[Q] Root Methods - T-Mobile LG G3

Hello all. Has anyone found a root method that works for our variant yet? I have tried both IORoot and Towelroot and neither works. I have looked through the forum posts .

Going to try it...good thing I like Linux, hehe.

Anyone successfully rooted v1277 with Superoneclick? I know there's a general thread on rooting this phone, but I was curious about this method specifically and if it worked for anybody. There's also UnlockRoot, but it doesn't seem trustworthy.

Thanks, I was already aware of that thread. I'm trying to see if anyone successfully rooted this phone using Superoneclick.
Decided to forget about it and use the guide after all. Ran into the local.prop issue, but was able to get by it. Thanks to FrankVM for all the valuable info.

[Q] Unable to root... (but did before)

Perhaps related... but...
I softbricked my OG - repaired via "LG Tool" (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=41601012#post41601012)
now I am in Firmware 10d, and I think my new proble is related to this...
I tried all rooting topics I found here (3 different tools, one Windows, one in chinese and another one under Ubuntu...) - I rooted my phone before. But now I am unable to root again.
do I make a stupid mistake somewhere or is there a special method for rooting 10d firmware ?
thanks alot for your help
I tried the normal root method and the "ubuntu" root method which can be found here arround - nothing works :/
has anyone suceeded rooting Firmware 10d ? thanks to advise...
DId you tried motochopper method?

[Q] Does Kingo root work?

I keep seeing all these complicated root methods and then I see this today:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2460745
This seems too easy. Does it work on our device?
You searched to find your answer before posting, right?
If you mean did I search for Kingo in the Xperia ZL forum, then yes, no hits.
I see it works for others but I'm not sure about ours as I see no mention in the developer sub forum.
Thanks for the non-answer.

Don't know where that's coming from. It says "Sony XperiaZL > Xperia ZL Q&A, Help & Troublshooting" at the top of this page I'm on right now.
Ive tried it and YES it works
Yes it does. Works perfectly. True one click rooting.
Nice!
Maybe you should put the topic's url

Well, it did. It worked fine a few days ago, today I unlocked my BL to see if I could. I relocked it, restored my TA, and tried to root again using this method. Now it fails root with a script error. Thats all it says, script error. Any idea's?
I want to try to root my phone, with Kingo root. The phone is already with the bootloader unlocked, after i followed those steps : http://unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com/
The phone is C6502, model number 10.3.1.A.2.67
What do you think, guys ? Would this method work for ?
Thank you
They just updated the program to 1.0.9 for Sony devices that where getting a script error, like mine was after I unlocked boot loader. Give it a try, it cant damage any thing.
Kingo root enquiry for Galaxy Tab3 T211
Sorry for jumping into this tread but I would like to know how Kingo root works. Is there a specific route I need to follow to get this to work on my Tab, switching off, boot up or do I just plug it into my PC with Kingo running?
Sorry again for jumping into this thread.
does this method work for 4.3?

Kingroot 4.1 failed for me on D85120g with the message, "Root Failed no strategy now". It looked promising at first as it had a root now buttom but root checker says no root access.

This should appear in Stump Root ??
A.you have to talk with the Dev. on Stump Root xda page and ask them.
B.you have to use bruteforce mode.
What is bruteforce mode?
We need to know the right location to "attack", we hardcode it for models/firmwares we have encountered. When Stump hits a device it does not "know" it can bruteforce the location. This can take upwards of 2 hours, but once down (if the phone has an internet connect) it will report it to us, and future builds can include the location.
after you will do root tell them to update this DOC about your Ver. D724.

i just rooted my D722 with Purpledrake. It took 2 minutes. Just follow the steps in command prompt, but don't be scared if you won't have supersu, even the process said it was succesful. just install supersu from market and that's it.
now i have a rooted phone
