I need a pure holster case, where I take my naked galaxy nexus and slip it in holster with a belt clip. I dont want a combo case where you place the phone in a cover and then place the covered phone in a holster. Anybody knows if a pure snap on holster with belt clip exists for Samsung galaxy nexus?

Well I have a palm centro and I just put it in the holster and the holster just holds it. I dont need any cover to hold my current phone. Its a pure spring clip holster with no cover needed.
maybe send seidio request about this. i had one for my DX from them and liked it a lot. if we ever see docks that use the 3 pins, then i'm planning on just skinning rather than use a case so i'll need one then too.

My phone is the Verizon Galaxy Nexus i515 and I've had the red Seidio cover for a long time. It came with a clip holster but the clip broke after 2 days. Got another holster and it broke again in 6 days. This was just from slight/small snags.
Basically I'm looking for something that can hold up against small snags. Also has all 3 combo (good rubber case/kickstand/clip holster).
This is something I'm looking for... only downside to this one is it doesn't come with a clip holsters. There's no indication, even on "what else user's bought after buying this", whether any clip holster will fit this particular brand. Link below...

I like the thickness of it and how it has small covers for the USB port and headphone jack. It also has the kickstand.

You could try the Trident Kraken A.M.S. case. It comes with a belt clip. Its around $20 on Amazon.

Glad I could help. I have their Aegis case for my GNex and I love it. The Blue looks awesome. And if you have any issues with it, Trident has awesome customer service.

Probably not. These are for stock only. I think I saw a Seidio case awhile back that had options to accommodate a bigger battery door. Seidio and Trident are my 2 preferred cases but I've never looked into one for bigger batteries cause I've never had an extended battery before.
You could type stuff like Trident Kraken case for extended battery. Same with Seidio.

Thanks for the help. I saw that one yesterday. I'd rather not have the huge 3500-3800 battery so I have been looking around for one and am not having much luck. I'll just keep looking. :good:
I don't know how the kraken is, but my wife and I both have Trident's Aegis cases for our Sprint Galaxy Nexi and they fit good, even with the 2100maH battery.
It looks like the Aegis isn't a holster case.

The Kraken case is really good. Its encasing my Gnex right now. Provides ultimate protection and with military grade screen protector. Only issue with it
Is that its a pain in the arse to take apart when I have to do battery pulls sometime when flashing ROMs. I have no complaint about the rest of it.

I think with a better wording for what you're looking for is making it harder to find one. I know some products require specific wording in the search in order for it to show up. I was hoping that link would get you somewhere. I'll help you look for something when I get home from work.
You could also start a thread, if you haven't yet, and see if anyone bought what you're looking for and can point you to where they got it from.

Thanks for the replies. I've got the Verizon holster and I like it but with this OEM extended battery and cover, its a real snug fit. In fact it's really too snug.

My carbon case. It comes with a two layer case with a really cool kickstand, a holster that can double as a stand, and I screen protector for under 15 bucks on amazon. I don't have a like but it's pretty easy to find

I have a Bugatti case for my N4 and it's great. The N5 doesn't fit as well because it's a bit taller. I'll try and get some images up for you tomorrow.

I use this one. It is meant for the Z30 but works the same with the Nexus 5 and I quite like the red little accents on the sides. Plus I have access to the volume rocker on the sides.

I'm hoping to find a belt-clip/holster for my S3 that I just mounted in an Urban Armor "Scout" case. I found a nicely made Duracell leather case that fits the 'naked' S3, but the UAG case makes it too big to fit...
Anyone have any luck finding something that works with this phone/case combination?

I have a case on my S3 and use a holster for a Note 2 because it is a little bigger. It still might be a tight fit in the beginning because of the thickness but after a while it works fine.

Sorry, I got it a long time ago on ebay. I think it was something like $10 with free shipping. It was one of those chinese knockoffs but it has lasted me a couple of years. Just do a search for " Note 2 holster". Sometimes in the description they include the inside dimensions.I actually have 2 different ones, both faux leather, but they both work fine.

Out of the ones people have tried how has it fit? After looking through a bunch of shops where i live i picked up a case from the Verizon store and it fits well. The problem is i plan on getting the Diztronic case when released, so that could pose a problem.
