Animate a grid of button - Design, Prototyping, UI, Graphics

Hi
I have created a 9x9 grid of button using table rows. I would like to give the grid an animated look. Some thing similar to the picture below. How do I do that? I am new to android app development

Interactive wallpapers - No Icons

So this is the concept:
Instead of having a wallpaper with custom Icons, you have a custom wallpaper with the icons designed on the wallpaper itself and the icons set to an invisible icon (Simply save an icon with "Simple Text-Text Icon Creator" without any text). This way you can design complex wallpapers with shapes that have the functions in the painting itself.
Just an idea that came to mind recently, you still have to drop the icons on the correct grid part though. You can change the icon using Apex or Nova launcher.
All the best
Current wallpaper
I have an invisible folder with my most used apps on the left and the gallery at the top. You can also name the folders with a space so only a panel comes up.
At the bottom are phone, messages, app grid and two apps.

Trying to workout grid spacing on touchwiz

Hi all,
I'm bored so I'm trying to come up with a new homescreen layout.
I want to design a wallpaper that lines up with the widget spacing on the homescreen but can't for the life of me work out the vertical height in pixels of a 1 row tall widget in touchwiz.
Does anyone know the vertical pixel location where the grid begins (just underneath the notification bar) and the pixel size for 1 row? I should be able to work the rest out from there.
Cheers in advance
Elbee
PS - if I've forgotten to include any pertinent bits of info, just let me know.

[Q] Multiple UI Questions

Hola, OGs of the keyboard slider,
I have a few questions to ask to improve my homescreen (the black minimalist screenshot).
CM9
Apex launcher
Advanced Clock Widget
Metrostation Icon Pack
1. Which 5-day weather forecast widget is shown in the other attached screenshot? Or a similar app. One that can show vertically would be great, too.
2. What app can display message/call/email notifications as a widget? Preferably one that hides until a message/call/email is received: i.e. doesn't show "0 new messages".
3. Is it possible to have two distinct layouts for the homescreen, one for portrait and one for landscape? Rather than deal with bunched icons or icons hidden offscreen, I currently have Apex lock the homescreen to portrait, even with keyboard slide. I'm okay with this as apps aren't affected but the app drawer is and I often slide the keyboard to unlock my PIN password on the lockscreen.
4. Can I style the PIN password lockscreen in CM9? Every cool lockscreen I've seen never has the PIN pad out.

widget/app to change screens

Is there a widget or app that will switch the home screens? I'm wanting to make a layout that has each page as a different theme/category. Where I can click on large text icons and itll take me to that page instead of scrolling.
I like UCCW but i cant select an action to change to different screens.

Any way of increasing number rows of icons on home screen?

My previous phone is a Sony Z5 compact with a lower resolution and smaller screen. On my home screen and other panels I can get 5 rows of 4 icons (not including the app bar along the bottom) i.e. 20 icons + the shortcuts along the bottom.
However, on my HTC 10 I cannot find a way of increasing the number of icons - I can only get 4 x 4 and they are really widely spaced out.
I am missing something really obvious? I tried using a smaller font size - but that does not help.
I know I can increase grid size on the apps pages - but that does not affect the home screen etc
I know there is a FreeStyle theme but that looks too wacky for me...
Any help welcome. Thanks.
You can't on stock.Different launcher or custom rom.
ok - thanks.
Will check out alternative launchers....
Tried Google Now Launcher which seemed to be good enough - but you can set the Home Page panel position - I like one panel on each side.
Tried Nova Launcher and that does it.
Thanks.
