Please read before installing or posting
Dualsim variants (a5dwg, a5dug) are supported, but not fully functional. It's not possible to make calls if you selected 2G as preferred network mode. This is a known issue so please do not post any report about that! I would suggest you to only use one sim card with the dualsim variants.
Definitely trying it out, was hoping you'd release early builds
Awesome work man :good:
This is what i've been waiting for to root and flash... thank you! will wait for further progress though.. but excited to see what's coming!thanks!
Is this only enabled to flash on the a5dug?
With your recovery in the OP I get installation aborted?

Formatting /system is no problem. When I try to mount /system is says Error mounting. Nandroids can restore system though.
And I cleared out /cache/recovery before booting back into CWM and trying everything again but I still have like 9 logs.

After I booted the rom and edited build.prop for dual sims, I couldn't enable them from dual sims settings.
So did you included commit for dual sims in your source?
Other small issues:
When I flashed it, startup setup was FC-ing and goes back to the beginning, and some Google apps FC too, maybe due to I used PA-gapps you mentioned in your thread... So I had to skip the setup.
Thanks for your hard work and keep going ?

Yeah same issues being faced by me here. Tried all the methods mentioned. Setup FCs as well.
@DeviousFusion Maybe you can see the source code of PA which was earlier brought to our device here because the dual sim patches work on this build, as do the Gapps packages, and thus the initial setup.
All the best and keep it going!

What is AOSP?
AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps.
Anyway to get a working system I added some changes from CodeAurora Forum and CyanogenMod. I added also 3 non-AOSP features for a better user experience (Advanced Reboot, "Clear All" button in Recents and an option to delete screenshots from the notification area) and I'm NOT going to add something other.

I didn't notice that. The phone freezes ? It appends when you wake up the phone ?
Cores from little cluster should be still online cause the phone can't run without at least one core online.
Also, did you flash/install something like scripts or kernel apps after flashing the ROM ?

Build with March patch is up
Does it have rootless sub commits?
And on their Google page, they mentioned that it's based on Caf/aosp but here it's something else?
Edit - SIM not recognized
Sent from my Moto X Play using Tapatalk
SIM not working
Very simple yet crucial issue here. The SIM card is not being detected. I have tried re-inserting it and resetting the settings but that didn't help. Could you please fix this?

No SIM detected. Looking at the Settings Corner, Baseband version seems to be missing. Please check. Thanks

I am not using the OS currently so I can't get that. Maybe it only works on dual SIM models?

You first complain about sim not working and I need to fix it. But when we ask you to help you don't want to and say "maybe its only on some". Please return to stock and never flash a custom rom again.

I have switch quite fast to last validus yesterday, but i will be able to retry to flash this one and logcat tomorrow => i guess you need logcat of the initial setup (first boot) ?
Otherwise, The symptom is very close to the AOSIP first official build if you remember.
I have had also the same behavior when i was trying DU single sim rom on my dual sim model, by mistake.

Just incase.
Actually you can format it before flash the rom. for example run
1. fastboot reboot bootloader
2. fastboot -w
3. fastboot reboot bootloader
then continue with flash.bat
sometimes if you use hardware to boot to bootloader, it's cause problem

No
I made a flash from the Arcana v402 system and everything works, even the memory stick. Only NFC does not work for me, but I remember that it stopped working on the February version of LinageOS and on the factory rom from Sony. From myself I will add that I like this rom very much and I will stay on it permanently as there will be monthly updates. Thank you very much to the author for making the rom available and for the work done on it. I wish you a nice day and good health.

Yes... If have time for that..
Considering how this person quickly abandons his previous thread on his previous rom and doesn't answer later questions, I highly suggest people avoid this rom until this person has proven to be more willing to answer questions and support his own rom. He might do the same in this thread to this rom too.

If you have time please build ArcanaOS for XZ2 it will be very helpful.
