a recovery from odin while I'm download mode.
It will re partition and you will have access to recovery after that
Don't panic. But try the stock image first (didn't work for me either)... Got desperate and pit worked in a last ditch attempt

After many searches on the net, i think its a emmc death syndrom,
can i reapaire it by software ??
How much cost its reparing ???
The pit on post 3 worked for me
Select the pit file in odin and flash recovery at the SAME time

Thanks, that worked for me, selected pit and philz recovery (AP) in Odin 3.09.
So 3 of us soft bricked within 24 hours. I followed instructions exactly. Dunno what went wrong. At least this makes it less likely that we all have the exact same hardware fault. I swear.. I thought I would have to go out and buy a new phone today
