[TUTORIAL] Unbrick xolo Q1010i - Xolo Q1010i

hey guys finally managed to unbrick my xolo q1010i.. did tried a lot to get it back..
in case you get locked at abd sideload <filename>"...
just press power button + volume dowm button for 10sec
phone will restart...
FIRSTLY DON't EVER... AND NEVER EVER INSTALL "CHAINFIRE 3D" ON ANY XOLO WITH MEDIATEK PROCESSORS!!!!
its because chainfire is specially made for ARM devices and not for our MEDIATEK neon processors..
so before we start we need these tools and files...
SP TOOLS
Stock Q1010i 4.4.2 S002https://www.dropbox.com/s/1ih3a4nnma9g3mo/Stock q1010i 4.4.2 S002.7z?dl=0
DRIVERS
Driver_Auto_Installer_v1.1236.00.7z
this thread is for both hardbrick and softbrick.
there are two possibilites you might have caught up with..
Stuck at XOLO logo...
Not booting up...
so in either case follow this steps..
unfortunately i got caught in both...
so lets begin...
Phase 1: Installing drivers..
no matter if you have already installed the drivers... please make sure you install these again..
unzip the file " Driver_Auto_Installer_v1.1236.00.7z" from link.
run install.bat a command screen will popup saying install sp unsigned inf..
and pop up will come warning to ask you to install the driver or not simply install it.. the warning comes coz its just unsigned drivers not a big deal..
so the pop up will come like 2 or 4 times i actually didnt counted and it will take around 3 to 5 min to install it.. after installation of drivers the command screen will say
install complete press any key to continue... :good:
Phase 2: Installing SPtools, setting up ROM
so download the SPtools ROM from link
extract SPTOOLS in some folder say folder1;
and extract ROM in folder say folder2;
then
start flash_tool.exe
select scatter file from folder where ROM is ectracted.. (folder2)
all the files will be then automatically loaded
just make sure that phone is turned off in any case..
download button... and connect the phone
there will be loading of files and then green circle window will open..
disconnect the phone then you're done and phone is back from dead...  :highfive:
PRESS THAnKS OR PAYPAL ME IF I'D HELPED YOU...

I haven't been in such a condition but still thanks for informing..

My phone is not booting, even after installing drivers provided here.
It is now saying Device not recognized whenever i connect my phone. I have also tried other jacks, uninstalled and re-installed the drivers but nothing.
I think it is hard brick!!
Help please!!!

hey man, I have got my Xolo q1010i bricked and have come here to you for a solution. But I have one thing to ask you that, my phone has built-in battery and in the phase 2, you ask me to keep my phone off when I connect it to my PC. But it is out of my control and when I connect it to my PC through USB, it turns on to the xolo logo. What is a possible solution? Do I have to remove the battery socket to keep it off?
It is possible for me. Tell me if it is to be done.
.
[Reply by self]
Dude, solved the issue. Actually there were no issue as when I connect the phone to my PC when the "Download" button is already pressed in the SP Tool app, it automatically prevents the phone from booting up and solves the problem. If the phone is connected properly and the driver is installed OK, then there is actually no possibility for an error to occur.
Thanks dude, You saved my phone.

xolo q1010i hang on XOLO logo
Hello, I clear eMMC of my mobile. After that it hangs on XOLO logo. I tried to install ROM using SP tool. The process complete and it shows "Download OK" at the end but still when i start after process it hangs on XOLO logo. I tried to download different ROM but the situation remains same.
Am I missing some process that is needed after clear eMMC?

I found instructions to root the A390 here.
Step 1: Download and unzip the three attached files.
Step 2: To install the drivers for the computer, had to reboot the computer (Win8 64x) and disable driver signing. Then turn off the phone, connect to the computer, and run the InstallDriver.exe. After the driver installation is complete, disconnect the phone. The phone only makes the pre-loader interface available for a couple seconds when the USB cable is first plugged into the computer.
Step 3: Open the folder with the flash tool, and run Flash_tool.exe. Click the scatter-loading button and select "MT6577_Android_scatter_emmc.txt" from the recovery folder you downloaded. The recovery check box should automatically be populated with the TWRP.img file.
Step 4: Click download button and select "yes" to ignore the dialogue box. The flash software will now wait till it sees the MT6577 interface from the phone. With the phone off. Plug the USB cable into the phone and then into the computer. The flashing software will automatically load the recovery image to the phone. The flash-tool will show the power status bar red to yellow then wait for the message "OK" green is successful, then disconnect the phone, the TWRP recovery has been flashed. If the flash does not detect the phone when you plug it in, check your driver installation from step 2.
Step 5: Access recovery mode by pressing volume up + home + power key until the phone vibrates or it boots into recovery mode, then let go. This time open Team Win Recovery. You now have TW recovery and you can now root your device. (Make android backup first before rooting you phone)
Rooting Lenovo Ideaphone A390
After boot in recovery it will ask you to install superSU just drag/swipe to install. After you reboot the phone, you will have to have internet access to download the GUI. You can download the GUI from the play store, or download a zip which you can flash from recovery.
You are now rooted!
Good Luck

Voice Calls
hello! Recently, I bought a Lenovo A390 and i think that it has a problem with the voice calls. During the voice call, the person who i´m talking doesn´t hear me no more and end the call. Just can not send the recovery file to my Lenovo A390 using SP Flashtool
Hello,
I have installed the correct drivers because I did manage to flash my ZTE v889s phone and send a recovery.file to it.
But with my Lenovo A390 I have tried over a week and nothing will work. After SP Flashtool finds the phone, it gives an error message after 4 seconds, saying:
BROM_ERROR: S_FT_NEED_DOWNLOAD_ALL_FAIL (4050)
I am sure this must be some kind of locking mechanics on the phone, and not a problem with the drivers, since they are working with other Android devices. Do you know what could be the problem?
The phone is suposed to be rooted, I am using SuperSU, that I installed using the USB cable on the device.
All your good advice is highly appreciated!
Thanks!

My Lenovo A390 has problems with its ANDROID CORE AND ALL THE ANDROID COMPONENTS!!!!
Hi all. I got a rooted Lenovo A390 and I downloaded ROM Toolbox LITE. I used build.prop editor. I accidentally edited the vm growth heapsize from 16 to 10. then after rebooting the phone, everything didn't work anymore. The android phone, android core, google services, gapps, and everything else stopped working and the notification bar dissapeared and nothing in the phone will open. Does somebody know how to reverse it without using the apps in the phone since nothing would open?
ultimate bootloop
i think i got a dead end, just trying (desperately) to fix my phone,
the situation is :
usb debugging is off
stucks at boot
the recover is not functional (just an android logo and red exclamation point
can't install the drivers
how can i fix this? or is it really dead?
thank to those who will help

Stupid question, but are you sure you are doing it right? To enter download mode, first turn the phone off. Then hold both volume buttons, and plug in the USB cable to your computer. Do NOT press the power button. Is this what you are doing?
Also, are you saying you rooted an F180 KitKat with Framaroot?!?! I find that very hard to believe, as it failed for me, and other people also confirmed that it didn't work...

The same thing happened to me .. The phone didn't show DOWNLOAD MODE. ... i still flashed the stock kdz by these steps
1.. switch off ur phone
2.. keep the up and down volume buttons pressed and insert the usb cable
3.. open Kdz updater ..
4 .. click read phone information. .and wait for a minute
5.. if it even shows a slight progress seen in the green bar , then you have a go..
Notes
:1.. if the kdz updater even hangs and stops responding while reading ur phone info.. and takes some time.. ur phone is connected in download mode even it shows the slightest progress in the progress bar ( green coloured)
2... if u cant switch off ur phone due to frequent restarts. . just keep the cable connected and the volume buttons pressed while it is restarting
[you can also see ur computer's device mgr for ur phone connection ]
then just flash the Kdz as you do..
I HAVE DONE IT MYSELF several times when my phone didn't show Download mode on the screen.. but cannot guarantee it'll work for you too.. I I'd recommend you to give it a try as it always worked fir me..

follow these steps.. :if you have less than 1 gb kdz file
1) Download the latest KDZ from LG's server for your phone via
the app below (kudos to the creator)
http://www.mediafire.com/?cgeb6o5osy2yl9c
2) Make sure you have LG United Drivers already installed,
otherwise download from below
http://www.mediafire.com/?82nt1aeh04aqa3m
3) Download LG KDZ Updater
http://www.mediafire.com/?sj5y073xal03ntw
4) Download the manual adb wipe batch file
http://www.mediafire.com/?ru7erfxsz7p7s3p
5) Put your Optimus G into Download Mode by switching it off,
attaching the usb cable to the phone, holding both the up and
down volume buttons at the same time and lastly inserting the
usb cable into the computer; wait for the drivers to finish
loading if doing it for the first time.
6) Unzip the downloaded updater zip file and run KDZ_FW_
UPD.exe. Use the settings below
Type: 3GQCT
Phone Mode: CS_Emergency
KDZ file: navigate to the folder which you have saved the
downloaded KDZ from the step (1)
Click Launch Software Update and wait for the flash process to
finish
7) Your phone will restart itself when IParam = 90 is displayed
and proceed slower until you see IParam=1 again (which
signals the end of flash, you can safely exit the program then
and remove the cable from the phone). If phone boots up
normally, congrats, skip the steps below and proceed to use the
phone as per normal.
However, this most probably will not be the case for newer
Optimus-es, as the data partition somehow wasn't wiped even
when KDZ-ed, remaining 'dirty', thus causing bootloop or
security infringement.
8) If the phone is stuck at the booting up LG/Telco logo, you
will need to manually wipe the data partition.
9) Force the phone off by holding the power button for appx
15secs.
10) Put the phone into recovery mode by holding the volume up
and home button concurrently, then press the power button. Let
go of all the buttons after you see the LG logo on screen for the
2nd time and the screen goes blank thereafter (backlight may
still be on). The phone will kind of reboot and then enters
recovery mode. Repeat the process if you did not get it the first
time.
11) With the phone in Recovery Mode, connect it to the
computer, wait for the drivers to load (if doing it for the first
time), unzip the wipe batch file downloaded earlier from step (4)
, double click on wipe.bat to execute the wipe command.
12) Your phone will auto reboot when wiped and (hopefully)
boot as per normal.
Hope with this simple guide fellow members will feel safer when
rooting or removing non essential LG wares from their Optimus

How to "debrick/unbrick"an oppo find 7/7a

Greetings,im Akmal and today I will be sharing some helpful solution to unbrick your Oppo Find 7/7A.Short Story(myb a lil bit longer)¬
So my find 7A got soft bricked when I install custom rom without using TWRP(pretty stupid to do so)
After rebooting my phone keeps on booting to fastboot mode and no matter it happen the same if i press vol up/vol down and power button.
At this stage I knew my phone is soft bricked. So I found the solution to it through some old posts which you have to extract the ColorOS blablabla and adb thingy(I dont wanna go through it here)
But I dont realised that i forget to flash a file name "TZ.MBN"
Now that my phone wont ever boot or even to fastboot which resulted to hard brick.
No recovery screen.
No Charging status screen
No Fastboot screen
No sign of vibrating when i push the power button
-So here is the solution-
Disclaimer-I am not responsible for what ever happen to your device after this-
-there are already some other posts like this but I make this post to let you know that its still working.
1a)First,download the OPPO UNBRICK TOOL HERE
bit.ly/OPPOUNBRICK
1b)goto Google and search for Qualcomm qd loader.download, install and restart your pc.
2)After restarting,Extract the file from OPPO UNBRICK TOOL and open "Msm8974DownloadTool.exe"
3)as you may have notice, its chinese language or some aliens language but dont worry it isn't corrupted, just follow through↓
4)disconnect your device battery, then open the software and press start, after that connect the phone to your pc/laptop (WITHOUT BATTERY) and hold volume up button
5)please wait patiently as it is reflashing stock rom to your device.
6)as you may have noticed maybe your device disconnected but DONT GET PANICKED! press again the power button until its downloading again on the software.
7)If it has done downloading, some row should be in a Green colour.
8)disconnect your cable and try turning on your device again.
That's it!Any comment or curiosity I will try helping you through the comment section but I not guaranteed everything I can answer
P/S:if your device is softbricked, you just should disconnect your battery, and then open the software and press start, then connect the phone to your pc/laptop (WITHOUT BATTERY) and hold volume up button.
If your device is hard bricked(like mine)only holding the power button could work as well
*UPDATE* 24/2/2019
-If you guys still have any concerns kindly contact me through twitter (0728mal)
*UPDATE* 4/7/2020
-yes it is still working guys,no worries kayy
-no you don't need internet for it to work, the software already has all the files needed to flash the device, which is why the file is pretty big.
best regards,
Akmal

-So here is the solution which make my phone came to life again-
Disclaimer-I am not responsible for what ever happen to your device after this-
-there are already some other posts like this but I make this post to let you know that its still working.
-make sure to charge the phone first even if you do not know if it charging or not
1)First,download the OPPO UNBRICK TOOL HERE
bit.ly/OPPOUNBRICK
2)Extract the file and open "Msm8974DownloadTool.exe"
3)as you may have notice, its chinese language or some aliens language but dont worry its not corrupted, just follow through
4)Connect your phone to PC and press the power button until you heard some like mounted usb alert on windows.(its ok aslong windows does not detect it on device manager but its ok if you can hear the alert sound.
5)back to the software,no need to mess around with it.Click on start until its downloading a "new life" to your phone.
6)as you may have noticed maybe your device disconnected but DONT GET PANICKED! press again the power button until its downloading again on the software.
7)If it has done downloading, some row should be in a Green colour.
8)disconnect your cable and try to turning on your device again.
That's it!Any comment or curiosity I will try helping you through the comment section but I not guaranteed everything I can answer
best regards,
Akmal

hi im having this problem as well. my find 7a is hard bricked after i flash coloros v2.1.5i without twrp. the problem is, my computer does not detect my phone at all even after i hard reset and hold power button for 30 seconds. i dont think the battery is drained because before this happened, my phones battery was about 90% and i try recharging the phone for 30 minutes, and nothing happened. so the debrick tool cannot be used. can you suggest anything for my problem?
Got excited when I read this post! Is there an Oppo Unbrick tool for Mac? I don't have a Windows machine so I can't run the .exe file... Is there an equivalent for those of us not on Windows? Thank you

On Mac's OS, you can always install Windows on its proprietary virtual machine and get the process going that way.

yeah you can try WINE also but i never have any experience with mac os before so i cant guarantee that it will work considering that you're configuring your drivers, which can go wrong if not done correctly
So I have bricked my phone (X9006) while trying to install TWRP recovery. It is stuck on logo and adb/ fastboot does not recognise it anymore. I have tried the above-mentioned tool, but this program also does not do anything for a long time. Am I missing something in applying this solution?
Edit: I am an Windows 10 and I might not have the Qualcomm drivers installed. I don't know how to install

Hello there.have you tried downloading the "Qualcomm"
Driver software on your PC?
is it necessary to remove the battery? I don't have tools for opening my phone and it's battery is non-removable
Perhaps an important step is missing. The Qualcomm qd loader driver is may not signed. I had to boot into the extended start menu on Windows 10 and disable the driver signature check - point 7 - and could now successfully debrick my find7.

Vibe P1A42 stuck at Lenovo logo bootloop

Hello Guys,
My Lenovo P1A42 is stuck in Lenovo logo bootloop.
I tried to flash the stock rom "P1a42_S288_160721_ROW_RAW_QFIL" with QFIL.
So with QFIL, I see the Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM3).
I select "P1a42_S288_160721_ROW_RAW_QFIL\prog_emmc_firehose_8936.mbn" for programmer path.
I select build "P1a42_S288_160721_ROW_RAW_QFIL"
I also select rawprogram0.xml and patch0.xml.
It takes about 10 minutes to download and in the end "Download succeed. Finish download" message appears.
After this step, I press power+vol up+vol down together for around 12 secs to let the phone start with the downloaded new rom but again the phone goes to lenovo logo bootloop.
I have been continuosly searching for the solution but I still could not find it.
Probably I am missing a very small detail.
Can somebody please help me with this problem?
Thanks in advance.
Regards.
After a lot of trials I could solve the problem, but I dont know what I did different.
I did everything the same.
Anyway thanks to everybody who read.
Regards.

Please follow Getting Ready and Flashing ROM from the link https://forum.xda-developers.com/vibe-p1/development/qpst-flashing-vibeui-3-1-s272-rom-t3386650 . Once Success, The system/Phone reboots itself, You need not hold any combination of keys to reboot
Primarily make sure Your PC?Laptop detects QComm Driver when you Hold Vol Up+USB. If the device is detected and Driver not installed, You can install the same from the above link.
Verify the above using Device manager.

Dear pavanpilot94,
Thank you for your message.
I had already made the procedure following the instructions in the link you sent to me. In the end of the download "Download succeed. Finish download" message appeared, but it did not restart automatically.
That is why as mentioned in the instructions you sent; ("If "ready" message appears and device does not go to reboot, then hold Volume UP + Power buttons for ~12 sec.")), I had to make the key combination.
But everytime the device went to reboot the old Android in the device, so flashing was not successful.
I do not know where the problem was. After many trials, I could flash successfully, but everytime I had to do the same things. I did not make anything different.
Anyway the problem is solved now, but next time flashing, I do not know how to avoid this problem.
Thank you very much.

I now understand very clearly hagiwatt,
I'm happy that Device is back!!! :good::good::highfive:
On a Guess from the above understood there might be corrupt emmc locations, For this to be verified we might have to format the entire emmc. I'm too stuck with Logo Screen now, Unfortunately my Device is not getting detected by the Computer(Qcomm QDLoader) to have it flashed.
Trying to Fix it, I did a entire Format & Verified any Bad sectors as suggested by one of the developer, Unfortunately still not able to get the device detected.

I struggled for it since I wanted to send the device to warranity for vibration problem. I am happy that I could flash with the raw rom. I also wanted to reset the binary counter but no way.
Triangle Away does not support Lenovo.
I hope they are not checking the binary counter in the service center.
Does anyone have an experience about it?
Thanks.

Hi Everybody!
I have just recieved the phone from service center. They fixed the vibration problem under warranity.
So binary counter did not affect the warranity status.
I dont know if they checked the counter or not.
For information to anyone who has the same issue.
Regards.
