Nice
Boots very fast. Has lots of custom tweaks I'll probably never use, and standard CyanogenMod settings like brightness slider and quick settings ribbon on status/notification pane were difficult to locate.
Gravity Box causes navigation panel (tablet mode) to turn-on and must deselect each boot.

First off, gravity box isn't compatible with anything except AOSP.

Gravity Box is working good but for the in-persistent nav bar setting. After removing Gravity Box, it's disabled by default.
No soft reboot on the power menu. Could install Xposed APM+.
Xposed Additions enables global rotation for almost all apps including desktop, dialer, etc. but commandeers or negates the Carbon settings and you then have to manually setup in Xposed Additions.
Don't like the screen wake while in pocket setting? You can disable the hardware home key while screen is off by editing /system/usr/keylayout/7x27a_kp.kl (text file). Just need to have root write privileges turned on in file manager.

App Ops is missing some of the crucial privlidges of boot and network. Xposed/DonkyGuard and/or Cydia Substrate may enable these. Xposed BootManager only handles limited user apps, so I end up freezing more system apps than should be necessary.

-fixed- bluetooth music skipping bug
Used bluetooth for the first time with this ROM and experienced the familiar, songs incessantly skipping.
Fixed by editing init.lge.target.sh file in /system/etc/. Good practice is to create a backup of the file before opening with a text edit app.
Look for "case$device in
"e610"..."
Change "setprop lpa.decode true" to "setprop lpa.decode false" (without "")
Save text file (no file extension), hard reboot. I tried a soft reboot the first time and didn't take, so I powered it off and manually cold booted before bluetooth music worked correctly.
Aside: I realize that I've been using soft reboot too often and a couple of other things finally fixed themselves after powering down phone and cold booting (was having MTP connection issues due to bad BusyBox install).

Thank you!!

Thanks for your work.
I tried this rom and as you said there is camera problem (can't connect camera). Other features is working but ui is a little bit laggy. Thanks again.
Testing on i8190n:
Reboot to recovery doesn't work (it just loops in the shutting down window) Also power off is the same, it may be the case for all the power off/reboot options.
Everytime I went into mobile networks it would say that the prefered network type was "LTE" even though I had set it to 2g/3g.
I got 9711 points in antutu
I like it so far, and cant wait until the bugs are fixed. Good work

Thanks mate.
I did some investigation on the reboot/shutdown issue: It does both shutdown and reboot (also to recovery/bootleader), but always hangs at "performing low-level shutdown" for 6 minutes before actually doing so. Not sure what's causing this yet, but will follow this up. Any ideas anyone?
Try to ask maclaw or oliverg96 they already fixed it. And actually you could try to compile maclaw's kernel source as it's up to date...?

Correct! He just doesn't begrudge the success to other developers, As a long time user, I observed it with oliver, thehacka yesterday in kevinjoa`s thread and like already expected, today here. I think, it is more than embarrassing - off topic end.

* Not that many visual changes since the last build just clean up of code, etc
Jan-1
* Setup a build bot. builds are automatically compiled at 10am est everyday. a repo sync and merge with upstream cm is done prior to each build. These ROMs are of course unofficial both in the eyes of the CM team and myself. Only builds linked to in the the OP are going to be supported by me. But if all goes well the unofficial nightlies should run just the same. just updated. Check below for link.
Dec-24
* Merged with CM as of time of compile
* Kernel updated to Linux 3.4.75
* Cherry-picked commit to enable more mobile network selection options
Dec-14

* New cm boot animation
* All the camera stuff from cm-10.2 has been merged back in (ZSL support etc)
* Netfilx should work correctly now
* audio source was rebased (upstream)
* Merged all upstream kernel changes
* Just a lot of updates in general
* Added GooManager update notification support
Nov-18
* Fixed some GPS issues
* Fixed incorrect battery stats (upstream)
* Cherry-pick: A few misc audio fixes to try and fix skipping playback of flac audio

* Cherry-pick: Framework : Make notification-shade-collapse-after-dismiss behaviour configurable
* Cherry-pick: QuickSettings: Update all QS drawables to fit KitKat
* Kernel: msm: vidc: Initialize kernel space stack variables (upstream)
* Any other upstream changes since the last build
NOTE: all changes labeled "Cherry-Pick" are patches from gerrit
Nov-15
* Fixed DL linkx (my build server is no more if anyone somehow has access to one for work or something it would and wants to share PM me. I lost my other one due to lack of funds...
* IR Blaster works
* Other things i cant remember due to the whole server mess
Nov-14
* sdcard issues should be fully fixed now
* Fixed proximity sensor
* Upstream updates by CM
* I feel like I'm forgetting a couple other things as well
Nov-13
* Fixed odd issues with sdcard mounting
* Build optimizations that got removed during the 4.4 merge are back now
* A whole bunch of updates by cm to frameworks, as well as media and display drivers
* Lots of bluetooth updates, and more that I'm forgetting, but a lot of bugs you guys mentioned were squashed
Nov-11
* Fixed Camera
* Fixed Home button not bringing up recent apps
* Upstream: display-caf repo synced with CAF
* Upstream: media-caf repo synced with CAF

I've had the camera problem on one of the nightlies a couple of days ago. Also I've experienced a random reboot problem when just normally using my phone. I also noticed that when I play a video like on YouTube sometimes it'll make this loud weird noise.

camera is broken on download in first post and latest nightly 0515
my phone just stays black for 30 sec and the reboots
hoping for a fix
after flashing rom shown in op, i restored my back up ( i have 2 separate ones i tried) and apps that use memory dont work like snapchat whisper and problems moving anything to or from the computer and phone
internet has screwed up as well i believe but i need to check that out to be sure
ive even done all the wipes and super wipe tp try and fix it
mhl/hdmi does not work right?
Well... I had CM10 from AlbinoMan on my Sensation and loved it, thought I would try this out. I saw some people with issues with their camera on newer nightlies, so I flashed the last used by the dev. No go, the camera doesn't work on this version either and my phone has cycled twice and completely just locked up in the first 5 minutes on the ROM. It took me a while trying to figure out what ROM to choose, is this one still active? I'd really like to try to get the camera working rather than switching right away. Anyone have any fixes for it? I'm going to try a few other nightlies, but it doesn't sound like its been fixed.
Edit: Tried a few other nightlies and none of them were stable, so I went to the official CM11. If this ends up getting updated/fixed I'll check it out then. :/
I see there is a new build up I might have to give it a try..

By the way, I'm not 100% sure it's a ROM problem.
Would you mind try using these GApps https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/gapps-dynamic-gapps-t3487192 to see if the SW still crashes?

WaveOS v4.x - Rasmalai
WaveOS is an android custom ROM based on AOSP, focused on delivering a perfect blend of aesthetics, functionality and performance out of the box. The version 4.X is based on Android 11. Various optimizations and enhancements have been merged from CAF and upstream AOSP to maximize performance and battery backup, and improve OS functionality. We provide a unique and beautiful user interface out-of-the-box that's inspired by OnePlus' OxygenOS, and can be tweaked to your liking. We've also added handy features and customizations that improves user experience and proves to be useful at the end of the day, rather than bloating the ROM with unwanted features and customizations that could cause stability issues. We hope you like it! #NeverBetter

Screenshots
Does it support Sunlight mode?
Does it support Wifi Coverage Extend Option?
Does it support whitelisting apps from dark mode?
Does it support MIUI Camera with the same stock 48MP quality?
Does it support adjusting freeform windows despite the manifests?
Does it support skipping unlocking the device with a PIN after a reboot
Does it support invert-nav-bar (force close back button)?
Does it support Game Mode?
Does it kill apps in the background for just switching between them?
Does Mi sound work for wireless and wired headphones?
Does it support pop-up?
Does it show internal shared adopted storage on TWRP?
And does it have ADB over network/NTFS File format/Soft Reboot/Advanced Power Menu/Quick actions via pop-up notifications.
If it does all of these, I may pay the time and effort to change into your ROM despite that I need to resetup Magisk and Edxposed and System Settings.
Hard luck with development
Looks amazing. Looking for Vanilla version.
MichaelMay said:
This ROM does not support those that can't spend a second looking up what it supports and half of the things you are requesting like "game mode" is just nonsense and the other half is AOSP 11 which ALL 11 roms support.
One exception applies, it does use SLMK kernel LMK which is a horrid solution but still better than any other kernel LMK solution, I don't know why devs insist on this age old bull**** when LMKD gets weekly updates and works FAR better. It's this inclusion strategy of kernels by devs who don't understand anything about the Linux kernel that makes me wonder if I shouldn't just start over.
However, you either try it or you don't, no one gives a flying **** which you decide to do so go away and once you are away, stay away.

Nothing wrong with SultanXDA LMK..I had a OnePlus One with his amazing development on and his knowledge is second to none. Yes LMKD is more current, but is a lot more aggressive and kills processes that are needed. I do understand your frustration but I also know the work that Ad!thya does (he was also a developer of Bacon and was responsible for bring-ups on a device that everyone thought would never see life beyond Marshmallow).
I also agree with your statement here about asking daft questions, although some people aren't as well 'versed' with Custom ROM as I think you are.
Looks great! thanks for this man.
This is like miui and oxygen had a baby, its great for every day use. but the camera bug on some apps like telegram and messenger etc is bothering. i wish the next update will fix it

A ROM that has what it takes
I found a bug, when recording the screen, the device's internal audio recording does not work
MichaelMay said:
No, LMKD does NOT kill any processes that are needed, that is the entire point of it, it's part of the android system instead of a hacked together kernel module that is supposed to be equal for all devices of every single ROM out there from all versions.
LMKD uses PSI to determine memory pressure and CANNOT kill needed processes or even relevant ones in the system, the "pinned" stuff is respected by LMKD but not by LMK or SLMK.
Oh and I forgot, the entire "android personalization services" thingy that they all include anyway is designed to use LMKD, if you don't, it won't work right and things will conflict. Most ROM devs don't get how this work yet either and most don't care either for some reason. that is WHY PE is my choice of supported ROM, becacause while they **** up all the time, at least it's AOSP and I can fix it before release.
I've been a kernel dev before either of them were even born.

What rom do you recommend for the redmi note 8?
Does this Rom have the functionality of being able to disable notifications for a set time? own the smart lock?
Strange problem with fonts here and Ukrainian language, most letters are ok with the default font, but some of them is Times New Roman for some reason

Thank you for your effort, smooth rom with great ui, only thing is I'm having slow charging issue (china variant). Hope you fix it, rather than changing kernel (have no choice) honestly, no custom kernel is at par with your QS. Cheers & Best regards!
@Adithya R sir, is it possible to add navigation button customization? like double tap and long press. it's really helpful for people with short fingers.

By 20/feb/2020 you mean 2021 right? Just checking lol
One question does Yuki support KCAL or is it going to include it? Because I had seen that feature on Q Kernel but in R Kernel is no longer available...
Regarding the ROM it's nice to see it again, I remember when It was released for Redmi 3S

the included in the rom never will come with kcal use the separated version.
Awesome looking ROM. Excuse my ignorance, but does this come with a custom kernel or does that have to be flashed seperately?

I'm sorry I don't fully understand and don't think it answers my question, does the ROM by default come with a custom kernel or does it have to be flashed separately?

Curtana
Flashed latest firmware, formated everything a flash so clean it puts bleach to shame. Latest nightly available as of this date (March 8th). No task killer or kernel changes.
Now is there a way to remove the call echo?

I do not understand the silly mania of changing the firmware the firmware of my joyeuse is from miui 11.0.3 I never change it and there is no need until the FW of R to repair the DRM in the note 9 pro.
I do not have echo problems in calls, or in whatsapp or similar.
I recommend you stop changing the firmware unnecessarily.
Now if you suffer from echoes, then take error logs and send them

It is only shown when there is activity to blame for the "puch hole"
When I have more time I add the option for you to configure the network traffic as you like best
Great rom, thanks. If possible, please add the live display setting to change the screen colors and the setting to turn off the screen when double-clicking on the desktop.
Also, if you can add the experience music application, it was in the old version on android 10
finally got around to installing this rom (also sent you a pm OP). its nice seeing some of the OG's still around and ill most likely be using this rom until i upgrade my amount of ram in my pc to compile myself (since when did it take 16gb!! when i started you could compile with like 2 gigs lol) or buy a buildbox. regardless once again appreciate your work! (not to derail your thread but if you have an easy fix for building with less then 16gb of ram please share i would have contributed so much more to our device by now lol
(also it was probably an issue on my end but i was having a hard time installing this until i switched over to PBRP so if anybody else has issues with that give it a try. again probably a me issue though lol
And also 2 more settings are needed - wallpaper in the center and a change in the appearance of the soundbar. These settings, together with the settings described above, are the most necessary, with them this rom will be the best of the best.
