[Q] N1 Mini Chinese N5117 help please, please, preety please :) - Oppo N1

Hello everyone!
I tried to look for a solution to my problem but unfortunately could not find one.
When I was in China in a moment of madness I went to OPPO store and purchased N1 Mini - smashed screen on my old S3 so thought this was a great idea at the time. I read the reviews, I knew it was very easy to install CM so I thought - great, I'm gonna get one of these...
So got home, downloaded the ROM... and got installation failed every time. Tried different builds, same again. I started reading and realized this phone is a bit different...
Is there antyhing I can do? I'm even happy to stay on ColorOS, but I need to install Gapps (flashing them in recovery gives ... instalation failed )

TCL P600 / Alcatel One Touch Snap 7025D Root and GAPPS

Root and GAPPS instruction for TCL P600
Since TCL P600, TCL P606 and Alcatel One Touch Snap 7025D are the same phones I just write about TCL P600 now. But it's working for both.
TCL P600 root package: http://www.4shared.com/zip/3HRtqraE/TCL_P600_Root.html
HowTo Root TCL P600:
- Extract the file
- Start the flash tool in extracted folder
- Make sure under options it is choosen “with battery”
- In FlashTool load scatter file contained in folder
- Click checkboxes of BOOTIMG and RECOVERY
- Doubleclick on BOOTIMG and refer to TCL-P600_130417__boot_patched_130508-162244.img
- Doubleclick on RECOVERY and refer to TCL-P600_130417__recovery_130508-162244.img
- Switch off mobile and unplug it from usb
- Click “download” in flash tool
- Plug in usb in phone
- If you get a green circle from flash tool saying OK you’re ready with root shell
- Unplug phone and reboot into CWM
- Start Droidtools and plugin usb to phone again
- Install superuser of your choice into phone.
- Ready – you have full root to phone.
If you experience any problems please check if you used the right drivers. Please check drivers attached in folders. Only use them.
Here is the JB gapps zip for flashing with CWM: http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-jb-20121011-signed.zip
Full instruction of getting a well working TCL P600:
1. First of all I updated the phone with TCL updater to the latest firmware.
2. I rooted it as I described before.
3. I deleted lots of China Apps and also under system/media bootup sounds and some - for me - other stuff not needed in order to get more space on system partition.
4. I installed GAPPS through CWM. I did it with this one: http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-jb-20121011-signed.zip
After rebooting I got crash of google search. I ignored it and added my google account. After opening playstore then I got update for google search. After updating there is no crashing anymore.
All other gapps are working quite well. I tested GPS for the TCL P600 and was really suprised it works quite fast and accurate.
The only thing: There is no A-GPS setting. Let's say: There is no GPS setting at all. You can only switch GPS on and off. Settings are not included. Maybe this will be unlocked with a modded rom.
I'm now testing all functions in detail but up to now it works really great.
Hope you got it also up to this point. After all steps this phone is really perfect.
------------------
If you brick your phone you have a brick Not my fault. I don't take responsibility of that my instruction will work for you. It worked for me. So now it's up to you.
I tried what you say but no thing happened .

Custom Recovery
Hey i want to know if this recovery can be ported to my phone the alcatel one touch fierce it is the same as th one touch snap/7025d just without the 8mp camera and splash water proofing everything else is the same i had tried the aoutomatic port for CRR recovery but when it flashed the recovery i got a security error on my alcatel that says "error 101 unaouthorized software installed "it would not boot upand was bricked i bought the same phone again and i am wondering how y'all ported it to the fierces sister phone the one touch snap .thanks and have a great day
I don't know about porting possibility. I guess there is no way. This thread is not about changing the ROM but just how to root the TCL. There is no custom ROM out actually. So I don't see chances to port. Why should this be necessary? Is the stock ROM having problems?

Solved the problems.
I was able to upgrade wiht "TCL 2.7.4 Updater Setup.exe" the mobile software, I had the "TCL 2.7.9 Updater Setup.exe" version and this version told me it was updated. Thank you, i will try. I must install some other version of OS, official is fully bugged. After i used ROMs from xda for last 2 years, on my old phone, i forgot how bugged is official android.
There are so much crashes with official version, corupted SD card and so on...
please help me. after reflashing of my rom with flash tool. i have lost my imei and i have not done backup of my efs. my alcatel ot 7025d can't recognize any sim. i need efs backup or way to solve of my problem. i live in ivory coast there are not alcatel sav in this country.
I used kingo for root. Its really one click root tool. If your phone is rooted, you can restore to default. You can try to restore it with that tool.
Anyone know where to download Custom Boot Loader and Newer version of OS?
I have huge problem with this phone. There is all the time problem with memory card. I am using kingston class 10, 16gb memory but from time to time, after i take some picture or use default gallery, i get message that my memory card is corrupted. I need to restart phone and everything is ok, but sometimes it require even 3-5-7 restarts and its really anoying. Cant take pictures, use ringtone from memory cartd etc.
I tried with official updater but still use 4.2.1 version. Anyone have any newer custom rom?
Sorry for off topic but i am sure that this problems can be solved with some newer OS.

Failed root attempt left tablet at the Samsung screen

I have been searching the forum and google and have been unable to reach a solution yet.
I am not a noob, but i am not an expert either so use small words ha.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 5210 with the most recent OTA update.
Last night I attempted to root my device using this:
androidxda (DOT) com/root-samsung-galaxy-tab-3-10-1-gt-p5210
It claimed successful and my device started to reboot and hung up at the Samsung GALAXY TAB 3 screen. I am unable to get to recovery mode on the device. Only able to go to download mode. I have tried several options but have been unable to find a way to flash it successfully. The flashes i have tried downloading were all in .zip and that obviously isn't able to be used in Odin. I have researched how to convert the files into a .tar but I don't have linux. Can someone please help me because I need my tablet. I know it can be saved but I can't seem to locate the answers. I am also getting concerned that it is unable to charge the battery being in the condition it is in now so I am trying to conserve the battery on the tablet until it is absolutely needed. Thanks.

First of all - Welcome to xda
Your tab is soft bricked, something has gone wrong with your system files... Honestly it seems like you know enough to get it done, but are struggling a bit with the file formats. You are correct in saying that Odin won't use zip files, but you shouldn't have to convert anything to tar or download linux! If you extract the zip files, you should find a .tar or .tar.md5 file (inside the zip file) that Odin can use, put it in the PDA mode box, etc etc... If your downloads don't have the correct files inside them, try THIS thread.
Let me know if you get it sorted :good:

I had already tried the method and file in the forum you linked me to. It failed almost instantly. That's when I turned everything off and tossed it all to the back seat of my work truck before it got thrown at the windshield. I keep seeing people saying they have trwp or whatever. I don't even know what that is haven't researched that. Is it something i need as well?
I've never successfully rooted a Samsung device. I used to do this stuff a lot back with the droid x with Linux and everything was pretty simple. Does Samsung change their bootloader with each update like Motorola did then? I was wondering that when trying to install a firmware of a previous version that maybe that was the problem.
All I wanted root for was to just tweak some things and be happy. It has turned into a nightmare.
C,
hi,
the consistent/common thread of this problem is/seems to be taking the ota and trying unverified/gimmicky
root methods.
there are recoveries for the gt-p52xx in the tab 10.1 forum
the majority of samsung devices root as follows;
if a custom recovery exist, flash it.
then download recent or latest version of chainfire's supersu update zip, reboot to recovery
backup your rom first, then flash supersu, if everything goes well, once you have set up your stock rom with root in place
make a new backup.
samsung ota's are death incarnate, reject them.
goto the tab 10 forum and get busy ! you said it yourself, you're not a noob, you know the drill. :good:

I have tried the recoveries in the forum and it failed seconds after starting.
I don't do this stuff regularly as I don't hardly have the time. I haven't done anything of this nature in years so I'm well out of the loop on things..

okay, hmm, when you say it fails, do you mean odin fails to flash and if so what is the reason/ouput ?
or do you mean that you are now in a recovery bootloop ?
note- though i go the full route of packing recovery.img's for odin flashing, the md5 checksum always seems to
come up as invalid, the working "remedy" is to remove the .md5 extension from the "odin-flashable-recovery".tar.md5 file
by renaming the file to "odin-flashable-recovery".tar
odin will no longer attempt the checksum verification but the recovery file will flash.
make sure you have samsung-usb-drivers for windows installed. on the main page of my devhost archive [link is in my signature]
you will find the tools you need. the possible problem is that the ota you installed may have overwritten your bootloader, for that i don't
have a reliable fix, so if anything make sure you also have the stock recovery ready to go as well as supersu update zip
already downloaded onto your device for rooting.
after you flash the custom recovery [with auto-restart in odin disabled] run the flash and wait for the res-ok message, give it another second or two then disconnect the tab and force reboot to recovery, home,vol-up and power, once in recovery make a full backup, then flash supersu zip and reboot, if you do go into recovery loop, force reboot to odin mode, home,vol-down and power, follow the on screen instruction, now reconnect your tab to pc and use odin to flash back stock recovery.

Okay guys I appreciate the help. I finally got it. I tried the method on Zachisimo's post on unbricking and finally got it installed.
After it installed, it left me with a bootloop and I was actually able to go into recovery mode this time and do a factory data reset and wipe cache then everything went well. I am a happy dude now.
Going to attempt rooting it again and does anyone have any suggestions on what ROM to install? I have never used any custom ROM's before so that is a new area for me. Feeling more confident knowing how to save it from the dead. :good::good::good:

If you use it then thats what i shall try. First i gotta find a root, then I have seen many people recommend philz recovery, and then the rom?
question why does Restl3ss say wait 10minutes after installing a rom before doing anything?

How to install google play store on samsung tab s 10.5 tablet bought in China?

Hello guys, I recently bought samsung tab s 10.5 tablet in China, and once I started working on it i realized that it doesn't have google play store. After searching though the internet I realized that since it is bought in China it does not allow to use Google Play Store. I doubt that it is not certified or not supported since it is bought in a Samsung store and it is an original Samsung tablet. I tried rooting (using odin and CF_AutoRoot_Port_T800_BeansTown106.tar) but no solution yet. I tried installing the apk file and once installed when i would open the app it it immediately closes. Please guys any help or suggestions. Model number: SM - T800, Android version: 4.4.2.

Not responsible for any damages btw. But it should work on the china device
Go to this link and download the latest twrp techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/chagallwifi
Now download it and open up odin. Hit the ap or pda tab in odin and choose the twrp file.
Now put your tablet in download mode and connect it to your pc and hit start.
It should now flash twrp and reboot.
Now power off the device again after the reboot.
Once the device is off, hold power, home button, volume up for 20 seconds and it should boot into twrp.
Now to just reboot out of twrp by hitting reboot then hit system.
Now you need to download the gapps package from here https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=18619
After its downloaded, reboot back into twrp by powering off the device and pressing power, home, vol up button til twrp boots.
Then hit install, and chose where your downloaded your file. So it should be under the downloads folder. So click the download folder and hit the gapps zip and silde to flash. Now just reboot. And google play should be there

Thanks man, and from your experience, can something happen to the tablet, is there a chance that it won't work or it will shut down totally and there won't be anyway to recover it or repair it? BTW although its bought in china its samsung original, I mean that it is not that cheap chinese knockoffs

Depending on the way China made their tablets (software wise), Im not sure. Most times if you did something wrong, it should softbrick. Rarely it shouldnt hardbrick and not turn on in which I never experienced. Most softbricks can be fixed by flashing a firmware with odin.
I mean if you really want play store, take the risk. You can always use a third party store if google play isnt important to you.

Thanks bro, anyway i gave it to a store to fix it, they said the same thing like you. Anyway I didn't want to take the chances to do it my own and do something wrong (better leave it to the experts ) plus its gonna cost me just 20 euros, so better pay cheaply than damage it costly

So you are saying the tablet actually rooted, but you couldn't run superuser? In that case I would try another super user app or another rooting app such as kingroot as it will probably work if you've managed to root.

I've recently bought this LG-H735 and it runs Marshmallow. Only now I've discovered the issues with its internal memory so I'd like to root in order to use my SD card as default space to install apps.
Problem is, after a bit of search I used Kingroot and it seem to do the trick... until I restarted the phone and it soft-bricked into the usual bootloop. Can access the download mode but it gets stuck at 0% for hours.
Next step would be to flash but I've been searching everywhere on the web and I can't find the ROM. All links are either down, lost or just plain broken. I'd need the PRT version if I'm geting this right, thats what my phone box shows at least.
I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right way.
Any tips would be apreciated, still new to all this. Thanks in advance.
Also... a little question update if I may. Anyone recomend a nice custom ROM for this phone? Unfortunatly Cyanogen is not compatible it seems.
Thanks again.

Help. My Letv X800 us version. have malware. it's install the app automatic without my permission.
It's auto download the app in the background and install the application automatic.
and run it , how to solve this problem.
I'm really in pain.
US/international Le1 pro that is sold worldwide on many web-shops comes with very unpleasant malware package. Several malware/trojans are included in rom. Many users suffered automatic installation of unwanted software, and there will be many more in next days.
Root, flash TWRP and install any RECENT custom ROM. Cuoco 14S for stock experience or latest CM12.1 for good experience. Good luck, you can find all infos in the threads!
I had the same problem and my phone bricked trying to install TWRP. Hope to have a chance this weekend to attempt to unbrick the phone this weekend. Let me know if you find a way to install TWRP, because none of the instructions here worked. For the record, this isn't my first rodeo...I've rooted every smart phone I've ever owned.

I had the same issue. I couldn't get my phone to boot into any of the ROMS (CM, CUOCO92) with TWRP as my recovery. After a few attempts and a few soft bricks later, I stumbled across this sequence.
1- Flash TWRP 3.0.2. At this point, my phone could only boot into recovery.
2- From TWRP, wipe phone, root, flash custom rom, then reboot into TWRP (recovery).
3- Use Fastboot to flash Stockrecovery.img. Reboot. Your phone will be able to start the CM/CUOCO ROM.
YES..... I can confirm too. this phone is installing stupid apps by itself! I just found today morning that i had a new lock screen! wtf????? I'd flash the phone right away! get your self a new TWRP and a different rom.
You can download US rom by Cuoco92 for the US version + TWRP (version 5.5.014S) here:

I have also bought X800 -but from Gearbest, my friend that already got his phone told my about the same problem like OP, I wonder if we can simplly just install the official FW from here:
http://bbs.le.com//zt/eui/le_pro1.html
will it work or this FW not competible with our X800?

anyone who have this problem follow this => work great
1) download file update.zip as is into the root directory of the phone storage (root directory means not in any folders) from here : https://sites.google.com/site/l1prousx800/
2) power off phone
3) hold power and volume+up button at the same time to boot into recovery
4) select update
5) the update should take about a minute and the phone will reboot, and you're done.
I just got a US version today. How do I know if I have malware? I haven't seen anything untoward happening yet
