I flashed these through fastboot . they work great but where is the white moto logo with android from the first screenshot from in this post? I have the moto x one which is the same but sized and place different

Thanks for the great work... Been dying to make a few aswell but as far as I can tell no way to convert it to a .bin solely on mobile this really limits my desire to alter and manipulate the device

Rename it to logo.bin. Then flash it.

Unzipped the original file took the new file renamed it logo.bin then zipped the meta folder and the logo.bin file booted into twrp clicked flash then flashed the .zip said successful
Rebooted to no avail.

The zip doesnt flash using CWM.
Extract the boot animation from in side the ZIP and move to system/media
I am with talon kernel and the file needs renaming to SANIM.ZIP before being placed in system/media

OR CLICK THIS
Boot animation now attached you will need to extract the boot animation from the zip
Very good thank you!
Has been secured for my mobile
Ok I just made a CWM zip file, should work, haven't test it just yet though. (Will not work with Talon based kernels because it needs to be renamed to sanim.zip) (Lol I just tried it, yucky ... really blurry)
Update: correct one now LOL
FYI, I downloaded this from the link provided at ausdroid dot net and flashed through CWM and it works great (which linked to a filesonic d/load)

the kernel has to support boot animations, check with the kernel dev
with talon you have to change the name of the zip

I am using Talon Kernel, after installing the kernel:
download and extract all files
go to where they have been extracted and copy the bootanimation.zip out of the data folder
copy that to system/media
rename the file sanim.zip
reboot an enjoy

Custom boot animations and binaries on GINGERBREAD ( CF-Root versions >= 2.9, broken in 2.8 ! )
CF-Root also supports custom boot animations:
- /system/media/bootanimation.zip
- /data/local/bootanimation.zip
CF-Root v3.0 and up also support:
- /data/local/bootanimation.bin
according to the dev's page it does follow the instructions above
download the bootanimation.zip direct from the media fire link on first page and then move using root explorer

[RADIO][MODEM] UVLI1 - t989 - t-mobile s2 - CWM/TWRP flashable

Hi all,
I have received a replacement T-Mobile SII today and it has UVLI1 modem on it. I did flash the Party Boy ROM but the modem seems to be intact. I followed the links (guide) posted in other thread on extracting the modem and gave it a try. Attached is the modem (could not attach the .bin file so put it in a 7-zip file to avoid confusion) and also attached is the screenshot of the info screen on my phone. Can someone check this file to see if I did everything correctly? If yes, can someone make a flashable zip out of this so folks can flash away this modem?
Update : 12/13/12
Here is the 7-zip file for UVLI1 - UVLI1.7z - 15.31 MB - please note that this is not a flashable zip - just contains modem and amssbin file - thanks blackwing182 for instructions.
MD5 Sum: 0e4893d8a0320a93a379ba037f27e357
Here is the flashable zip - https://www.dropbox.com/s/h6m7thtyz883a1b/UVLI1.zip - thanks jrosetto for creating the flashable zip

there is no uninstalling possibility for such Mods.
But you can choose 2 ways back:
1. restore backup made BEFORE (you should always make a backup before flashing and testing new things )
OR
2 download flashable stock ROM (.zip), unpack it, copy framework-res.apk and systemUI.apk to device, set permission to rw-r-r and copy it to /system/framework (framework-res.apk) and /system/app (systemUI.apk)
Reboot and hope :cyclops:

[SHARE][FLASHABLE]KitKat Features For Locked Boot Loader

Hey I made a flashable kitkat features zip file this zip file includes kitkat bootanimations made by @RF-XDA and entire kitkat audio file(alarms, notifications, ringtones and ui). This flashable can be flashed on locked bootloader or you can copy the contents to the correct folders as given in the Zip. (Root access required) , i would recommend flashing as its easier
Instructions:
1)Download kikatfeatures.zip file (link provided below)
2)Using any file manager, copy the contents to the correct folders as given in the Zip. (Root access required)
OR
1)Flash the zip file using Flash Gordon (Download it from here)
This is not entirely my work i just made in to a flashable zip file other then the credits go to @RF-XDA for the bootanimations and Someone(forgot their name) for porting the KitKat audio file

Hi. I am not so lectured in Android customization and the only thing I've ever flashed is Closed for LP. Shall I just put the zip in the internal memory and flash it via TWRP, or is there another step?
Also if I need to return to the stock bootlogo what is it I shall save or where do I find it?
Hope you could help me, thank you in advance.

Yes just put the zip file in the internal memory and flash it through twrp or philz recovery. You will have to find the stock boot logo and flash it using mfastboot in order to return to stock.
