Hi all. Just purchased this device. What do you suggest I get to protect the screen that works well with the s-pen?

I also want to buy a protective glass. Only here http://aliexpress.com/item/High-Qua...ector-for-Samsung-Galaxy-Note/1822614068.html
Now I have a protective film. S-pen works fine. But control of the fingers became much worse.

Hello! anyone bought the glass on eBay?

I got one from Tinxi on Amazon.de.
Nice not to expensive.
One thing is clear though, if you love your note and you like to write on it, get an glass screen protector. I used SGP steinheil on my note 3 and my note 2014. But after putting glass on my note 3 I knew I wanted the same for my note 2014. I'll never go back to anything else.

screen protector
I've always get mine screen protector at the booth at my local mall. I keep forgetting what the name. I always known it as lifetime screen protector. They are the best screen protector I have and have it install on all my devices. But one down fall is that they cost a lot. $35 for my note 2014 and $20 for my note II. Replacement is $10 for the Note 2014 and $5 for the note II.

I got one from eBay for about $20. It's thicker than the expensive ones but i don't mind. In fact i like how the home button is now recessed. Accidental wakings when i carry my Note in my bag don't happen anymore. I use the s pen a lot and haven't had any issues. It's not a mil-spec fit though....prolly a scant millimeter gap at the edges. Doesn't bother me at all though and i'd buy it again.

Any suggestions?

Ghost armor even tho it was $26 bucks I think its well worth it im loving it so far you cant really tell much that you have a sp on and its scratch proof so using the s-pen leaves no scratches which the last sp did plus life time warrenty you cant beat that.

Yea I know what you mean many of my friend's didn't know I actually had a screen protector on since it looks real clear and real good one of my friend just got his GN2 today I just came from his house he envy my screen protector so he's thinking about trying it out. Idk but me I dont like to keep switching screen protectors constantly so thats why im trying this ghost armor see how long it will last me. The cheap sprint SP lasted only a week it was full of scratches from the s-pen and it started to annoy me when I lookbst my screen to view the web or videos I would see all these scratches on the SP so I just decided to try ghost.
Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
I bought a few cheap ones online, but with my gel case, the edges of the screen protector are lifting up (from squeezing the case).
Do some of the other brands hold their edges better? Or do some wrap around the side?
I guess I could trim them, but I know I won't like the look after.

What screen protector do you prefer zagg or ghost armour

Sent from my SGH-M919
I haven't heard of ghost armour, but I prefer spigen or realook. I have a zagg invisible shield on my N7, and it's awful. It feels tough.
You should put this in the Accessories forum.
Neither, SGP all the way.

neither- Xtreme Guard. Cheap if you get the right promo codes online and its strong.
I got the Spigen slim armor case and GLAS.tR screen protector this time around. Expensive for a screen protector, but this is a $650 phone after all. So much more luxurious than the plastic protectors... I don't think I could ever go back to one of those.

These aren't a bad option. I have use them since the Sensation with no complaints, only problem I ever had was with the Note 2's S-Pen leaving trails on the protector.
I personally buy the 10x $1.79 screenies and wet apply them. Come out great and it's not big deal to replace them.
Replace a screen protector I dont replace them I put a zagg on my sensation snd it lasted forever itd still on there after 2 yrs.

first off i dont blame anyone for using a screen protector with the prices of some of these phones today.
but personally i stopped using screen protectors all together,it came to me one day as i was looking at my phone and seeing all the scratches on the screen protector,i was like why do i pay $25 for a screen protector so i dont get scratches on my screen and in reality all it does is make my view look scratched easier and never get to fully enjoy my shiny new screen.i understand that you can just keep replacing them and it can keep your screen looking new right up to the end of your contract but at that time it will not matter to me as i will be getting a new phone anyways and can care less about if it has any scratches when bestbuy gives me $8 of credit for the trade in lol.
also i must say these newer glasses they are using on there screens are impressive i stopped using screen protectors when i got my S3, and after using it for a few days shy of a year i still had 0 scratches but was always careful to not put it in my pocket with my keys and all that.i just got my S4 and plan to do the same with this one and from what i read this one has even better glass, while i dont think my sprint mogul would have lasted a week without screen protection back in the day these current phones really dont seem to need them.
but to put in my 2¢ i believe i was using screen protectors made by 3M, im sure they where not the best but they worked pretty good for about $15 each.

It's the first glass one I've ever tried, and I love it. I got it directly from Spigen at spigen.com. They have a lower-cost replacement plan in case you break it, so I thought it would be good to buy direct in case I ever need to use that.
The Glas.TR was $35 through Amazon IIRC, not a cheap screen protector, but easy enough application, and smooth as the "naked" screen
The generic tmobile screen protector is pretty good.

Rearth Screen Protectors (8/9)

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00E81PHF0/
Since the ASUS ones seem out of stock in most places, this one seems like a great deal. 3 for about $8. I used this for the 1st gen Nexus 7 and for my Nexus 4 and they work well.
thanks bought one 10.9x$ shipped to canada I hope quality is good
Even thought it says it's arriving in stock on 8/9, they appear to be shipping now. I just got a shipping notice from them.
Does anyone know if the previous rearth so had the cutouts? I just ordered the spigen so but I see that those had the cutouts.

Tried it for my note 2.it's really nice and well fitted, but it definitely got scratched easily.it would get scratched by things that would not scratch your device it been naked.
If your the ocd type, you'll be replacing it about every month

Most screen protectors have a hardness of 3H. I think Gorilla Glass is about 7H.

What screen protector do you use?

Well the note 3 has now been out for some time! What screen protector do you guys use if any, how do you like it? Also do you run into sensitivity issues or issues with the stylus?

No marks at all. Even fingerprints are rare unless I have greasy fingers, but wipes clean extremely easily. It's made of tempered glass, so I won't expect marking by the stylus.
Bubbles? I got a few when I first paved it on the phone, but they pressed out very easily. No bubbles at all on the screen, crystal clear.
I picked it up at best buy.

8$ random tempered glass from ebay, it's outlasted a 40$ mime and looks flawless after four months
I've used the iLoome 9h tempered glass with an Otterbox Defender since I got the phone in November, and I couldn't be happier. No bubbles, no scratches, rarely even any fingerprints. Most people don't even think I have a screen protector on until I tell them...

Anything tempered glass is the way to be. It is far superior to the standard screen protector is quality and feel and also visibility. Grab the off brands anywhere online, or unusually just go to Verizon store, and grab one, like 15 bucks for one, and they last for a super long time while retaining their new appearance.
I've used iSmooth on my last few phones. They cost a few bucks more but have lifetime warranty, which I've used and gotten replacements pretty quick. Come 3 to a pack so even if you screw up on the first one you've got 2 more, contact CS whenever you need more. Anything that doesn't use a stylus I use extremeguard. They do 90% of sales quite often and thats when I stock up. Good deal.

Otterbox Defender Case

Has anyone tried the Otterbox Defender for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014? I would like to know if it adds a major amount of thickness to the tablet and how does the stand work?

Thanks!
Been using this case since it's release and I love the durability it gives the tablet for working in the construction industry but it does just about double the thickness of the case. The stand is more or less a cover that can snap on the front or back of the tablet to add protection to the screen while traveling. Look up reviews for the iPad defender case as it is pretty much identical in function. I can try and get some pics of it later if someone wants it.

I'm typing on it right now- case is solid and stand works great but Has a like bulky but worth it.
Yes they are expensive but cheaper than a repair. This tablet is stupidly fragile. I should know screen cracked yesterday. Put a screen protector on it to smooth glass. All kinds of bubbles from glass shards and the inside is really dusty due to having to reapply because stupid glass shards
