Any chance of trying to make it work on 4.1.2? I use Chrome on my Tablet Z, but stock browser on the XS, because it's much more lightweight. Or have you already tried and didn't worked?

bro i have those lib file but still get fc.if i need any file of Z2 system dump pls say me.

In my Xperia TX running official JB 4.3, I get FC
I don't know the reason for the failure

I can't install as a normal app and I tried as a system app or priv-app it works..
Not working on CM11, give FC, maybe we must have those libs which @MarioJerkovic mentioned

I installed the browser on the system partition
Get FC...
not working on rooted xperia z1 4.4.4. normal installation.
When pushed in system/app > unfortunately browser has stopped error pops up.

The browser needs framework modifications aswell as libs that go with it. I don't think that it will work as standalone app

- Get the root privilege in the file browser
- copy and paste in system/app directory (-rw -r -r)
- reboot
Why doesn't the walkman change colour on CM 10.2? When I flash Walkman from Xperia Z which works perfectly and then install the apk over it, it changes colour o fthe background but crashes when I open the now playing window! Any solution?

Above applications provided were simply extracted from xperia device and posted, it works fine on my device (slim official). when you override two apk of the same kind there are possibilities of FCs. try to avoid this by removing cache first and than followed by replacing or deleting the respective app and than copy it again in system/app directory or install.
If still not than give it a pass.

I thought I would have to edit my build.prop for that as flashing the walkman from xperia Z does add around 10 line to the build.prop.. Anyways... Thanks. I'll try on some other ROM and I'll have my friend try on Stock!

I'm not sure, but maybe you need the Superuser mod to make it work, or maybe it works flashing the apk to system.
I've a Rom with Superuser mod and i've installed as normal apk without problems.

Uninstall previous version and try. If you don't have another version then flash it to system and delete the old (remember set the correct permisions).

'm 6.2.B.1.96 stock rom - android 4.1.2, root and superUser mod installed and permissions correct but does not work. I even managed to install but always appear Walkman stopped, does not open. Are you useing the stock framework-res? If yes Try useing honami framework..

have you puted google messenger and my moded messanger at same time ?
It wont work both at same time cause both have same package name
you can change its name by decompile and edit name in AndroidManifest.xml then recompile
Rooted stock odex 5.0.2 z1 .242 FC push manually with correct permission and normal install on both apk.

So i tried it again, uninstal g-messenger first, then push the apk (tried both), and just like everybody else, got FC,

Timeshift video wouldn't work on other chipset, I assumed it only work on devices running Snapdragon 800 & above ?
Btw I'll add more app if they are working

@Ben Ling can't seem to find Backup and Sync options on Xperia Keyboard menu, SEN Sync, learn from gmail, etc.

Yes but normally with XZ Premium without root not working. Install patched version if you want for non root

Yep. It will work on XZ but it won't work on Z2. Only devices with Camera2 API work because the app uses manual control.

Yes!! The modded version works. I mean, the app installs and opens and the tutorials are shown. But, sadly i dont have anyone around me now, to complete the tutorial. Will check on people's and confirm it soon.

I think it miss some libs or whatever.
flash switch doesn't work for me on XZ September build.

Using SU root method
Placed apk manually in system/app
Extracted lib from apk and placed in /arm/lib
Granted permission and rebooted
App is opening fine but White in tutorial
Any advices ?
