I wanted to make a flashable zip to change the little white dot that comes on when you turn on show touches in the dev menu.
I've tried going through the code to find where I'd need to do the edit to add a graphic but I can't find anything about it... Anyone out there wanna help point me in the direction of it?

do a search man... you've made it almost all the way.... first step was getting the phone, then hearing about rooting, then finding xda~..... ..next you get root..and change icons!!!..

FolderOrganizer is good for changing icons. You can always get ADW Launcher too.
Not trying to be mean, but look around. Your in the right place. There's an infinite number of threads with mods and instructions.

While the (above) info is helping point you in the right direction (you're in the correct forum)....first off, is your phone rooted? For you to properly "theme" your phone you have to be rooted.
Look at this is you are not rooted. There are different ways to go about it. Read each very carefully.
Many custom roms come with the changes you want built in.
Or you can learn adb commands and pull the framework-res.apk file off the phone and just change them and then push it back. Its that simple

Its not hard. You install the hboot drivers from unrevoked, install then uninstall htc sync, enable usb debugging on your phone, run unrevoked. Take like 6 minutes.

Hello all.
I am trying to find a site to create my own app for a website. I was able to create one using appsgeyser.com but that is more like a shortcut for the website. I am trying to make an app that is set up like the xda app. The website is a forum style. I am not asking anyone to make this for me or give me a step by step. Just a website that I can make it on. Or a website that will explain it. I have searched with out much luck. Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks.

iVE USED APPS GEYSER AND ibuildapp both of which have online building and publishing, ibuildapp is more thorough lets you publish to android market and even generates the required keys
I got the softkeys and have no idea how to get rid of it. Would someone please be kind to show me or post a link to how to do it. Thanks

Hello,I haven't posted much mods for a while figured I'd share some cool tweaks for your stock Samsung mms.apk Am currently using clean Rom 4.1.2
All Codes are entered in SYSTEM/CSC/feature.xml
Copy the full code of which ever ones you want within the text folder (download link) and paste it under the (message) part in your actual feature.xml file within system/csc

Any chance anyone has the full feature.xml possibly stock but if not one modded with these? I pulled a dumb move and messed with mine and didn't make a backup and now can't receive mms Thanks in advance

Yup got it put it in and all is back to normal thanks man. But ended up finding out it wasn't even an issue with that file it was stupid ad block plus

If you want the "on" only to display when the wifi is actually connected, change it from 1 to 2.
If you didn't stumble upon it during your search, you should keep a link to the Zooper Variables Reference ready. It might come in handy later
