[Q] System errors even after a factory reset, help? - G Pad 8.3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Thanks in advance for any advice given!
I was running Mahdi Rom, one build behind the latest, and all I can remember before things went tits up was I was updating a couple of apps through the play store.
Then I started getting repeated androidsystemui processs ended errors every few seconds. I rebooted into recovery and wiped everything through TWRP. Still got system errors after reboot, couldn't even get through the google account login and sync.
Downloaded the LG mobile support tool and flashed back to total stock -- can't go wrong, right?
Now I'm getting android.system.acore proccess ended errors, and Google Play won't run at all. Any hope, or am I fried?
Fingers crossed,
Yojimboj

Download Unsuccessful Error

I just flashed back to CM 7.0.3 (came back from MIUI) and the market will start the download but I keep getting the DOWNLOAD IS NOT SUCCESSFUL error, I did a full wipe and cleared the cache and the market cache as well but nothing has worked. I really need help fellas, thanks in advance.
It occasionally does that, and the CM team is looking into it. Have you tried the newest nightly? Is this on 3G, wifi, or both? Can you try it on both if you haven't?
The weird thing is that I was on CM7.0.3 before I tried MIUI and never had a problem, but when I switched back to CM7.0.3 I started to have this issue. Anyways, I just tried downloading the apps on 3G and it worked so thank you for that, but I'm still trying to figure out why this happened to me ? lol.
Wait scratch that, spoke too soon I was able to download 1 app and then it went back to download unsuccessful, fml.
Try signing into Google Talk. I had this problem numerous times, and found out that Google's main solution is that one must be signed in to Google Talk or the Market will fail to download apps.
i am currently running stock, but when I get that error I have to move the app from my SD card to the phone.

[Q] Installed CyanogenMod updates no connection to Play Store

I was running cm-10.2.1 and last night I installed CyanogenMod updates cm-11-20140104-SNAPSHOT-M2 and cm-11-20140210-SNAPSHOT-M3. Several of my apps either quit working or disappeared. When I clicked on Play Store to try and re-install the apps, I got a message of "No Connection". Searched the problem and several people said to delete the Google Account and re-install it. After deleting it, the phone will not let me recreate it. When I click on Add Account and then the Google symbol, nothing happens.
Is there solution to fix this? if not, can I just re-install 10.2.1 and fix it?
My phone is an AT&T SGS3.
Thanks,
retnuh
Re-flash GApps, that has happened to me before, and this is what fixed it.
As LittlePalmTree stated, sounds like you need to reflash GAPPS. Make sure you grab the one compatible with cm11. cm11 is android 4.4 where as cm10.2 was 4.3 if I am not mistaken.
Thanks for the help. I tried to re-flash the gapps after reading the first reply but before reading the second reply. You guessed it. I did it wrong. The phone would not get past the spinning circle screen. Ended up using CWM to re-flashing the rom stored on my phone and also re-flashing the gapps stored on my phone. So, I'm back to version 10.2.0, but at least my phone is working again. While I would like to update, I'm afraid I will mess my phone up again.
Thank you for both of your replies.
Googled the problem and found a few solutions from the simple - force stop/clear cache - up to full factory resets.
Different things seemed to work for different people.
Tried the force stop/clear cache and check time/date is correct (which causes some people problems.
Then I tried removing my Google account and adding it in again. However, it wouldn't let me do that until I re-flashed GAPPS. Did that and it all works fine now.

Pandora stopped working, stuck at splash

Hello all. Hoping someone can help me figure out why Pandora has stopped working on my N7 2013. It is fairly new, got it for Xmas. It is unlocked and rooted, but running the stock 4.3 rom (no interest in 4.4+ at this time).
Pandora was working fine at first, but when I opened it yesterday, it gave me an error, saying something like "your pandora session has timed out", and kicked me out of the app. Opened it back up, and it was stuck at the splash. Left it for several minutes, and nothing. So I force closed it, cleared it's data and cache, and reopened it, same problem. Uninstalled it, reinstalled it, same problem.
Went into recovery, cleared dalvik and cache, booted back up, reinstalled Pandora, same problem. So finally, I made a titanium backup of all my apps (no system settings), did a factory reset, restored my backed up apps, everything EXCEPT Pandora, downloaded that fresh from the play store, opened it, same problem... wtf???
Ok, fine, it wants to play hard ball... so I did another factory reset, then wiped data, cache and dalvik seperately. Booted, set up my google account, and didn't install ANYTHING, EXCEPT for Pandora.
SAME PROBLEM!!
What is going on here??? For what it's worth, Pandora still works fine on my phone (Rooted 4.3 GS4). So it's not a server outage or anything like that. This has been going on since last night.
My last ditch effort would be to restore the factory image, then unlock and reroot again but damn... what could possible be stuck so bad as to survive all that? I have not modified /system/ at all except for installing busybox and supersu.
... well... what the heck. So I flashed the factory image, and now, finally, Pandora is working again.
I can't think what the heck would have happened in /system/ or anywhere else other than /data/ that would stick through a factory reset and keep Pandora from working....
Any ideas? I really, REALLY want to avoid this happening again.
Upgrade
I have installed Pandora v5.5
I don't think it is available in the Play Store yet. It could be an issue with ART and Lollipop. Flashing a stock older image could be what works with that version.
I only see Pandora 5.4 in the Play Store.
5.5 brings a new Interface and some really cool features. You have to find it online and side load it. Probably what your problem is/was.

[Q] Help please, screwed up ROM installation

Hi guys I hope i'm in the right place.
So i've had a samsung galaxy s3 t999v for 2-3 years now and just yesterday i decided to root and upgrade the rom.
so i've been messing with it and now in a difficult situation...
I installed Lollipop Custom ROM...
i followed this link
Everything worked out, i had installed the ROM and was working, but I hadn't put installed the GAPPS and when I tried to just get the apk files which i did but google services would keep crashing.
"unfortunately google services has stopped".
Now you may say, oh just go into recovery mode and reset to factory or w.e, well that's the thing... I can't get into Recovery mode.
and that's where I am now... Help.

Click to collapse
You can factory reset the phone in Settings > Backup and reset > Factory data reset. If that doesn't work, what happens when you try to get into recovery? It probably wouldn't hurt to try reflashing your recovery.

[Q] Google Playstore Broke?

Good morning! Alright. So. All I've done to my phone was Root it and get Xposed on it. Everything was completely fine until last night. Now, whenever I try to download anything from the Playstore, it just gets stuck on "Downloading". I've tried wiping its cache, its data, force closing it, reinstalling the update. Nothing seems to solve this issue. I was wondering if anyone else has run into this issue on this phone, and how they resolved it? I can't even update my applications, and I didn't even get a chance to Update my Phone, but now when I try to Scan for Updates, it just gets stuck searching :/
This happened to me at first. What worked for me for a couple days was to toggle airplane mode. Then, it started getting stuck again. So, I downloaded Beans GAPPS, and extracted Google Play services and Play Store.apk, and that seems to be working. Keep in mind, that not everything is going to work smoothly. If none of this works, look for the .apk and move it to your device and install it that way. Hope that helps, bud.
I tried Googling Beans GApps, but it seems like they haven't been updated in about a year. Or am I looking in the wrong places?
This has also been my problem since getting a pixel 2 xl almost a month ago. In fact, I wanted to make a thread about my issue earlier but I'm just too lazy! The only thing I did at first was to unlock the bootloader.
Now, I am completely stock without even root but my playstore downloads are stuck in "downloading" and usually the download starts after being stuck in this phase with about 15-30 minutes delay (which could even be hours before my download is finally started, so it's random). The funny thing is playstore lists my device certification status as "uncertified" in the settings. I have tried clearing cache+data of play services+play store+removing/adding my Google account. I also did a fresh and clean install of the May security update rom but all to no avail. I remember reading in another thread that Google may impose a 7 day lock or something for your Google account in these instances so at this point I am just waiting it out (only 3-4 more days remaining) to see if my problem goes away by itself, otherwise, I am pretty clueless as to what I should do next.
