Hey Guy
My xperia Ion was very smooth with ICS few days ago, but when i upgrade it to JB (i have been waiting it for a long time), it's getting lagger and lagger like below:
- APP DRAW : very lag, not smooth like ISC FW, what is the thing in JB called "Project butter"? I heard that it make android smooth as much as IOS. But i dont see this on JB Xperia ION, this is so disappointing.
- FACEBOOK, CHROME ... APP: disappointing again. They're so lag that i have to uninstall them immediately.
- WALKMAN: What happen with my favorite music player, the quanlity of music is getting so bad.
- CAMERA: capture movie add the highest resolution (Full HD) is getting lag, it dont happen in ICS FM
Please give me some solution to bring back the smooth i have had on ISC FW to the new JB FW on my ION

The Project Button was a project to try to bring smoothness to the whole UI. It doesn't promise a lag-free experience. Did you made a clean or dirty install? Facebook app has been getting faster and faster with each update. Chrome is really slow because it was built based on PC's version, not a Android app. Also, you have a 2010 processor in your phone. It isn't one of the best. Walkman in JB is 10x better, sound quality wise, for me... Camera problem is because Sony implemented some new drivers that aren't really compatible with our processor, so it lags a bit...
Android JB in Xperia Ion is Awesome
I flashed Android JB in My Xperia Ion few days ago. It's really cool update. I installed PowerAmp for Music and it's the Best. Walkman is also good. But can't compare with PowerAmp. I haven't face any issue with Camera. Apps are working very fine (No crashing so far.) I tested Asphalt 7 Heat and It's Great. (No Lagging/No Crash).
Pros:
+ Better User Experience :highfive:
+ No compatibility issues (Perhaps I installed all apps which I had in ICS.)
+ SenseMe Slideshow in Albums app (I like it very much. :victory: )
+ Improved Notifications Bar
+ Customizable Wall/Screens (Can add/delete any no of walls which is not possible in ICS)
+ Familiar widgets
Cons:
- Booting time is more when compare with ICS. (It's not a Big Deal. I don't restart my phone every day. Who does?! :angel: )
- Can't Root the OS. (ICS was Rootable easily. Waiting for Firmwares from XdaDevelopers. )
- Can't uninstall/remove apps from Menu itself. (ICS has Blocks icon on top right which enables to delete user installed apps.) It's not a Big deal, I can uninstall via Settings -> Apps.
- Not able to find Direct call Contacts Widget.
I suggest to Flash Android JB on your Ion. :highfive:

Jellybean is easily rootable via doomlords rootkit.
Tho i dont find the jellybean update all that great. Back on ICS for me...its better. Sony just cant get video recording right can they?!

Silly question: does it may be possible to take framework and all apps from stock AOSP like nexus5 rom and inject to Huawei's system.img. To make vanilla like UI??

Antutu Benchmark
My Antutu score went from around 15.000 to around 10.000 after 1 hour of clean installing and with nothing else installed.

Why do you care about Antutu Scores anyway? Sure it is good to have a "sense" of how the phone behaves or just for fun but scores should not be taken into account to assess the performance of a ROM on certain device. If even with lower antutu scores your phone is responsive and behaves the way you like I'll say don't care about antutu scores...
I tried this rom. but i faced several problems: 1st After install the rom, the i turn of the mobile data but it is still on
2nd After i restart the phone, it stuck at Huawei Ascend logo
Benchmark
A benchmark gives you and idee of how the device is working in general. With this rom the score is at 66% of the hyd52 with 4.2.2. And the phone is not so responsive, reflecting the low score.
Can anyone take a antutu for or run?

On my device after installation was the same. Later I find out some keyring process witch was constantly used 50% of CPU, after manual disable my antutu went to 16400. Check yours battery stats and what is the most battery hungry app...

Hello,
I've received a few reports from users about poor performance of app running on Samsung Galaxy S4, the models w/ Snapdragon chips. Strangely enough, it runs perfectly smooth on Nexus4 w/ similar chip - Snapdragon 4. After googling for possible performance bottlenecks I've found some clues that this can be related to OpenGL drivers.
Could you please download app and tell:
1. If animation of live wallpaper itself is smooth.
2. If animation of launcher UI is smooth.
3. Firmware details.
You can check performance with postprocessing set to Medium and Off - this can be changed in live wallpaper's settings.

Working great on Z1 Compact 5.1.1. Thanks bro. It is compatible with Camera v2 app!
Anyway Bionz 2x mode is not available in manual mode, only in superior auto.
BTW What is the resolution in Bionz 2x mode?

HI, I cannot install it, everytime I try to flash it twrp reboot, and the other recovery says that it cannot open the zip file.
I downloaded it twice to be sure that the file was not corrupted but it's not working.
I'm on z3 with slim 4.4
Any suggestions?

I just noticed that the file I downloaded (twice) is 40kb.

Can I flash in Chinese version ?
I'm so excited to tell you guys that the new magisk manager update just came out.. so all you guys that have been having problems getting their safety net to pass as soon as I updated installed them again and we updated mom and just manager instantly it went through and had to change any of my settings or anything obviously there was something going on with magisk they got it all worked out..
I tried everything on every thread took couldn not seem to get to work finally this new update is what done the trick.. Thank you Magisk!!!!

I already patched with the new v23 update is below!!!
