As an ex razr owner, i miss the premium,grippy and sturdy feeling of my phone. Unfortunately, our Moto G 's come with a cheap plastic backcover that would never feel premium. After all you get what you pay for.
I had a spare xt912 backplate lying around so i said why not apply the kevlar on the G backcover as an experience. The result i could achieve in 10 minutes with sticky tape is visible in photos below. If i had more kevlar, i would have done this more professional.
Btw i'm not using this cause it looks so bad. Just looking for an online seller where i could get the OEM Moto G Ferrari kevlar backpanel.

Hi it looks decent on the PIC I think you mean carbon fibre not kevlar cuz that is carbon fibre

Sold the Razr. I had an extra razr battery door, disassembled the kevlar from it to tape on moto g

It is KEVLAR material licenced by Dupont from the original RAZR. I don't know if else but stock original part.

Little note about composite materials: Kevlar is an aramid fiber, not carbon or glass fiber, they're three different types.

yes sure, but its coming from Hong Kong (3 week delivery for sure)
(metal door looks bad,I also got 2 of them, but this on will be look sick, but of course will be easily scratched, why? nexus s back door also got same surface full of scratched )

what I fear with these cheap battery cover is that the small parts of the cover that grip at the back broke and the small pieces fell inside of the phone. This would be a very annoying situation.

hahahah man its a same quality like original.
We are not going to fly into space on it to worry about it
(I also got 2 metal back cover and I change them every day)
I like how its nice and smooth and not textured like the white Notes.

I just picked up the OEM Flip case and im nit to thrilled with the leather piece vut absolutely love the material of the battery cover that replaces the oem cover. Does anyone know if there is anywhere a replacement white back cover that is the same material as the oem flip case. If anyone can help i would appriciate it.

The OEM flip case is just awful. Its failing to pieces on my Note. I'd looks for a 3rd party case if I were you.

Mine is peeling in the borders. It's a matter of time that I have to ditch it and get back to using a plain gel back cover
If just it was not so expensive... it would still be the best I had on my note

New Flipcovers made in china they probably will be hitting ebay soon so watch out.. here they are only 5usd or less depending on how many you buy. here is an image of all the colors. i am giving you guys all the heads up so that you know that these are copies.. and if you see them you will be aware that they are made from fake leather but they feel like real leather and not PU leather.

love this bumper case so much, crazy its only 5.00. The skin turned out really well also, Had to photoshop the picture to make it fit right, I get tons of compliments on it.

Gelaskins does make great skins. I bought numerous skins from them and have had no complaints of their work.
I LOVE this bumper too, and also thinking of doing something different with the battery cover/door, but I might just get a white colored door and call a day

Actually, it's around the USB port area that the black TPU section can tear itself away from the white plastic. But I've been able to fix it by using a small dab of superglue. The result can be quite stiff and reassuring. At only 3 bucks a piece, it's still an excellent case. I have 4 of these.
BTW, I bought mine from focalprice.com
I have had mine on my phone going on 3 weeks and have had no issues. I could see there being issues with the black coming off if you take your phone out of the case alot. so far i have yet to take it out since i put the case on, I have did battery pulls but the case does not need to come off to do so.

Understood, it's unique, but I've ordered about 7 different cases to try each one.
I have a yellow version of this coming from China, which I really enjoyed on my Note and workmates like them on their iphone, makes them have a golden shimmer.
Originally I had bought this from Diztronic for the Motorola Atrix 4G at the time for $10. Then found similar for the Note around $2. Now there are some for the S3 as well at that price from China. USA vendor was $4 shipping was quick

Yes, the acid and oils on our hands and fingers tend to do this with most, expecially noticeable on clear and light color cases (white)..
That's why I prefer my yellow one, it's already yellowish..
Funny thing, I took it off before putting the phone to charge on my pillow. I guess I knocked it off and it fell between the bed.. Now I have scuffs on the back of my phone.. Sigh..:crying:

For the LG Stylo 2/2 Plus
This is the case i have: LG G Stylo 2 Plus Case, Incipio [Hard Shell] [Folio Case] DualPro for LG G Stylo 2 Plus-Black/black
I quite like the lip on the the screen. it lets me put the phone facedown without having to worry about scratching the screen. But unfortunately the plastic shell is somewhat tricky to remove the the rubber case. I always feel i'm about to break it.
